for covers, I tend to use

meaning - or whatever

any other ratio of 512:800 will also work.

note: the wattpad ratio is not the same as the dimensions for 'international' A4 paper, so there you go. Thought that might help.

icons/album covers:

this is just me trying to waste words, but this should be straightforward.

any dimension where the works.

I tend to go with 400 x 400 for icons, because it's just easier to work with when I'm designing.

and 800-1000 x 800-1000 when making an album cover.

to note: when you're making icons, make sure you zoom out or whatever to make it mini so you can check any text you've placed there, and wether you need to make it big or not so it is legible

banners/blends:

banners vary on how I want them to look like. and by banners/blends, btw, I mean the stuff you put at the top/bottom etc of a chapter in a book.

some dimensions include:

1000 x 250

900 x 1000

1000 x 300

2000 x 400

profile headers:

okie, so. these are the banners that are above your profile, and I never seem to figure out the right dimensions. google wasn't helpful either.

I'm settling on 1365 x 320 right now, and I have no clue how accurate that is, because I have yet to make a banner with those dimensions.

as of now, I've been taking screen shots and experimenting with them to find the best placement for my profile banner at . not that it's great, it cuts off, but at least it's legible. kind of.
