《Rosa Perri Gilbert》Chapter 10

The next morning came, Perri decided that she would walk to the park and read a book. She had enough of the supernatural for a bit, and just wanted to get lost in a new world. But Perri always had the problem of not being completely aware of her surroundings. Which at times could be really bite her in the ass, and now happened to be one of those times. Perri was so captivated by her book, she didn't notice someone walking up behind her, and in an instant, she was knocked unconscious.
Right now, a lot was going on in Mystic Falls, well only if you knew about the supernatural. Elijah, Klaus, Kol and Rebekah learned of their mothers plan to kill them. So to keep that from happening, they sent the Salvatore brothers to stop Esther from channeling the Bennet witch line. And to make sure they wouldn't double cross the Mikaelson's, Rebekah was sent to keep and eye on Elena, and if given the word, to kill Elena.
And not only were they trying to stop their mother form killing them, they also needed to find Perri.
Elijah, Kol and Klaus made their way toward Esther and Finn. Who were surrounded by five torches. Kol proceeded to the circle but as he got closer, the flames grew, stopping him from going any further. The 'family' began bickering, with Klaus who threatened to send Esther to hell. The three brothers on the outside of the circle were too preoccupied arguing with Esther and Finn that they didn't notice a heartbeat that was actually very close to them.
Perri woke up in pain, her vision was blurry and she was too weak to get up. But Perri knew that she heard very familiar voices.
"Oh boys you wouldn't want anything to happen to dearest little Perri would you?" Esther taunted, "Finn."

Finn moved aside to reveal a small girl on the ground, curled in a ball, "You know what she is don't you Niklaus? It would be a shame if she was turned before she matured, don't you think?" he asked smirking evilly.
Kol who recognized the girl immediately, "Finn don't you dare hurt her!" He demanded.
"Well you can't do much out there now canyon brother?" Finn said. He hoisted up the young Gilbert, and brought his wrist to his mouth, biting into it.
By now Perri was fully aware of her surroundings and she was completely petrified, "No! No, please!" she screamed, struggling against Finn. Although everything she did was hopeless. Finn then brought his bleeding wrist towards Perri's mouth, which she clamped shut, but that didn't hold long. Soon Finn pushed open her mouth and unwillingly Perri swallowed the blood.
"NO!" The three brothers screamed in fear. Perri was sobbing uncontrollably, wanting nothing more than just wake up from this horrible nightmare.
But before anything else happened Esther gasped, "No! Sisters do not leave me!" she pleaded. The torched began to glow brighter and brighter and soon Esther and Finn were both gone, leaving a traumatized Perri on the ground.
Kol rushed to Perri's side, cradling her to his chest. Perri was clinging to Kol, shaking and crying into his jacket, "It's alright darling," he whispered, trying to soothe her, "I've got you now, you're safe."
"Kol we should get her back to the house," Klaus said looking around seeing if Esther was somewhere in the trees.
Kol glared at Klaus but before he could say anything Elijah butted in, "Kol I think it is in Perri's best interest to get her back home." Kol sighed but nodded. He picked Perri up bridal style and the three brothers whooshed to the mansion.

Klaus and Elijah stayed in the living room while Kol went straight to his room. He laid Perri, who was close to falling asleep, on his bed. He covered her with a blanket and joined his siblings downstairs.
"How is she?" Klaus asked when Kol appeared, by now Rebekah was with them as well.
"How do you thing? She's completely terrified," he sighed angrily.
"We have to address that Mother and Finn know about the powers that Perri possess," Klaus said seriously.
"What is she, a witch?" she asked confusedly.
"No, something far more powerful," Elijah said, "at first they were just suspicions. But after a while Niklaus and I discovered that Perri is an elemental."
"That's impossible," Bekah scoffed, but when she saw her brothers faces' she gasped, "How do you know for sure?"
"Well her powered won't fully emerge until her 18th birthday," Elijah began to explain, " but its the little things. Like her emotions and how the affect the weather. Or how plants act around her, if you watch carefully you can see plants liven up when she is around them."
"The closer he birthday comes the more her powers will start to reveal themselves," Kol said, "though she won't have full access to them until then."
"Does she know?" Bekah asked.
"No," Kol answered quickly, "We were planning on telling her but then, well Mother and Finn happened. We should tell her tomorrow though." The siblings all agreed on this decision, although none were totally sure on how Perri was going to handle being told that she was an elemental and she would stop aging on her 18th birthday. They would just have to wait and see.
After that decision the siblings fled to their beds for the night but Kol didn't sleep in his bed, he took a chair and placed it next to the bed. Kol sat for a while just watching as Perri slept peacefully, which kinda surprised him, considering the night she'd had. He didn't mean to fall asleep, he wanted to stay awake in case Perri woke up, but with everything that happened today, he just couldn't fight against the exhaustion. The last thing that occupied his head before sleep overtook him, was the thought of how Perri would react to everything she was going to be told in the morning, and that thought frightened him.
