《Rosa Perri Gilbert》Chapter 8

In the car ride, though it was short, we talked and laughed a lot. I really enjoyed Kol's company. Plus it helps that he is beyond gorgeous. Although he can be really cocky, he still has his sweet moments.
"Well thank you for the ride," I sad smiling at Kol.
"Of course, darling, do you want me to stay or shall I pick you up when you have finished?" Kol asked.
"Oh well I'll be here for a few hours probably, and I can just walk back, I need the exercise anyway," I said not wanting to trouble him.
"Okay first of all you definitely do not need the exercise, you're what 90 pounds? Second how can you dance for hours?" Kol asked completely confused.
"Actually I once was in a studio for five hours just for myself," Kol raised his eyebrows at me, "I was practicing a piece I choreographed myself, it was for showcase and I was just obsessing over it," I said looking down a little.
"No need to be embarrassed love, but do you mind if I observe?" he asked.
"You'll probably be bored out of your mind, but sure I don't mind," I said getting out of the car, "follow me." I led Kol into the studio and went to the room I had reserved yesterday.
As we got there another guy walked into it the same time as we did. "I'm sorry what do you think you're doing?" I asked confusedly.
"About to use the studio, what does it look like?" he said rudely.
"Actually I reserved this studio-" he cut me off.
"Well I was here first," he said smugly.
Kol was about to say something, or worse, but I stopped him, "Listen here pal, I really don't have time to deal with your arrogant ass. I just had a fight with my older bitchy sister so you really don't want to cross me right now. And I won't be able to hold him off too much longer, so you have about 8 seconds to leave before my boyfriend rips you apart, literally," I said crossing my arms and smirking at him. I could tell Kol was staring the guy down, mostly 'cause the guy was looking above my head and looked like a deer in headlights. After that he ran off, which was hilarious.

"So boyfriend?" Kol said smugly, wiggling his eyebrows at me.
"Shut up, and stop looking at me like that," I said pushing him slightly, "anyway it was just a scare tactic."
"Hmm, whatever you say," he said, "but I feel like we should at least go on a date if we are already putting a label on our relationship."
I rolled my eyes at him, "you can sit there next to the stereo, and you'll be in charge of playing and pausing the music."
I handed the remote to Kol, "Ooo exciting," he said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes at him, again, and put my point shoes on and went to the bar to start warming up.
I was interrupted by Kol asking a question, "I thought you just put those shoes on when you're dancing, not warming up?"
"Well you're right but this is the way professionals do it, so it's how I usually warm up," I explained.
"*cough* try hard *cough,*" Kol hit his chest to play it off, "Sorry I got something in my throat."
I gaped at him, "You know you don't have to stay," I sassed.
"No, no, no, I want to stay. You do you," Kol said, I was about to continue but he asked another question, "Why are you wearing pants?"
I sighed and looked at him, "Because I am warming up," I said.
After about 15 minutes I was done warming up and went into my bag for my CD. I was about to put the disc in but Kol stopped me, "I'm in charge of the stereo," he said putting the CD in the player.
"Sorry," I giggled putting my hand in a mock surrender, "Can you please skip it to the fourth track but don't play it yet?" I asked stripping down to my black leotarded and putting on my red tutu. I went to the center of the room and nodded my head for Kol to start the music.

"Oh my God its 11?" I shouted, "Why didn't you stop me? We've been here for hours!"
"Well I liked watching you dance. You're so focused like you're in another world, and I've never seen anything like it before, and I have been around a long time," Kol said smiling sincerely.
"Well then I'm glad you enjoyed it," I said sitting down and taking my shoes off, wincing as I looked at my ugly dancer feet. Once I was done putting my things in my bag and wrapping my feet quickly, I stood up, "Alright ready to go?"
"Of course, after you darling," Kol said taking my bag for me and holding the door open.
During the car ride I noticed Kol kept looking at my shoes with furrowed eyebrows, "Is there something wrong with my shoes?" I asked
"Those aren't even shoes, those are slippers and slippers are meant for the house. So why are you wearing them now?" he asked.
"My feet hurt after dancing on pointe, so I wear these. And for your information most dancers do this," I said crossing my arms and looking out the window.
Kol chuckled, "Well sorry for not knowing about the dance trends."
When we got back to the house I went to Bekah's room and talked to her for a bit. She left to go downstairs, and I changed into a tank top and sweatpants. I slid down the stair railing, like in the movies.
"Hello Perri, how was the dance studio?" Elijah asked meeting me at the end of the stair case.
"It was very productive, thank you," I said laughing a little bit.
"Perri your obsessive brother has been calling your phone non-stop," Rebekah yelled from the living room, "if you don't come in here and answer him I'm going to throw your phone against the wall." Elijah and I walked into the living room chuckling at Rebekah's annoyance.

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. Farrien welcomed home millions of troops and warriors with the Archdukes of Aerianne and Kanaria leading them at the forefront. It was common belief that they possessed special blood blessed by the Goddess Stecia, who gifted the lineage to the first King of Farrien when he first founded the country. All were ecstatic when the current generation of the two Archduchy's, after the war, agreed to let their children wed. The excitement was short-lived however when the Aerianne Princess proved to be a dragoness among men but the Kanarian Prince was worse than even mediocre. The Prince disappeared and the wedding was shortly forgotten as society lived on. Until one day the Young Heir of Kanaria returned to Farrien a changed man, bringing demise with him. Follow the story of the Chosen ordained by the Goddess of Time as he returns to the past to right his wrongs and set things back straight again!
