《1984》Chpt. 29

AN//I want to talk about something before I begin with the new season. This is something that has been nagging at me for the past few days and I feel like I need to share with my loyal readers. It's about the smut. Now, I've never had anyone come to me or comment that I'm "glorifying rape," however, I really feel like I should say something about it, given my obviously risky position.

No, I'm not glorifying rape. Not at all. That's not what 1984 is about. 1984 is about a very sad, corrupt person falling into the hands of another extremely corrupt person who does very terrible things to the first. Sai ((as displayed in early chapters)) has 2 sides to him. One, his more "gentle" ((for lack of a better word)) side, Sai, and his more cruel side, Vigil.

Sai.. is our main character's sober side. The side who just wants to survive and get by with whatever means necessary. He doesn't wanna socialize, or integrate himself into anything. He's just focused on survival and not making a scene of himself. He's the side that

Vigil, on the other hand, is the bloodlusting, sex crazy side. He doesn't care that much about living and just wants blood, sex, drugs, alcohol... you get it. No one knows just how much he's capable of. He wants to integrate himself into society and make himself a spectacle. You could say he's the side that any way he can get it.

Now, when you put them together in one body, you get this kind of multipersonality. When Sai falls under the influence of something, he becomes weak and Vigil takes form to cover for him. That's just how it is.

When you put them in a situation like the once Lance has, they go a little ape shit. Of course they do, they're trying to cope. When Sai falls under the influence of bloodlust, he crumbles and Vigil takes over the body and mind. Like I just said, Vigil is a sex crazy personality and can't help himself. Lance, being the he is, takes advantage of the vulnerable state of Vigil and Vigil lets him with open arms ((or.. legs...)). That is why he seems like he likes it. Because he really does. Or at least Vigil does.

I really, really hope this clears it up for everyone... And if you guys didn't even need to see this and are already okay with what I'm doing, I'm sorry for wasting your time. Anyhow, please enjoy the next season of 1984 and I purple you all who have supported me, left comments, voted, and just kept reading and stuck with me through the lull of updates.

"Yeah~. He is." said an unfamiliar, smooth voice.

I frowned and breathed in deeply, stiffly squirming around on my spot on the floor.

"Oh, you woke him." went Lance's familiar hum.

"Sorry..."

I groggily opened my eyes to find two men standing over me. One, of course, was Lance, but the other... He was a little shorter than Lance and had black hair. That's all I could tell under the darkness.

With a smile, he patted Lance's arm.

"Tsk, oh Lance~!" he softly sang. "He's so cute!! What's his name~??"

Lance took his vacant stare off me and put it on him. "Sai. That's his name."

The guy looked back down at me and repeated my name. "Sai... That's an unusual name." he chuckled, "It sounds Japanese.."

"Yeah is does, doesn't it? He's not Asian though, so it mustn't be his birth given name."

There was a small silence.

"...Well, his name won't matter, will it now?" the new guy finally chimed.

"No, I guess not."

Lance took a short moment to arrange eye contact with the other.

"You wanna try him out right now?"

"Try me out!?"

Why!? With what!? How!!?

I let out a tiny, but audible whimper from the floor. I dared not move. All I was able to do was look up at them and hope for the best as I was utterly helpless against one.. let alone two...

Lance bent down at me, holding out his hand.

"Don't worry, Sai. I promise we won't hurt you. We just want a little fun. Don't you want fun, too? You've been working so hard.."

He spoke to me like I was a small child. Even so, it helped me calm down a tad.

Without having any other choice, I gave him a sheepish nod, but didn't take his hand.

Lance pursed his lips and turned his head, signaling he was talking to the other. "He's a little shy. Go ahead and make yourself comfortable on the bed. We'll be there in a second."

He nodded and walked off.

Lance turned back to me. He took a seat on the floor in front of me.

At the neutral gesture, I sat up. Though I'm sure Lance would've rather me keep my eyes on him, I couldn't take them away form the other guy.

He was sitting at the edge of the bed. His posture was so perfect and straight as he sat so patiently, his hands neatly placed in his lap. He was... smiling as he kept his eyes very keen on me.

Given the distance we now had, I could now at least tell that the new guy was oriental. He had darker skin and more narrow eyes than Lance. His face was a oval kind of shape. He seemed to smile with his eyes and his lips naturally curved at the ends which was rather unnerving, because behind that jolly face, none could detect very easily if he was thinking cruel thoughts or not.

Maybe that's the face of a really good liar...
