He took the shower head off it's rack and aimed the temperate water at me, drenching me on the spot. I didn't struggle, I only closed my eyes and waited for it to be over. He poured some soap on a wash rag and squeezed it, making the spud erupt from the old cloth.

He knelt down next to me and held out his hand.

I looked at it, then back to him with questioning eyes.

"Give me your arm."

I gave him my left arm for him to wash, being it was the closest arm to him.

He took my arm and carefully caressed it with the rag, spreading bubbles along my skin. I looked at his hand, then back to his face, surprised. His delayed gaze met my own, and he grinned wider, seemingly reading my mind.

"See what happens when you're obedient? You are rewarded with gentleness."

I closed my agape mouth and looked away from him.

"Other arm."

There was silence all the way until he reached my torso, still crushing my pride.

"Sai?"

I alerted my attention to him.

"Do you remember my name?" he asked.

I timidly shook my head.

"No? I find that hard to believe. We met at that nightclub so many times before. Are you sure you're not playing with me?"

I nodded, feeling shamed about remembering his face, but not his name.

He moved the rag down to my lower body, making me feel even more embarrassed.

"My name is Lance."

Lance...

I've heard that name before...

Then again, I've heard countless names over the ages...

"I'm still shocked you couldn't remember! ...Maybe you really were on something heavy.."

I avoided my gaze from him.

"Leg."

I lifted my left leg and he ran the rag across it, too.

A little while passed and after he was done with my backside, he told me to turn back over. I obeyed, and he stopped and looked at me, staring a hole through me. Paralyzed, I stared back.

"...You're thirsty, aren't you?"

I timidly nodded, not knowing how to respond. I never had much of a need for water.

"Well, you can drink the shower water. It's clean enough."

Lance took the shower head off the stand again and aimed the water at me, washing off the soap. After getting the soap off my body, he rinsed my hair. After that, he pulled away, water still running down my body.

"How come you didn't drink any water? Is your throat really that sore?"

I shamefully nodded my head at that, too.

Lance huffed, turning the water off and put the head back on its stand.

"...Stupid." he chuckled.

Lance took a brush from a rack by the door and sat on the stool next to the tub. He took the brush to my hair and gently started brushing it. There was a few moments of silence before Lance broke it again.

"Your teeth."

I darted my eyes to him. His own were on my lips, then to mine.

"They're pretty sharp and your skin is pale. Your eyes are very- captivating with their red colour. You resemble a vampire. Are you a vampire?" he asked, except, it wasn't a question. He expected a certain answer.

I hesitated for a split second, frozen in time by his pressing gaze. Then, I nodded my head.

Lance smiled in satisfaction at my correct answer.
