I walked into my office and sat down, remembering the highlights of the night before.
My favourite part was when Kai had accidentally flung his fork into the water:
"What are you doing?" I asked as I watched Kai try to make a cannonball with his spoon and fork.
"I already told you — I'm trying to make a—" he paused as the fork went flying into the water.
"No!" He cried as he stood up and tried to grab the fork.
He leant over the edge and lost his balance, falling in and making a large splash, making me and my food freezing cold.
I laughed at the small memory. Kai is such a clown.
I sighed as I returned to reality and grabbed the booklet of papers.
I had to look at the leaders of the new pack and the Warriors, trackers and patrol. Then I had to approve and send it back to them so their pack could move in next to us.
It started at the patrol, then the trackers. I gradually made my way up the list until reaching the gamma female.
Grace Lair; gamma female; age 22; Mate is Dylan Ryles.
Dylan Ryles; gamma; age 23; Mate is Grace Lair.
Milla Fray; beta female; age 22; Mate is Nate Lair.
Nate Lair; beta; age 22; Mate is Milla Fray.
I stopped, noticing how there was no Luna, then continued.
Jaye Vixon; alpha; age 26; mateless.
He's mateless, Paige. It might be him!! The moon goddess hasn't forgotten us!! May howls excitedly.
Wait, wolfy. We don't know if he's our mate or not, I reminded her.
Although I hope he is, I quickly added, mentally laughing.
Well, there's only one way to find out, she said, and I new exactly what she was talking about.

I looked at the two separate stamps.
One could unite me with my mate, if it was him; 'Accepted', but one could separate me possibly from him forever; 'Declined'. I decided to go for the first one.
I picked up the large red stamp and pressed it down against the paper.
After a few seconds I removed the stamp and put it away. I looked at the big, red, bold word in front of me. It may change my life. It may help me find my mate.
I grabbed a pen and pressed it against the paper, signing it.
Alpha Paige Edwards.
I stood up and grabbed the papers, shoved them in an envelope and wrote down the address to the Alpha of the Moon Shadow Pack, then sealed it securely.
Taking my jacket and beanie off the hat rack, I started to jog down the stairs and to the pack garage.
"I'm going to the post office," I say as I pass Amber on the way.
"Okay," She nods, then leaves to go inside. I get into my black SUV and pull the keys out of my pocket.
Time for a drive.

Words I Left Unsaid
"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
