《Tooth And Claw || Kellic (mpreg) ✔》Chapter 27

The sound of something crashing in the front room is what awoke me. Sitting up in bed, I see Vic in his wolf form growling at the door. Looking over towards our pups, I see them all sitting up in their crib, whimpering slightly. I quickly get out of bed and go over to them, and attempt to shush them, but they still kept whimpering.
"Darlings, it's okay." I say, picking each of them up and bringing them over to Vic and I's bed. Once I've got them all on the bed with me, they move closer to me, and Ashery hides under the blankets, as her brothers climb onto my lap and whimper up at me.
"Vic!" I call over to him, as I try and calm down the three one month old pups. "Vic!" I call again as he doesn't seem to hear me. "Vic. What the hell is going on?" I ask once he finally turns around to look at me. He shakes out his fur before walking over to me and our pups. "We've gotta get out of here." He says quickly, before turning back to the door as it opens, but relaxes a little as it's just Mike, Tony and Jaime.
"What's going on?" I ask, looking over at Mike, Tony and Jaime as they shut the door behind them. Tony runs over to me and helps me try and calm the pups down. "The Cematos that's what." Jaime says, and at that, my blood ran cold. "Th-the Cematos?" I choke out. They all nod, and I hold Ryker, Tate and Ashery closer to me.
This can't be happening! Not now! I notice Jaime and Mike run over to the closet and grab out three large bags and they start chucking all Vic and I's stuff into the bags, along with the pups stuff in the bags. I quickly get out of bed, getting changed into the clothes that Mike chucked at me, before I picked up Ashery and Tate, and Tony picked up Ryker.
"Are the Cematos here now?" I ask nervously, looking between Mike, Tony, Jaime and Vic with wide, frightened eyes, my tail flicking behind me in alarm and my kitten ears drawn back. Jaime shakes his head. "They're not here yet." He says. "But we've gotta get you and your pups out of here, along with Alan and his pup."
I nod quickly, as I follow them out of the room quickly and out the back way of the house where I see a van parked. The others are standing out there, piling bags into the back of the van. I notice Alan already sitting in the van, holding Nala close to him. I follow them over to the van, and I climb in and sit next to Alan. Tony follows me in and places Ryker on my lap, and I hold him close to me along with Tate and Ashery.

Looking over at Alan, I see that he looks just as scared as I do. Alan and I will be dead for sure when the Cematos get here. I jump slightly as the van moves slightly, and I look to my side to see Vic standing next to me, still in his wolf form.
He rubs up against my side, most likely trying to reassure me that everything's going to be okay. "I'm going to stay back with the others while you go with Alan, Merton, Tommy and Hannah." He says, rubbing his nose against my cheek. "I promise you we'll all make it back safe."
I nod, before wrapping an arm round his neck as much as I can, hugging him tightly, while still holding onto our three pups. Which I have to say is rather difficult, the pups aren't exactly small especially Ryker.
Eventually, I pull away from Vic, and he licks each of the pups heads, before jumping out of the van and over to the others. The other wolves have already changed into their wolf forms, and were pacing back and forth anxiously.
Once everything that was needed was chucked into the back of the van, Tommy shut the end door, and he and Merton jumped into the front of the van, while Hannah slipped into the back of the van with Alan, the pups and I. She shut the door behind her, and Tommy started up the van, before we're driving off, away from the others as they paced round the field in their forms - well, all of them in their forms except for Tay, Jenna, Oli and Josh that is.
Holding my pups close to me, I screw my eyes shut and hope like hell that everything's going to turn out alright. I can't lose Vic. Our pups can't lose their father. Nala can't lose her father Austin either. Everything has to turn out alright. We can't have anyone dying.
After what felt like hours, Tate, Ryker and Ashery had finally calmed down, and were now all asleep on my lap. Well, really Ashery was on my lap. Tate and Ryker were more on the seat of the car, and resting against my legs. Ryker was kinda laying half on Hannah too, but she didn't seem to mind, and Tate was kinda half on Alan, and he didn't seem to mind either.
I look over at Nala, who was asleep in Alan's arms, her bright ginger hair falling into her face. Nala has only really been in her wolf pup form when she's playing with Ashery, Tate and Ryker lately, I'm guessing she wants to be like her parents and be in her human form a lot or something.

"You okay Kellin?" Hannah asks, placing a hand on my shoulder, while keeping her other arm round Ryker as much as she can to make sure he doesn't slip off the seat.
I sigh. "Not really." I say quietly. "What if the others get killed?" I whimper, looking over at her. "Tate, Ryker and Ashery can't live without their father." I say. "That's if, they aren't killed before they even get a chance to grow up." I choke out, looking down at all three of my pups. All of them deserve a chance at life. It's not their fault that they're hybrids. Just like it's not Nala's fault that she's a hybrid. And, I guess it's also not anyone's fault if their soulmate isn't the same creature as them.
After awhile, I find myself drifting off to sleep. But, my dreams are clouded over with worry. Worry about what's going to happen after this. Will the Cematos eventually find us and kill us all? Or, will we be able to reason with them, prove to them that not all hybrids are dangerous?
We're all at some safehouse right now, and have been here for a few hours already. But, there's still no sign of the others. Which has me extremely worried. What if the Cematos has killed them all? What if the Cematos are coming after us now? We don't have much protection! All we have is Tommy and Hannah. And, Merton isn't really much help in protection, considering he's human. All the rest of the wolves stayed behind at the other house.
Looking up, I notice Merton walking over to me with food. He sets it down next to me and I start eating, while casting glances every so often at my pups as they slept huddled up together on some dog bed the humans use for their dogs. I never thought I'd let them sleep in something that humans use for their dogs to sleep in, but the three of them seem to like the dog bed a lot, so I'm letting it slide for now.
Once I'm finished eating, I sit back on the couch, drawing my knees up to my chest and hugging my legs close to me. I've just got to convince myself that the others will be okay, and that they're all on their way here now. Vic promised me he and the others will get here safe and alive. They've just got to be alright. They have to. I honestly don't know what I'd do without Vic.
When you love someone as much as I love Vic, and there's a chance that they might die, it's a terrible feeing. I don't want to hear the news that Vic's dead. I feel as if when the others get here and Vic's not with them, and once they tell me Vic's dead, I might not be able to function properly. I need Vic here safe and sound, but our pups need him even more.
I let my mind wander as I just sit on the couch, staring out the window. I wasn't thinking about anything in particular, I was just really staring out the window more than anything. But, my mind kept drifting over different scenarios where Vic and our pups would die at the hands of the Cematos. It made the tears fall from my eyes. And, I let them fall.
I don't care about the tears that are starting to fall anyway. It's good to cry every once in awhile. To let your emotions take over. Then once you've let it all out, you eventually begin to feel a little better. At least, in my experience that is. Some guys, human or not, find it unmanly to cry. But, crying doesn't make you any less of a man. Though, to be honest, I'm probably not really much of a man in some ways.
My ears perked up as I heard the sound of feet thumping on the ground outside, and I sat up. Just off in the distance I could see a small pack of wolves running over to the safehouse. They've come back safely. But, that didn't stop my heartbeat from racing the slightest.
And that's because, I couldn't spot Vic's familiar brown-and-white coat amongst the other wolves coats.

A Broken World [Rewrite]
In a world of floating islands of stone in the sky, where rivers flow through the air and defy gravity from one island to another, and ancient ruins can be found containing wonders beyond what can be produced by the lands current inhabitants- a millenia long war rages. In the distant past, beyond recorded history, when the crown of humanity's glory, the city of Uri, had stood whole against the enroaching demon swarms- even as hope seemed lost, a band of heroes, against all odds, managed to steal powerful magical knowledge from the demons. With the demon's forbidden knowledge, in the heart of Uri a new ritual was made. Called, "The Millenial Summoning," the ritual had the power to call a being from another world that would have the power to change the world forever. The first being summoned became known as "The Speaker," and he brought the power of the Gods to the world. With the blessings and power of the new priests, the unstoppable demon hordes were finally halted. A thousand years later, the ritual was used again and "The First Sorceress" was brought to the world. She brought the knowledge of advanced magics, and techniques to find and refine magical talent. With the magic power now added to the battlefield, the stalemate was broken. And for the first time, the demons were pushed back. Another thousand years later, and all of humanites hope for a final victory were dashed. Traitors slew the ritual's participants and took their places, and humanity quaked as The Demon King stepped into the world. His name, his nature, where he came from none of these are known, but what is known is his overwhelming power and his brilliant strategic leadership of the formerly formless hordes. Still, despite their position being even more dire than it has ever been since history has been recorded, humanity held on for another thousand years. Aided, thankfully, by The Demon King not taking the field after the first few years and battles. Now, the ritual is being cast again and a new hero is being summoned. In our world, after nearly three decades of study and hard work, Lucas Jaeger is making his dreams come true. With a double doctorate in both genetics and microbiology, as well as an associates degree in accounting, he has finally, after nearly driving himself mad from stress and sick from overwork, been able to put to together a presentation and ask for a business loan. His long time dream, earned by his own blood and sweat, to start his own commercial genetic company is finally coming to fruition. Lucas's car never left the banks parking lot and Lucas was never seen again in our world. This is a rewrite of "A Broken World." It is basically the same story, just a thousand times better and with decent length chapters!
