《The Sun of the Desert》Chapter 3 - A busy day

Sun sipped on her tea and tore her gaze away from the door toward her paperwork.
“Anything else on your report?”
“Lady Jin sent words. There is a ‘merchant’ that would like to meet you.”
Sun frowned and looked displeased. Those who knew of Lady Jin were few.
Meyrin continued, “It’s a gentleman by the name of Blackwood. According to Lady Jin, he has no visible tattoo, so he’s not from Ramlad nor Daglär. He first went to the Tea House and paid double for Miss Sharea. He then asked to see Lady Jin to talk business. He had to come several times before Lady Jin accepted to meet him.”
“What kind of business does he have?”
“Drugs. He has rainbow powder, but he also has a newly developed drug and would like to have a contract with the Tea House. Lady Jin told him she would send word to the Boss. He offered samples and said he will participate in the Night Market.”
“Do you have them?”
Meyrin shook his head, “It should be there tomorrow.” Sun nodded and Meyrin went on, “Half of the sample stayed with Lady Jin for tests, we should have a complete report in a week or two.”
“Give him a VIP pass for the Night Market. Investigate the man. I want to know everything, where he is based, his partners, who finance him, his enemies. Investigate that new drug of his too. Did he contact anyone about it before Lady Jin? If so, I want to know who and how much they made their deal.”
“I understand. Next, the Moonlight Festival, this…”
“Aaaargh! I don’t want to hear, talk or have anything to do with it.” Sun covered her ears and closed her eyes. “If you dare mention that damn wrench, I will definitely shut myself for a couple of days!”
Meyrin sighed, “How childish! Alright, alright! I’m done with all the serious and boring stuff. By the way, ships will begin to dock at sunset, so it’s going to be busy. Don’t go overboard, some people need to sleep at night because they have to work in the morning!”
“You are so overreacting! Your room is soundproof!” complained Sun as she walked toward him
Meyrin rolled their eyes, “I was talking about you!”
“You should loose yourself from time to time. It would make you less grumpy.” She flirted with him, her hand caressed their forearm.

Meyrin slapped the hand away, “I’m fine, thank you. I choose my partner with more taste.”
“Ooh, don’t slap me. Are you trying to make me horny?” Sun laughed.
Meyrin rolled their eyes, shook their head and left.
Sun’s voice echoed, “I have toys too if you need!” She heard a grunt and laughed harder. She loved teasing them. Their face remained without expression, but the tip of their ears would never fail to turn bright red. She left the office and steered herself toward the kitchen with her dirty dishes.
She greeted the staff as she walked, she avoided Mama Lin and safely dropped her load. She went into the basement to her workshop to work on her blueprints. They didn’t progress much that day, because she kept on getting distracted, she gave up on her blueprints and started to work on a new gun she was developing.
She thought that if she kept her hands busy, she would keep her mind busy too. It works for a couple of hours until a wrong dose of gunpowder exploded. She finally gave up and left the room in frustration.
The restaurant was quiet for lunch and it was almost nap time. Sun stepped in the garden and strode through to her small personal nap pergola. The pergola was partially hidden from view and well in the shade. It was cooling to sleep here in hot days, the ruffling leaves were like a faint lullaby. She laid down on a bed made of numerous soft pillows, her eyes fixed in a daze on the leaves.
A rhythmic toll of silver bells traveled to her.
“Neya*? Are you sleeping?” A cute head full of black hair and grey eyes slid between the branches. (neya: big sister)
“Little kitty! When did you get back?” Sun smiled.
A cute girl sauntered to her with a blinding smile. Her long hair was braided into pigtails, her dark golden skin was lustrous like a black pearl and her white teeth were grinning widely. Even though she was petite, the girl was full of curves and the size of her breasts was astonishing. She was dressed in a traditional silk rainbow coloured attire which framed her boobs perfectly for most to enjoy. She had silver cuffs that looked way too heavy for a thin wrist. She skipped her way to Sun who began to frown and jumped straight on the bed.

“Just got back. Missed me?” Leila asked with laughter. Her boobs bounced up and down as she spoke and laughed.
“You!” Sun groped the breasts with force and squeezed them hard. “Aren’t you tired of those useless pockets of fat?” She ignored the barely suppressed moans and directly bite a nipple through the fabric. “Always prancing about with those big boobs of yours, are you mocking me for not having enough?” She buried her head in without any gentleness to vent her build-up frustration of the day.
Leila’s chest was bouncing hard, she gripped Sun’s long red hair to support herself as she panted. Leila moaned and groaned, tension gathered in her body and soon, she was brought close the edge. However, everything stopped suddenly. She was floating high a second and the next, she was back on solid ground feeling unsatisfied. She shook Sun’s head while complaining, “Why did you stop?”
Sun snorted, “As if I will let you get off with those twin monsters!” She smacked the girl’s ass. “So, how was your mission?”
Leila gave her a hateful glare, “Flawlessly boring! The trip through the mountains was boring, the cold was annoying and the worse was the people from Daglär! They are so BORING!! Did you know that they only sleep with their Olwen?”
Sun chased her down the bed, “Of course, I knew. Why do you think I send you there? Our country’s culture is unique. Outside, when someone meets their Olwen, their soul-mates, they stay exclusively together until they die. Sure, you’ll find some who would have an affair when they visit Ramlad, but they are not like us. We are the only one who still sees other people after taking our vows with our soul-mates.”
Leila yelled, “You did it on purpose!? How mean!”
“Serve you right! Take it as divine punishment for having such outrageous boobs!” Sun dismissed her with a wave of her hand, “Now, go away, I want to take a nap.” She shut her eyes tight.
“You!” Leila was about to swear when someone behind called her.
“Leila’ne*, you are disturbing everyone’s rest time.” Another cute girl who looked exactly like her appeared. The only way to tell them apart was by the size of their chests. ('ne: short version of neya)
Sun’s eyes flew open, she opened her arms wide to welcome the newcomer, “Laya-mira*” The girl threw herself in and snuggled in. Sun breathed in her scent in delight, “I missed you! How was your trip? Did you have fun? Was anyone mean to you? Tell me and I will kill him for you!” The girl giggled. ('mira: affectionate term, sweetheart, darling)
Leila was pissed, “That’s unfair!” The difference in attitude was way too different. She puffed and left with a belly full of complaints.
Sun and Laya were chatting with animation on the bed while Sun was gently caressing her ass.
“Do you know the latest trend in the Capital? They made a new type of piercing, you can choose the scent it has. It’s really popular and pleasant. I got myself one.” Laya licked her lips, grabbed Sun’s hand and put it between her legs. She whispered while looking a bit bashful, “I heard even the taste change.”
“Oh. Rumours cannot be believed blindly. You should always fact check before announcing things.” Sun nibbled on her neck, “Should neya* help you check out this rumours?”
Layla moaned, “Please, I want to learn.” Seeing Sun getting ready to rise from the bed, Layla smiled and pushed her back. “I don’t want to disturb neya in her rest. May I sit?”
Sun kissed her, “How can I refuse a beauty?”
Layla mouthed ‘womaniser’, moved her body up, partied the pan of her silk dress and delicately sat on Sun’s face. A small cold and peach scented ball touched Sun’s nose. She nuzzled it and Layla jolted. Layla’s hip rocked back and forth in a slow rhythm and each time, Sun’s tongue would enter her, she would shudder. The two were in their own little world, hidden in the small pergola. Layla’s back arched and tensed like a bow ready to release.
Out of nowhere, however, the commanding voice of Mama Lin echoed, “Sun child!”
When the two heard the voice, they couldn’t help letting an upset grunt. Sun’s reappeared and shouted, “What is it? I’m busy.”
“Eli is in trouble.” Mama Lin said, then turned around and left.
Sun rolled her eyes and grumbled for a second before gently guiding Laya down. She quickly kissed her and whispered before hurrying out, “We’ll finish that later. Wait for me tonight.”
