There, on the corner of the island... I- no, we found a ship other than us! A metal ship!
When I looked at the windows, I finally saw that the last fighter plane already landed back on the flight deck and turned toward Hosho.
“Hosho come with me.” When I see her bowing, I fastened my walking speed and move to the flight deck.
Around the way, there are chat windows appearing from Aldebaran and Benstar.
「Aldebaran: Commander, do you think you should give us the explanation?」
「Benstar: We saw the planes rushing back you know? There must be something right? ヽ(`Д´)ノ 」
I troubled to answer but let give them what I know.
「Aldebaran: Commander, do you think you should give us the explanation?」
「Benstar: We saw the planes rushing back you know? There must be something right? ヽ(`Д´)ノ 」
「Keita: We found a huge ship. I believe it was Battleship class.」
After that, I suddenly feel a strong wind and almost fall. Sighed in relief, I noticed that we are arrived on the flight deck and saw Hibiki coming out from the plane cockpit. She’s still wearing the helmet and on the way to take it off, however, when she saw my and Hosho figures and ended saluting.
Before I calling her out, My vision was spammed by Aldebaran and Benstar which troubled me. The heck! I cannot see anything!
Turning to my side where I think Hosho is, I ask her to receive the report from Hibiki. I could hear her giggle and ‘Yes, Admiral.’ Before she walking. Now then, why did they keep spamming me?
「Aldebaran: Battleships? Which one!?」
「Benstar: Yamato? Nagato? Fuso? Kongo? (#゚Д゚)」
「Aldebaran: NO, why it have to be Japanese ships? I believe it was American, or German?」

「Benstar: Bismarck? Iowa? Montana? Tirpitz? Or what?? Σ(=ω= ; ) 」
「Aldebaran: There are too many speculations… But, this make my blood boil!」
「Benstar: Yeah, there is no real Battleships in modern days… How it will be! I want to see it! (*´>д
「Aldebaran: Maybe they are like us? Stranded in this unknown land! We can exchange information too.」
「Benstar: Commander, don’t you hide away! Come here! ヽ(`Д´)ノ 」
「Aldebaran: Where are you, Commander!!」
The Heck! Are they spamming me for only this? Can you cannot be too excited? It scares me… I sighed and joined the chat.
「Benstar: Commander, don’t you hide away! Come here! ヽ(`Д´)ノ 」
「Aldebaran: Where are you, Commander!!」
「Keita: Am here. And for your information, it isn’t battleship with too high tier…」
Before long another spam appeared.
「Benstar: Not higher tier? Ah, right we do playing the medium grade tier, right? At least till tier 6? (`∇´)ψ 」
「Aldebaran: What? So, are you sure that the ship appears like us? A player?」
「Benstar: I don’t care about that Aldebaran… I need to know, which ship it is! ヽ(`Д´)ノ 」
「Aldebaran: LET US WAIT FOR THE EXPLANATION! 」
‘…’ They sure are excited. And Benstar’s emoticon is increasing in type… Aldebaran, how did you use the capital word? *Cough*
「Benstar: I don’t care about that, Aldebaran… I need to know, which ship it is! ヽ(`Д´)ノ 」
「Aldebaran: LET US WAIT FOR THE EXPLANATION! 」
「Keita: Well, sorry to break your expectation. I don’t quite know about the ship too much, but all I know is the gun is bigger and the body is larger. It is Battleship right?」
Not long after I appear on chat windows, they already started to spam me again.
「Aldebaran: The Heck! Did you boast to us that you liked to build ship papercraft? Your word is contradicting! 」

「Benstar: Woah, Commander! You let us down! How did you appear without the main information? ヽ(`Д´)ノ 」
「Aldebaran: So what!? He should go back, and give us the real information! And are you lying about your hobby!?」
「Benstar: No, commander really does like ship papercraft. He usually comes to my home to borrow the printer… But what he creates only Hosho and few destroyer ships… (`∇´)ψ 」
What the feck! Can you not badmouthing me right in front of me! The ship condition is bad from afar, there is no flag on it, so how do I recognize it! And about papercraft, do you think it is easy to finish one battleship papercraft! I have been suffered from their small weapon armament, so what if I liked to craft the simple one! (*´>д
*Cough* I calmed my heart and make sure to endure the anger and turned toward Hosho, however without I notice she already standing right in front of me with Hibiki which surprised me.
“Admiral, Hibiki wanted to report what she found herself. It’s about the Battleship which docked on the corner of the island.”
Hosho speaking in a small voice like she troubled about something, Hibiki beside her also looked nervous. Hm? What is going on?

MeiQ: Lore of the Labyrinth
Omaros City lays near one of several Yggdrasil trees that are scattered around the world. Each tree holds an entire labyrinthine ecosystem within or beneath it, yet the mysteries of their origins and what lays in their depths are only ever unraveled by the most skilled and courageous of explorers. Exploration of Omaros' Yggdrasil labyrinth is still in its fledgling stages, drawing in many with the allure of fame and glory that has yet to be claimed. Enter the harbinger Dubhan—cheerful, determined, and not terribly skilled at thinking ahead—and warlock Allouet— intelligent and resourceful, but desperately in over his head. Together, the two of them have half an idea of what they're doing at best, but that's not going to stop them from aiming for the labyrinth's unknown depths. MeiQ is, at its core, a fanfiction inspired by the Etrian Odyssey franchise, alternatively known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan. Despite that, it is written with the intent to be enjoyable by those unfamiliar with the series as well. The characters and the city of Omaros are original, while the story draws upon lore and recurring concepts from the game series. However, Etrian Odyssey is known for its lore being sparse and open to speculation, so much of the details provided in this story are exactly that—a fan’s speculation and personal expansion of the lore. This story was also inspired by and written as part of HereBeTreasure's Fast Food Frontpage Competition, enjoy some simple dungeon exploration plot and whatever else pops up from this.
