After that night, mom and I went home. I visited Kuro on her room, looks like she was already asleep that time.

I went back to my room, to think about things. I sat on my chair, at the place where I've first seen Kuro.

I can't believe what's happening right now. Well, I should've said it the first time Kuro told me she was a demon.

But, dad... he's an angel... and not just any angel, he's the 'morning star', whom closest to God in ancient times.

AHHH but it's all right, everything will be all right.

But, if I keep on pushing away my dad, he will may never come back in our house again. I... honestly... I want him to come back... but I also want to tell him those things so that he can feel the pain I had felt when he disappeared.

I also need to stop closing myself to my family, I should start opening more to mom and my siblings. Because one day or another, I maybe can never see them again.

"SHIROOO-KUUUUUN! IT'S ALREADY MORNIIIIING! WAKE UP ALREADY!"

I was startled, I woke up and panted like it's the end of the world. As I turn around, I saw her pouting and giving me angered looks.

She was so cute. I just want to cuddle her and rest myself on those chests. Oh btw, she's got normal chest, and I love normal chests.

"Shiro-kun is stupid… I am waking you up but you just can't stop dreaming! You were grinning also! What is it you're dreaming huh!?" she said while holding my shirt like a gangster.

"I-I was dreaming about you." I said.

Kuro's face then suddenly blushed as she stopped holding my neck, she sat down at where she was first sitting and there she looked like a pure maiden, damn I wish I have some kind of recorder here so that I can record this and show it to her when we marry.

"W-What are you dreaming of Shiro-kun…?" she said shyly.

DAAAAMN YOU'RE MELTING MY HEART! STOOOOOP!

"A-Actually not a good one, but I heard your voice calling my name, and then-"

She holds my shirt again and looked at me with angry eyes, and she started shaking me again.

"THAT'S ME WHEN I'M WAKING YOU UP IDIOT!"

Ah, I guess she's got many different personalities.

The bossy one, on where you should start following what she says, like on that time when we first met, she insisted that I should go to school like that, the second, the innocent one, like any other girl I knew she had something like this, she's still innocent after all those years of living.

I stopped her hand from shaking me and held both her hands, I looked at her with worried eyes, she looks at me too, but she's not staring, just taking a glance from time to time, her cheeks were red too, but I held her hand tightly and ask,

As I said that I saw myself on the ground, lying with dirt everywhere.

I forgot to close my window, that would explain why is it so cold last night.

After that, Kuro said sorry to me, of course forgave her, I was on the wrong that time.

Anyways, last night I decided that I will be more open to them, so this morning, I'll try to eat breakfast with them, with Kuro.

"Midori! Kuma! Wake up now! Your brother is waiting for you!" I could swear mom said I'm waiting for them.

But yeah, I wouldn't want to eat breakfast just by myself and Kuro. I'd like to talk to them too, hehe.

As I said that to myself, I heard the footsteps coming from the second floor, it was mom and my siblings.

"B-Brother is waiting for us?" Midori said.

As she came downstairs, the first thing that I saw is her long green curly hair.

"Whoa, brother is so handsome!"

AIN'T I!? I LIKE THIS LITTLE MAN!

Kuma said to mom. He's got blonde hair, I see it's curling up because of just waking up. He's also smaller than Midori, they are real brothers and sisters.

While me, the eldest one, can't accept them until now.

I'm not a good brother, am I?

But even so, I will accept them, as my real sister and brother.

"Good morning, Midori. Good morning, Kuma. Come now, let's eat."

I told them with a smile.

Kuma smiled at me back and rushed towards me, he hugged me.

"I thought I would never get to talk to brother like this again. I am so happy." He said while looking at me.

"Sorry, Kuma. Brother had many problems, it's up until now that I realized, I shouldn't involve you in my problems. Because you didn't do anything to me right? It's my own problem so, why am I not talking to you and Midori too?" I asked him.

But he didn't understand any of it so he just nodded. What a naughty kid.

Midori comes closer to me too, she smiled and said, "Good morning too, brother! I'm large now, look!"

Wait, why large? Are you a cloth or something Midori-chan?

"Ah, haha you really are. Also, it's 'big' not 'large' okay?" I said while patting her head.

"Now, now. Let's eat our food now before they get cold." Mom said with a smile on her face.

I see she is happy for us, thankfully.

So, Kuma let me go and sat beside me, at my left side Kuro is sitting, it is a round table.

Across is Midori, and right beside Kuma is where mom is sitting.

There's an empty space at the left side of Kuro.

I remembered him, when will he be back?

Ah, forget him. Maybe he's busy.

So, we ate our food and tell our goodbyes, "We will be going now!" We both said.

"Take care~!" They replied.

Kuro said she can teleport last time, but I want her not to get accustomed to that, she said she wanted to be like a human too, so we walked.

This time, we're not late so we can take our time walking.

While walking, I asked her about various things.

"Hey Kuro, is every demon as strong as you?"

She replied, "No, I'm quite strong myself, I will be honest, I'm a general of a demon army."

WHAT!? SHE'S A GENERAL? Now wonder why she's so strong even if she faced two strong opponents last time.

"It's been thousands of years since I had my last fight with asmoriths, so I'm still getting used to it again. Back when I was in hell, my master left me his whole army, so I had to govern them all. I let out a sigh, and smiled at her.

"You're really full of surprises, Kuro. I'm glad you are my girlfriend, my life will surely become an interesting one, because of you."

I said that to her, and her face blushed, she averted her gaze and replied,

"M-Me too..."

After that, I held her left hand and we walked to the station. She smiled at me, and we went to the school.

At school, everything's pretty normal.

"Okay, sit down everyone, I will announce something." Teacher Shizu said.

Then we all sat down, and she started talking.

"As you all may know, tomorrow all of us teachers will go to an event outside the school, so everyone will take a one-day break tomorrow."

My classmates shouted, "Yeah! Another time to play video games!" And like that.

After school I plan on taking her with me on a cafe, but it seems like it will be happening tomorrow. We will have a whole day of break so it means longer time to go out.

So the classes has ended, and we go back home.

While walking towards the station, I told Kuro to stop for a moment and wait for me.

I saw a store that sells accessories, I figured it is a good time tomorrow to give something to her, so I told her to wait.

But there is a ring that's piques my interest, there is a ring that is just like Kuro's eyes.

It has a red gem on it, it may be small but I think that will be enough for us right now.

So, I bought it with the money that I have, I intended to buy new games for that money, but I forgot about it, as I was thinking about Kuro.

"Sorry for waiting, let's go now." I told her.

Then we walked, and we rode the train, it's pretty crowded, maybe because it's rush hour, so Kuro and I are so close to each other.

Kuro's height is small, her head is as high as my shoulder, and that makes her cute.

As the train gets tighter and tighter, so is her grip on my chest. It made my heart beat so fast, as I could feel her breath in my chest, her head leaning on it, and her body so close to mine.

This may be weird but I am getting turned on by just that, I see that her face is blushing too.

"Hey, are you okay? Your face is blushing red, what happened?" I asked to tease her, but I already know that it is because she's embarrassed.

But she didn't answer, she's breathing so fast, and her breath is hot, does she have some kind of fever!?

I stopped on holding the bars and held her face, I put my forehead unto hers, "You have a fever, Kuro." I told her.

She's getting tired. Maybe because of the crowd.

Oh, I remembered something.

She waited for me to wake up last day right? That's like, four to three hours. I don't know, maybe not because of that but that's the only possible explanation right now.

So, after we rode the train, I carried her like a princess towards our house.

I should've went to the gym…

I even barely made it to home!

I was panting so much because she's so heavy, with that height, that's not normal.

I told mom to take care of her, as I am a boy and I don't know how to take care of people when they are sick.

I went back to my room, and talked to myself.

"Ah, it's a waste. But at the same time, a good time too. Kuro will have some time to rest."

But I really wanted to go on a date with her, but I guess there's no choice, I have to wait for 2 days.

Tomorrow is Wednesday, and it's a break, so two days before Saturday.

Ah, let's just play some games.

Though I said that, but I fell asleep right after playing one game.

When I wake up, it was still early in the morning, 6:20 in the clock, so I go to Kuro's room to check on her.

Her fever is still high, I think she wouldn't be able to go out this day.

I held her cheeks, and I kissed it.

"Get well soon, because we'll have our first date when you got better, okay?"

I said that to her, but I'm confused, could demons have a fever? Aren't they stronger beings than humans?

Then that means, that her fever isn't a normal one, she can't even talk to us properly, that means someone gave her a fever, someone.

But maybe, it's just a normal fever.

We don't know so there's no point in jumping to conclusions.

What should I do today?

I left Kuro's room, and I went outside the house.

I figured it's a good time to go and see some places, the sun is still not rising, so it's a bit cold.

So, I went to the place where it is good to be at this time in the morning, the shore.

When I asked mom about dad, she only told me that he is Lucifer, she didn’t tell me anything except that.

Well, maybe she would’ve, but I didn’t believe her. I'm so stupid, ain't I?

Ah, look at this view. As I walk towards the shore, I saw the bright, beautiful sky. It was blue at the top, but at the bottom, it is starting to become orange-ish because of the sun.

Now maybe you’re asking yourself, how did I know about this place, when I was just a shut-in otaku?

Well, dad told me. That this place is where she met my mother. It was beautiful to see, just like mom.

He told me many years ago before he left about this place. He would always brag about how beautiful it is, and now that I see it, I can finally say that he’s right.

As I said that, the sun slowly rises and covered all the blue sky above, turning it into a splendid view, that even an angel like Lucifer, was amazed.

But after seeing it for a few seconds, I heard someone say something at my back.

“He’s not coming back.”

Eh? Who’s that?

As I turn around, I saw a girl. I think she was at the same height as Kuro. She has a blonde hair, and red eyes. She’s wearing my school’s uniform, but I didn’t know who she was.

That was when…

“Haa... haaaaa...HAAAAHH… HAAAA!!!”

I felt intense pain in my chest, it feels like something is tearing my chest apart.

I am feeling so scared, but there’s nothing around me that I should be scared off, even so I am so afraid that I want to just jump to the water, just to escape from that feeling.

My body feels so crumbled, I feel like I was being crushed by a giant rock.

I can’t stop screaming, I felt so much pain.

It was when she, the girl who told me that my dad's not coming back went to where am I.

When I looked up, I saw her smiling.

“W-Who are you…?” I said.

She smiled, I now know where is that fear coming from, it was from her.

My chest can’t handle the fear, that’s why it feels like it is tearing apart.

She put her face right into my head, and she whispered something in my ear.

“I am Sanata, the demon lord.”

“SHIRO-KUN!”
