Mayako stared eye to eye with the Elder Council operative, he had a smirk on his face that got under her skin "So, your the fox the Elder Council wants" the cat spirit looked Mayako up and down he whistled "Its a shame I've gotta drag you in, your kinda hot" Mayako groaned in disgust, "How did you know where I was hiding, I hid my Spiritual Energy" the cat spirit chuckled. "Simple, I just used this" he pointed to his nose "I'm not one to boast but, I've got a good sense of smell" Mayako cursed "So, now that you found me what are you going to do?" the cat spirit scratched his chin, "Well, I guess I'm going to make you surrender, let be capture you, and bring you to the Elder Coucnil" Mayako gave a nervous grin "And what if I don't come along quietly?" the cat spirit grinned "I'll have to use force" he cracked his knuckles. "I figured.." Mayako started to sweat, she didn't want to fight this cat spirit he was too strong, she decided she had no other choice with sutble movement she looked for a way to start running "Don't think your going to run away" Mayako snapped back to the cat spirit who was grinning. Damn, he had figured her plan, but she had to still go through with it, "Well, nice meeting you, bye" Mayako ran off away from the cat spirit.
He sighed "I said not to run" Mayako looked back and saw the cat spirit was standing still, watching her get away, she gave a smirk "Did he give up?" in a split second he vanished, Mayako gasped, then she felt a leg trip her she crashed to the ground. Mayako heard a few tounge clicks, she looked up and saw the cat spirit he was right beside her, with a smirk on his face, "Told you not to run, you won't get far from me" Mayako glared at the cat spirit, she shot up off the ground and dashed away from him. "Now, if you please, come quietly" he put his hand out, Mayako shook her head "You'll have to drag me there when every bone in my body is broken!" Mayako had no other choice, if she couldn't run, she had to fight if she wanted to get away, even if she didn't want to. The cat spirit sighed "And I so hoped you would come quietly" the cat spirit cracked his neck and got into a fight stance "It's aganist my policy to beat on beautiful girls" Mayako clicked her tounge she hated being flirted with by the enemy.

Mayako got herself ready, she threw her duffle bag to the ground, she put her fists up, "Lets see what you got, fox" the cat spirit smirked Mayako grumbled, the cat spirit was waiting for her to make a move first so, she happily abliged him she rushed at him and started swinging her fists. The cat spirit chuckled, he nimbly dodges out of the way of each of her pucnhed Mayako then threw some kicks into her onslaught even with that, he was still able to dodge all her strikes Mayako grumbled in annoyance she then kicked up the tempo and started swinging and kicking harder and faster. The cat spirit chuckled, he somehow was still able to keep dodging Mayako gritted her teeth "Stay still!" the cat spirit grinned "If you wish" he stopped dry and Mayako all be it a little confused decided to take the chance and threw a fast and hard kick, she was shocked when the cat spirit stopped it with his arm. "That's all you got?" he tossed her leg away Mayako scowled and jumped back a bit, she wasn't going to beat him with sheer brute force, she had to use more, she closed her eyes and focused.
The cat spirit stood and watched, "What are you doing now?" Mayako didn't answer so he decided to just watched and waited, Mayako exhaled a breath an suddenly a blue aura formed around her, the cat spirit had an intrigued look on his face, Mayako opened her eyes and they were glowing like fire, this was one of the techiques Kurookami had taught her, Spiritual Cloak, it intailed using your Spiritual Energy to create a force field of sorts around you, it serviced as a sheild to reduce damage done and it could be used one other way, as an offensive attack. "Hope your ready" Mayako smirked "Ready when you are cutey" the cat spirit winked Mayako's eye twitched, she rushed at him, she started throwing punches again the cat spirit started dodging them again, "Is that just for show?" he commented Mayako smirked "No, it's not" she threw another punch, the cat spirit went to dodge when he did Mayako unleashed a burst of Spiritual Energy and it connected with the cat spirits cheek. The cat spirit had an almost amazed look on his face, Mayako jumped back as the cat spirit brought his leg up and was able to avoid a kick to the chin.

Mayako could see a small mark on the cat spirits face, she had just grazed him, the cat spirit touched it "Well, you surprised me with that one" he chuckled "I guess, I shouldn't play around anymore" he smirked Mayako felt a chill go down her spine, he was just playing around this whole time, Mayako was worried if her was this strong when messing around, how strong was he when he was serious. Her questioned was asked when she suddenly felt his Spiritual Energy spike up, she readied herself as she felt his Spiritual Energy keep rising it got to a point where Mayako started to sweat, her body was reacting to the output of Spiritual Energy. It was telling her to run, but, her mind told her there'd be no way she could get away she had to fight, then during that find an opening to run, Mayako had a plan, she just hoped it would go off without a hitch or, her dying. Faeos Book One: The Stuff of Legends
A ragtag assemblage of adventurers, scraped together by seeming circumstance, investigate the theft of an ecologically essential artifact. In so doing, they find themselves embroiled (as adventurers so often do) in the larger machinations of a mischevious gnome, a determined mage or three, and a dire threat to their homes. Based on a homebrew Pathfinder campaign begun several years ago, and still running. Faeos is one part combat, one part character building, and one part entirely justified silliness. Blame any lead character weirdnesses on my players, whom I love. Blame everything else on me. Oh, and yes, this should also be tagged "Unreliable Narrator."

Memoirs of an old traveler:First Rebirth
If life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Life sometimes gives you handouts and sometimes not, how would you take control of your life or would you let yourself be adrift on the sea. This is my story of rebirth, the start of a journey between the worlds. Will you take heart from the lessons I have learned or will you take without giving and continue the cycle? ___________________________________ A story with my take on reincarnation, expect somewhat of a more serious writing style but still a bit casual. I like to story build, to craft a universe, so don't expect quick action. Can be a bit of a heavy info read at times so if you don't like that best steer away. Chapters are expected to be at least 1 a week perhaps 2 a week depending on response and how much of an inspiration I get. Credits to multiple authors(too many to count/remember) of both web/light novels and the authors here on RRL for inspiration.
