《Wonderland: Origin Arc [Script]》2.9 - The Notebook

[It’s the next day at College, during the lunch break. The cafeteria is mostly empty, with a few people focused on their phones. The lights start to flicker in the room as, suddenly, an empty table is surrounded by Chelsea, Leigh, Vince and Liv holding Cheshire who all land on chairs. The pulse of air blows out and the lights start to settle again, the group looking quickly around the room.]
Chelsea: [worried] Anyone notice? Anything?
Leigh: [worried] I-I don’t think so? Um…
Liv: [worried] We’re fine? We’re fine. We’re fine!
[Liv chuckles nervously as Cheshire jumps onto the table and gets comfortable, curling up on the table.]
Vince: Right… well… nice job Chelsea.
Chelsea: [worried] Thank you.
[Vince gets comfortable in the seat, everyone else calming down. Liv looks around the cafeteria and sees Sissel coming over with a notebook.]
Liv: Um… hey, Chelsea, can you give me a hand with something quick?
Chelsea: Okay.
[Liv gets up with Chelsea.]
Leigh: Want us to come?
Liv: I just need Chelsea’s help quick.
Leigh: [confused] Okay then.
[Liv quickly walks off, Chelsea following after. Once Chelsea is out her chair, Sissel drops onto her seat and puts the book down on the table.]
Sissel: [loud] Right!
Vince: [surprised] Jesus, Cecil!
Sissel: Sorry, um…
[Goldberg appears behind Sissel.]
Goldberg: Take it slow, don’t stress yourself out.
[Sissel nods.]
Leigh: Something up, man? I thought you were-
Sissel: I am! Mostly, um… I found some stuff that I thought you guys should… definitely know.
[Sissel flicks the book open with a large variety of scribbled drawings and words, the word “Wonderland” being the most prominent and bold word across the sheet. Leigh and Vince look at the sheet, then at each other in confusion. Sissel runs his finger across the words, eventually settling on “YES”.]

Sissel: Right so, that hunch that the White Rabbit wants to kill us all is definitely true. If he’s seen us with powers and since you have a picture of the- the- the group! The… what’s their name!
[Goldberg leans down.]
Goldberg: Wonderland.
Sissel: [triumphant] Wonderland! Wonderland group, they killed people like… like us.
[Leigh nods.]
Leigh: [confused] How did you-
Sissel: [loud] Shut up, there’s more! Um…
[He runs his hand across the paper again.]
Vince: Sissel, calm down, you’re gonna make a scene.
Sissel: [loud] I am trying!
[He eventually lands his finger to point at the word “Sidekick”.]
Sissel: He has an accomplice, or he at least used to.
Leigh: [worried] What?
Sissel: I don’t know the name yet, nobody does, they just call themselves Alice and that’s what we have. There was also Hatter, Cheshire, Absolem or the Caterpillar who was Goldberg and… I think someone else, I can’t tell though.
Leigh: [worried] So… we’re fighting a team then?
Sissel: Yes you are!
[Sissel calms down.]
Sissel: Sorry.
[Sissel leans over the table, covering his face.]
Sissel: [worried] I’m sorry, I-I’m sorry but… look, I got us something, okay?
Leigh: [confused] Very useful, don’t worry but how the hell did you find any of this out?
[Sissel looks to Vince and Leigh, thinking.]
Goldberg: My computer. You took it.
Sissel: [quickly] I took Goldberg’s laptop.
Leigh: Y- you took his laptop.
Sissel: Yep. I- I had a chance, just snatched it.
Leigh: [surprised] Well can we see it?
Sissel: It’s at home. I can… I can bring it in later if you want?
Vince: Cecil, that’d help. A lot.
[Sissel gets up, quickly scrambling up the notebook.]
Sissel: I-I’ll do that. Um… do you know where Liv is? I need to talk to her.
Leigh: She just left.
Sissel: Where?
Leigh: I don’t know, just… left.
[Sissel nods slowly.]
Sissel: Okay…
[Sissel starts to walk away from the group, mumbling to himself.]
Leigh: What’s up with Sissel, he seems… I don’t know, he doesn’t seem right.
Vince: He’s just… the whole situation, it’s a lot. He’ll be fine. I think.
Leigh: I hope so.
[Vince sighs.]
Vince: [quietly] So do I...

Aggravated Defense (Progression LitRPG)
A quick TL;DR pitch. LitRPG Apocalypse with group progression, a non-overpowered mc, a limited skill-slot System where having a single skill over your opponent could make a big difference. A barrier mage mc who isn’t an Edgelord A sentient System that’s a character in its own right. And no harem or cheat skills. ~<>~<>~ Steven knew the world had ended when a great green and purple dome covered the city of Anchorage. Then things got weirder. First earthquakes, then bolts fell from the sky, changing and twisting the things they hit. Steven, stuck in the throes of apathy, had sought shelter out of boredom more than anything else. But when some fellow survivors are separated and trapped by a rampaging moose, an emotion breaks through his apathy. He can’t turn away. Some people say it’s everyone for themselves at the end of the world. Steven disagreed ~<>~<>~ Will update every Sunday and Tuesday at 9:00am, unless the chapter is beefy, then we'll just have one that week. For some more meta details about this story, it’s a LitRPG Apocalypse with a focus on abilities and how they are used over stats and numbers. It will have group progression, a non-overpowered protagonist, and a focus on unique and interesting classes. No overwhelming advantages for the main crew or broken cheat skills. No harem, some amount of gore, decent levels of profanity.
