《NiceOneNoMicroSon》Patriotic child

BOB 1.0 exclaimed with great pleasure that additional patriot points had been gained as the state claimed another victim, all thanks to Bobby Patriot Wight.
The boy had a blast sending anonymous mails to the police in which the misdeeds of various people that did not quote the books written by the great leader in certain situations.
This surely was a very grounded, you could say based, thing to do and went hand in hand with everthing Bobby learnt at school. Thanks to BOB 1.0, he also never missed a quote, always spoke correct and had an impeccable score all over the ratings.
Math truly did help with being a good student, Bobby always knew that, he was intelligent.
But where would he live now that his parents had been driven off to the execution block?
He couldn't just live on the streets, loiterers were being actively shot by (not very competent) government agents, as they could be rebels or worse - homeless people.
Eventually they would get him and then HE would go to the execution block despite being a level 463 patriot according to his system, that was how smart he was now. Well he had been actually harming himself with ratting out his parents to the government - this insight gave him a hundred levels in social, but that did not make him feel that good.
Bobby had enough of the old leveling system, beginning on working on the ultimate survival system with special assistance for finding a good spot to sleep in that would not be spotted by gov agents. School was now over and the clock began to tick, the clock until Bobby had to fear for his life despite being a very brave boy. So young, so patriotic and yet not very liked.

How did he think a system that just encouraged the easiest way to raise various numbers attached to generally formulated concepts that were just 'positive' was a good idea?
God would not save him from his own agents even if he knew how to cite the main antagonists of his books. That might just give him a quicker more merciful death.
The new survival system was done, it was partially a creation of Bobby, but mostly a creation of BOB, who had a say in it due to too much Bobby having a bad inpact on the last system. It had some numbers as they had been useful in swaying emotions, but also quests that had to be done in order to raise the numbers. Bobby went with the quest that gave the most points to facilitate the next level up. Finding a secure place? Why not break into the place of Robert and kill him whilst he is sleeping? Sleeping outside might be more healthy than sleeping inside in this case, Bobby dropped the idea.
That left only breaking into a house that did possess little to no inhabitants or very weak inhabitants. Bobby hurried over to his old house only to find it empty but for rent.
He obviously had no way to pay the rent without a job, and kids were not allowed to have jobs. The house was locked also, the doormat did not yield any results.
Bobby knew it was grinding time, he walked around the neighborhood of the school and checked their doormats, stealing the keys if he found them, remembering the respective houses for keys was a childs play for him. He had reached a point in which his growth in numbers slowed down - it was time for a high level quest to pump that number:

Aquire money - 1000 sp per buck
Aquire a way to recharge the implants - 1,000 sp per W/hr
Aquire food - 1000 sp per kilocalory
Get adopted - 10,000,000,000 sp + 10 levels
Bobby knew how to make money and got to a bank. Could he eventually hack the bank and get money that way? It did not work as they had learnt from their past failures that cost them loads of money. Not even bleeding edge neural to digital interfaces could breach that much security. Bobby remembered that he had taken a key to the pizza restaurant - this was a chance. Sadly the pizza restaurant had constantly someone in it who baked all these delicious smelling crusts. Made him hungry, but he just dosed himself with some narcotics to mute the pain - this tactic required higher and higher doses lately as Bobby had begun slipping into opioid addiction without being upper class. Getting more level seemed harder and harder. Bobby could walk to Robert and get some recharge still, but that would take long and he had to go to school tomorrow or face work-death-camp.
Patriotism really had NOT paid off, he should have listened.
All the good spots to get things would be at night, so Bobby decided to take a nap - but where? He would have to break into a house, sleeping in bright daylight outside just screamed to the gov agents to shoot a child. Houses were unsave too, but at least the owners would not be able to shoot him as guns were for gov agents and not for citizens.
It was time to pick wisely and to take a risk - death was always too close for a low level survivalist. Bobby would have to loot, kill, go to school, spout patriotic nonsense and manage to survive until his mandatory military service - the first job of every citizen and the mark of adulthood. Bobby saw his future self shooting homeless kids sleeping outside as one of the most desireable careers - it was at least easier than being the homeless kid. Enough daydreaming tho, it was time to get a safe place to dream at day in order to ransack at night.

Life, Once Again!
Sometimes, as we go about with our lives, we all happen to think of one specific thought at least once. What if... I could go back to "that" time? The funny thing is, the moment you think such a thought is the precise moment when you came back to the past, from the future. "One more time."Life, once again.
8 1097The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment. You can also vote for it on Top Web Fiction and rate it on Web Fiction Guide. Member of The Order of Phantasmal Architects.

Long ago the world was in peril with infighting and bickering. A great war broke out when the invading demon continent attacked the human continent. The demons are much stronger than the humans but the humans were able to hold off the demons with their ability to use magic. It all seemed lost until a great wizard rose up and helped lead the humans to victory. A talent like the world has never seen.
