The lance was struck from the side by a small black object and hit the ground instead of its original target.

It was a kunai.
“Yuu-kun…?”
A silver blade sliced through the top part of the net.
“Sorry for being late, Shiori.”

“Oh, huh. You managed to tail Cinder, huh? Good job. But you do realize you’ve walked into my trap, right? I would have preferred to neutralize her first, but this is fine too. I just didn’t think you would be stupid enough to attack us on our home turf without a plan.”
Yuudai stayed silent.
“Just as I thought. All brawn, no brains. Really, you bring shame to your house. Even your parents had a plan when they challenged me.”
“As I thought. You killed them, huh.”
“Yuu-kun… kunai?”
“It was necessary.”
“So I take it that you no longer fear them, Saito?”
“Wrong. They still scare me, but meeting you made me realize it wasn't the kunai that stabbed them and murdered them in cold blood. It was you.”
Unexpectedly, the knight woman- Rina Lebenev began laughing.
“Cold-blooded murder? From you? The son of the duo who murdered my family. in. front. of. my. very. eyes? Thats rich!”

The laughing stopped.
“I see. You’re just like me, aren’t you Saito?”
“I don’t care who you are or how justified your actions are. If you dare hurt those I care about, I will kill you.”

“First my parents, and now even Shiori nearly died by your hands. Tell me, Miss Lebanev, are you ready to die?”
“My time will come after that of everyone who carries the name of your two houses.”

Many stories like to take the path that there are Gods that watch over the characters of the story, helping them or hurting them as the characters progress. That is what I aim to create! I am trying to get the community involved in creating a reality that the readers themselves can directly influence! If you have any interest in this at all, I implore you to read the intro chapter called 'The Tutorial' and join everyone else on many interesting stories on Planet Earth and what it is to become! Volume 1 is where you can find how the system works, and the various things within the system! Volume 2 is the actual story and invasions itself. Volume 3 is where you can find previous polls and the such. Volume 3 is so we can all look back at the decisions made. Quick note. I am not the best writer, and will try my best to create the best quality story. There might be some grammar errors, or I might write in a simpler way compared to other authors because I do not have much time, nor can I write ahead either! Brick walls, low ceiling, the room's only feature is a stone altar in the middle. It's not the escape route Shoes hoped for, but he is happy with his discovery nevertheless. The room could be a perfect hideout. Shoes, slave of Miranda Alexia Dawngrove, finds a secret chamber beneath his Mistress's mansion. At first glance it seems to be empty, but he notices a straw mattress in one corner. There is a slave uniform on the makeshift bed. As he picks up the clothes, a small wooden figurine falls to the ground. Rough shape, amateurish carving; it's the exact copy of the statuette Shoes has in his pocket.
