《Spore, Stories of Lords》Chapter Four: Lord of the Pond

Hi Freak here! Sorry for not writing new chapters, I am very sick right so I can't really write right now but well that's another story. For today I bring you a new chapter and a new poll. The poll is about whatever the Mc should be male or female. I personally prefer a female Mc because it's easier to write about emotional changes, but well.. The choice is yours
(p.s. Is there anyone who can help me proofread the chapter? If there is pm me)
'Well, what is the use of being a' Lord of the Pond' if I am in the sea? '
As I am thinking of the stupid naming sense of who God damn created this system, I am looking around and what I see with my night vision eyes is Water, and when I say water I intend a MASSIVE amount of water.
The black board is still in front of me as I think of what possibilities I have.
'Hey voice, can I modify my species after having evolved in a predetermined one? '
The voice of the goddess answer me with her usual mechanical sound, like produced with virtual console and yet gentle like a loving mother.
If you chose to modify a predetermined species you will lose you current species and DNA point.
'Hmph that's cheap system!'
I like my current species, it is perfect for passing unobserved, dealing stealth and surprise damage from where the enemy don't see you, we'll it's more like he CAN'T see you if you stay in the dark.
But thinking logically, the system give a ranking for all the species and the Lord of the Pond species is certainly higher than mine.
'Ahhh, fuck that! Just do it... Huh what was my name again? Did I have a name originally?'

'Huh' As I think of all the possibilities I try to review my memory, I try to remember my childhood but all that I remember are pictures without sound or description, but the sensation of the moment is still there, I remember myself picking an apple from a stand, the frenzy, hunger and feeling of accomplishment, but then comes the pain, at that moment I turn my head and see a faceless man he doesn't have a nose, a mouth nor eyes.
Suddenly more woe comes down, and the monster raise his hand - in his hand a weapon of torture, a metallic rod with countless little protuberances on the head of the stick- then comes the worst, the faceless one hand fall at high speed and hit in a soundless motion my side, it spreads the pain in my ribs, the pain goes on spreading from my rib to my arm then to my legs as the man keep on hitting me.
Pain in my head stop me from looking further in those memories.
'What the hell, nothing good came from that... It seems that I lost my memories of all that can give me a hint to names and people'
I try to not think about it as I press the YES button in the black window.
At that moment the world start to shrink, although in this of water don't seem to much, my lightness skin start glowing from black Light, my vision becomes blurred, I sense something growing between my torso and my tail until, the growing stops as the mass is at the half size of my tail, then above my head i sense the same growing of two masses parallel to each other, but that stop by the time it's at the length of my tail, my sense of the water became more accurate.

'I sense the movement in the bigger currents of what I presume is the sea or a Bad ass piece of a lake, well I can't really taste the water to sense if it is Sea or Lake water as I don't have a receptor apparatus... Well more importantly is that I am not even certain I am still in my past world to be sure the water is even salt in the sea'
As my vision return I notice immediately some differences.
First: It seems that I am now my size is slightly bigger than that yellow abomination.
'As expected of a Lord of the Pond
Second: In my head rush information about what seems magic, although it's more stuff like manipulate the water to move faster or stop it to create a solid shield, obviously with its restriction like range of action and how much you can manipulate the water.
Third: My vision became more ample, the details became clearer, the view cleaner but the previous illuminated view now became more natural with illumination coming from up and shades coming from the bottomless pit that is at my feet.
'Well I don't really have feet... Ah no, now I have them!'
Fourth: The previous protuberances at the base of my tail are what seems fine feet, they help me move inside the water.
Fifth: I don't really know what are the things at the top of my head, I assume they are antennas? I also think they are what five me the water manipulation magic.
Sixth: My appearance changed, now my skin is of an light blue color like the sky above me, my mouth seems more human-like with molars and canines, probably it's a variant of the omnivorous one, it seems that I returned to be a nightmare monster.
Those are my point of what changed in my body, although there is probably more than that.
I start moving in the water, my speed became the double of what was when I became a climber rank one.
As I move I start playing with my magic, creating little hurricanes and blocking the water to stop my movement brusque, I notice that every time I stop shortly the shock force transfer to my body.
But I immediately find of a solution.
'Well if it can move the water then it can move the liquids with a water base, well in theory'
Tinkering with my newly acquired toy I don't notice the various gazes of those little monsters, they transmit: Awe, respect and fear
Achievement unlocked: All hail the Lord of the Pond

The Kings of Thendor - The Two Kings
To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much. In the land of Thendor, where magic is mysterious, unmentioned, and sometimes even disbelieved; where kings, queens, and stewards rule, the ages-old kingdom of Alldel remains without its king. Heirs come and go and no one can explain why each one chooses to abdicate to the steward. And who are these heirs, anyway? Some say the line of kings is dead, while others whisper of magic. Some, though few they are, will tell you other kingdoms have interfered, keeping the line of kings from rising in the nation of Alldel. But why? Adric, son of Cassian, heir to the throne of Alldel has come of age and must answer the question, whether to assume the throne, or abdicate as his ancestors had done for centuries. Raised as a blacksmith by a family friend, Adric struggles with the decision to take up his place as King of Alldel, and to make matters worse, a neighboring kingdom has confirmed the rumors of the common folk. An impossibly old king with a centuries-old message arrives and changes Adric’s life in ways he could never have imagined. Adric must decide the future, and perhaps even the fate of the great kingdom of Alldel. Unprepared for this turn of events, he enlists the help of allied kingdoms and even the mystical nymphs of the Tulusbian forest. Some say his actions will start a war on the continent of Thendor. Ohers say he is resurrecting a long forgotten one from centuries ago. Abdicate, or become king? To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much.
