Nothing. That's all there is, nothing. But me. Somehow, even though the spell worked, I'm still here. So while floating through the endless nothingness that is the void, I begin to recollect how everything had happened.
3 months ago, I woke up in a forest with no memory of who I am, or was. When I came to, there were 6 people standing around me. They would eventually become my friends and the same 6 who fought with me in the end. They helped me out, and let me follow them while I try to regain my memory, but I told them, "I don't want to remember." They looked at me with worried and confused looks, and asked why? I had told them "Maybe me forgetting who I was, was meant to be, maybe it was an opportunity, a second chance at life." So that was that, we never bothered to figure out anything about me. But with no name, we came across a problem. What do they call me? They didn't want to run around yelling "HEY YOU!" all the time. After I showed them my magic when we encountered some ogres, which surprised me to, Michael called me a super mage, which Helena then attributed to shortening it which led to sage. Then from that moment that was me. Sage. Although it was not my name, and I never considered it to be, it stuck as a placeholder.
Later after traveling around for about a month, Magnus who was a profound blacksmith, wondered about my left arm, wondering why I was always wearing a guantlet. After telling him it dosn't feel like a guantlet, that it was just my hand. I thought it was normal, and for me it was. The guantlet on my left arm was in fact my left hand, and not a prosthetic either. There is blood and muscle and everything underneath it. The metal was my skin. So from there we all got curious why my hand was made of metal. We discovered why I was like that when we went through the Beast Kingdom. A beastman, my elder brother, recognized me and brought me to my father, complaining that I had some explaining to do. When we reached what turned out to be a castle, we met the Beast King, Illthais, my father. After I told him about my amnesia, and our curiosity about my arm, he explained. My arm signifies my inheriting of my father's special abilitiy that allows him to summon a powerful suit of armor. He also explained that I am 1/4 Beastman, 1/4 Demon, and 1/2 Human, my father himself is half beast, half demon. I came from 3 sources of royalty, my father the beast king which made me a beastial prince, my mother was named Victoria, she was the eldest sister of Helena and was called the lost princess due to fact she disapeared one day out of nowhere. My grandmother is the Demon Baronness and mother of my father and my uncle the Demon King, her name was Mildred. This all explained my appearance and abilities. I looked human but with pointy, furred ears, sandy brown hair, I got fangs, and my beast arm which is also apart of my full demonic form, and I have 4 eye colors. I have green and yellow in my left eye, and purple and blue in my right, and they glow in the dark with almost demonic pupils. My demonic form looks just like a suit of armor, but with a mouth, and claws.

As to my abilities, I am the only being on the planet who has the ability to learn ALL magic spells, regardless of race, gender, age, affinities or whatever. I have even created my own magic tree. Metal. I am the world's first and so far, only Ferromancer. I am also one of the few mages that can cast magic without chant or aid.
After all that was just us travelling to go fight my uncle ending with his death and my nonexistence.

The Roads Unseen
The Roads Unseen is a story of two sisters, magic, and tragedy. Of adventure, exploration, and myth. ~-~-~-~ Tammy and Teresa Aufrey didn’t have many expectations when their grandfather died. Knickknacks, clutter, and memories filled the house; a lifetime’s worth of belongings to work through before classes started. But when they cleaned out the secret room under the stairs, they found something unbelievable: magic. Their first steps into the unseen world were anything but smooth, however… Separated by an unfathomable distance, watched by flames and wings and ash-grey eyes, the two delve into a world they never knew existed. One turns to nature, the Fae, and their Grandfather’s dark legacy, desperate to fix the worst mistake of her life. The other, lost, afraid, and powerless, is desperate to survive. With no other choice, she turns to the only power she has left: Blood. ~-~-~-~ As a note; the story will be at least partially LitRPG. The tag isn't added yet because those aspects aren't coming up until a few arcs further in than the story currently is. Current update schedule is ~ 5 PM central time on Fridays. Still working on updating the main wordpress site, link will go up when it's ready.

Hazelsong: A LitRPG Novel
Release Schedule: I will be moving to a set release schedule as of 1/1/2022. A new chapter will be released every Saturday at Noon EST. If I have time that week for a second chapter, I will leave a note on the Saturday chapter and post the second chapter on Sunday at Noon EST. An up to date character sheet for the MC Erik will also be posted on Sundays at 12:15 PM. If life happens and I am for some reason unable to write that week, I will post a blank chapter giving you an update on where I am with my writing. Saturday Noon EST: First weekly chapter Sunday Noon EST: Second weekly chapter (if I have the time) Sunday 12:15 EST: Updated character sheet Synopsis: Years after surviving a deadly accident, Erik struggles to come to terms with his painful disability. When offered the chance to playtest the world's first full immersion VRMMO, he wants nothing more than to retreat back into his secluded life, until he learns what Hazelsong really offers. An escape from the pain. Hazelsong is a world of magic and adventure, a place where friendships are formed, loot is won, and glory and fame are there for the taking. While the threats feel real and the stakes are always high, there is only one thing Erik is really in danger of. Forgetting which world is actually real. Story Themes: Hazelsong is a LitRPG novel that not only explores the fictional world of a realistic online fantasy realm but the life of a man suffering in silence from chronic pain and PTSD due to a significant physical injury and disability. Mental health is an important subject and we all know at least one person in our lives who has or is dealing with some form of mental illness. I plan on putting my best effort forward to represent these illnesses in a fair and accurate manner. Not as a cheap plot device to help make the protagonist more unique, but to help paint an accurate picture for those of us who have been lucky enough to not have to suffer in silence. About the Author: I am Ash Durra, general video game nerd and a connoisseur of fantasy and sci-fi of all shapes and sizes. Needless to say, I am not a professional author (B.S. and M.S. in Education, 8 years teaching). After really getting into LitRPG novels over the past several years, I found my way to Royal Road, which has inspired me to use my spare time to begin writing a story of my own creation. As this is a hobby, I am not writing and posting chapters on any kind of specific schedule at the moment, though my goal is to post on average 1-2 chapters a week. I am incredibly excited to share this story with others as I write it, and I look forward to any constructive feedback about how I can improve in my writing.

(Re)Install
After his death, Garry, AKA Gaz, is summoned by a nameless goddess to another world and tasked with a very important mission, the main characters sets out to travel around in search of a way to accomplish his objectives and live happily ever after. The catch? The mission is to save the same goddess, who've been sealed away for all eternity in who knows where. Having little to no energy left, she was unable to create a decent blessing, so Gaz is left with a weak body in a savage world that he knows nothing about. Also, did i mention he wasn't reincarnated as a human? Neither as a beast? Well...His actual body might actually not be that bad. As long as he survives the first day, of course.-------------Okay, some of you might know from Insania Online, some don't, so might as well explain it here. This is a Re: (ish) style story, with a Scifi (ish) setting and some fantasy (ish) assets (precision is overrated). This is kind of a side project I will work while I take a break from insania. This is a crazy idea i had thanks to a certain game's trailer, and decided to write it. Even if it starts fairly serious, it will probably have a lot of wacky comedy, so don't say you haven't been warned and don't try to take it too seriously. Really. If you are expecting a dramatic and heavy story, this is very probably not what you want(who knows? I'm just starting it...).
