After leaving the town and heading farther north towards the closest forest I really started to see more monsters.

The fields were packed with different types of monsters. For what I can see it the spawn includes Large boars, A crimson type of wolf that hunts in packs and some birds that are using wind magic.

And that's only what i can see after watching them for a while.

It looks like the wolves hunt the boars if they lose the boar gets a free meal and the birds hunt pick off the wolves or injured boars.

All have to keep their food chain in mind for later hunts. After finishing up watching them i headed to the forest as soon at i stepped into the dense patch of tree a sudden status effect came to my screen i've never seen before.

Damn this is gonna be a pain in the ass if I'm looking for flowers and can't see five feet in front of me.After moving a few feet into the forest and turning around I couldn't even see the end of the treeline.

Turning back around and proceeding deeper into the wood and marking trees with my sword.

"Hopefully these don't regenerate fast."

After walking for a few minutes I found myself at a large swap area.

After looking around the water's edge the only thing around were some small frogs and some dragonflies. It was so dark around the pond I could barely see out on the water. I wonder if there's one nearby.

After walking farther I came to a large patch of rocks with a river running water into the pond.

Looking around there seems to be fish swimming so maybe i can catch a few and sell them.

All have to remember this spot. After walking a bit down the riverbank I came to a few large holes just a few feet from the river.

I wonder what made these.

Moving slowly by them I continued down the river only after a few seconds I heard a strange noise across the river. It sounded like some kind of snake.

After getting a closer look there was a large black snake coming out of a hole on the other side of the river it seemed to have something in its mouth that was red...

Wait, don't tell me that's the flower. No wonder no one took the mission. Putting my hand on my face and sighing. Welp, I better first find a way to get across, maybe i can make a bridge. After cutting off a piece of the trees near the river.

"Man, i'm not gonna be able to use this. All have to find another way across."

Wood with the [Darkness attribute]. Very weak and brittle without the right preparation.

-Failure rate when using this wood is increased by 80% without the right process.

Hm i wonder how i acquire the processing method well i guess i should take a bit for tests later.

Cutting down a few branches from the trees and putting them in my inventory. Well the only way I can think of is either swimming across or walking up the river to tell the water become shallow. I'm not so confident in swimming.

Welp best bet is to start walking.

After walking for a bit it seems like the river is getting deeper and deeper best bet would be trying to swim across. Huh jeez.

The server will be shutting down for maintenance and an update to the system in 5 mins. Everyone will be teleported to a safe zone if you're not already.

The servers will be back up and running in 2 hours.

Damn already I thought I had a little bit more time. Wait, I might be able to use this to my advantage lets test something. After taking my clothes as well as weapons and putting them in my inventory I was left with only the black clothes like in the creation room. Stepping into the river I can feel the ice cold water hitting my legs.

“Ooh why'd they have to make this so real it's so cold!”

Driving head first into the water it was freezing. Kicking my legs and my arms I started to move in the water but only berly.

It was as if it was my first time swimming. After only making a few feet inside the water a sudden light flash engulfed my body. I soon found myself standing in a town in front of a large concrete building and on closer look it seemed to be the church inside the elven town.

The system screen flashed in front of me.

Wait why are the npc looking at me? Looking down I noticed I was soaking wet. Realizing what i was doing before I quickly put my clothes back on. That's so emmbaring even if it is a game.

Taking off my headset and putting it on the desk. I wonder what time it is? Looking at my clock its 8pm then the servers will be back up at ten. Damn all just call adam and go to bed.

“Hey whats up?”

“The server just shut down for the night. But i got a question I was hoping you could answer.”

“Alright.”

“I took a quest from the guild to look for lotus medical grass in the forest but I couldn't find any. You know where I can get some.”

“Damn you picked a hard one. There the favorite food of the dark serpents they normally make their dens by the water. You can either kill them and take the flowers they have or you can swim to the bottom of the river they nest at. But you need to watchout for them coming to eat and drowning. Most players go and kill the snakes there pretty hard though.”

“Arlight well thanks for the help all figure something out. By the way do you know the normal status of the snakes?”

“No but you should be able to find it on the BE forms. I'm sure someone posted it.”

“Alright thanks all, take a look. Have a goodnight Adam.”

“You too.”

Man, I guess I gotta do some research before bed. Pulling up my chair to the desk I started looking up everything I could find about the Dark serpents. Pvp videos.

There game status anything and everything. After looking through all of the fights for a few hours it seems that they are easier to kill with the [Light attribute] there very fast when it comes to swimming there bites contain poison and and the [Darkness attribute] to it.

It would be a hassle to be bitten. My two choices are either fight it or avoid it. Wait there's another way.

Why didn't i think of it earlier... After searching up various things my plan just might work.

Little did I know it was already midnight by the time I came up with a game plan.

“Man it's already so late. Wait, Clara hasn't come in. she must have fallen asleep… *Yawn… man i think i should go to bed too.”

Stretching my arms and turning off my computer screen. All try out my strategy tomorrow hopefully it works. Almost immediately I fell asleep.

The next morning.

"huh, I wonder what they changed. hopefully it helps out somehow."

The update to the system went without fail. We changed a few things with your guys' inputs from the forms. This includes:

The new addition to status. [Luck] and [vitality] will be added.

-[Luck] will affect various things including crafting monster drops and help with various skills.

-[vitality]. This was already present but as requested it will now be a shown stat on player as well as tool.

Bug fixes well as modification to “useless” skills to make them more appealing.

Huh, wait, I wonder what my [luck] and [vitality] are at. Well first off i should get outside the city i can't even think with how loud this town is.

Leaving the town and passing various other players and npcs shouting on every corner.

“Man it sure does take awhile getting through the city.”

Turning around outside the city and looking its still quite large compared to it surrounding.

Unlike the crescent village I was at earlier. It has large stone walls covering the whole town to prevent beast attacks.

Large towers can be seen all over poking just barely above the city walls. Inside is filled with many players and npc making the town so loud and crowded. Definitely not to my liking. Taking one large breath and exhaling. I quite like it outside the town listening around the only sounds to hear were the sound of animals and the occasional monster going against another player.

Well i better set off to the forest this is going to be a real hassle hopefully i can pull this off.
