Meena snorted at his ignorance. Niko looked pretty offended at her response to his claims as she retorted, "You have no idea who I am, so I know that's not true. As much as you'd like to think, there are clearly many things going on in your company that you're not aware of. And honestly, it might be better if you didn't know. You look pretty tough and masculine and confident on the outside but from what I've seen... you're kind of a child."
Niko's jaw fell to the floor as Meena slid the hotel key cards off of the desk in the suite. "It's almost time for check-out," was all she said as she turned on her heel and left the room. After a minute, he picked up the lower half of his face and followed behind her. He hurried into the elevator that she was entering, trying to maintain his professional demeanor as he glanced at her out of the corner of his eye.
The woman was really pretty actually. She was about 5' 8" if he had to guess while standing next to her, and her muscles were well-toned. Her silky brown hair had very loose waves now and hung past her jawline, parted to the side. Her eyes were so blue he would almost describe them as neon but they were nearly hidden under her long, dark lashes. Her skin was flawless and very fair, making him wonder where her family came from. She looked to be in her early to mid-twenties and a mix of races that he couldn't point out, but found mildly attractive.
In the lobby, the woman placed the key cards on the counter and told the female desk clerk what room number they were checking out of. After a few moments, the employee smiled and thanked them for staying. The clerk eyed Niko up and down with a hungry smirk and Niko nervously plastered on a smile as he turned away. After receiving an eye roll from Meena, Niko followed the woman out of the hotel, attempting not to look like a puppy following its mother. She immediately veered off the main road and took the back streets, a black baseball cap suddenly appearing on her head to hide her face.

Niko followed behind her for a solid fifteen minutes or so into a network of narrow alleyways until she abruptly stopped in her tracks. He almost bumped right into her, but luckily noticed just in time. She whipped around to face him, looking up with an obviously irritated expression on her face.
"Why are you following me?!" she nearly yelled at him.
Niko fumbled for words, then stood up straight and looked at her resolutely. "I don't have my phone and don't know where I am."
Her eyebrow went up and he swore he could see her eye twitching, her face still in its irritated state. She reached out and poked at his chest, right in the spot where his wallet pocket was hidden inside of the suit.
"I'm sorry, aren't you the one with money? Have you never hailed a taxi before?" she asked him slowly as if he were unintelligent. She seemed to do that a lot.
He furrowed his eyebrows, mulling over her question, then looked back at her. "No."
Her face dropped into one of her hands as she groaned in frustration. "Look, we're probably in the same boat here and I'd really advise you to go underground, like me… but I think your chances of not getting caught are hella slim. Everyone knows what you look like and your powers don't provide a lot of protection and no offense, but you cannot defend yourself well enough. Whoever hired those guys to take you clearly has a lot of money. And that makes you a priority target to a lot of bad guys now. SOOO, I'd appreciate it if you just went along your-"
She suddenly stopped as Niko and her both turned to gawk at something coming out of the brick building wall next to them in the alley. "-...way..." she trailed off.

A shoe slowly edged out, then stomped on the ground next to them, part of an ankle now going through the wall. Meena and Niko looked at the shoe in absolute terror and jumped back, Niko holding onto Meena's arm for safety. Bit by bit, a body made its way through the wall as they watched with panic-stricken expressions. It reminded Niko of some kind of horror movie.
Finally, the girl's head came out too and she was holding two large, lumpy duffel bags. She was petite, young (maybe late teens), and one side of her long, golden blonde hair was buzzed. She had big hazel eyes that looked up surprised at the two people standing there in the random alleyway.
'Shit on a stick. They totally saw me. Time to go,' Meena and Niko both heard her think. She opened her mouth to awkwardly say, "Eheheh. Um. Yeah. Okay, bye!" She whipped to the left and started bolting at full-speed towards another brick building as Niko stayed frozen in shock.
Meena, however, dashed after her. Niko was surprised by how fast she was. She caught up to the young girl just before they were to hit the building's wall and Meena took hold of her arm while sprinting. The girl was determined, though, and continued to run into the wall with Meena still clutching her.

The girl made it to the wall and she almost breathed a sigh of relief. But when her arm went through the wall, the woman's hand did too. Her eyes widened at the hand on her forearm as she stood in an empty bathroom of some sort. That was not supposed to happen. To her dismay, the rest of the woman went through the wall behind her as well. They both stood in the bathroom.
'That woman went through the wall. With my power. HOW?!'
Meena sighed at the young girl. She could hear all of the wildly confused thoughts playing in the girl's head and shooed them away. Meena pointed with her free hand at the bags that she was holding. "Is that money?" she asked with an eyebrow raised, already knowing the answer.
The girl nodded with big doe eyes. 'I can't get caught like this. If I'm caught, what will Adam do?'
Meena slowly pulled the girl back out into the alley and the girl complied, probably due to the shock. Niko stood near them now, his eyes wide at the super cool new power he got to witness.

Mistakes Lead To Success
Mistakes were made and it led to the death of Natalie Freemen. Her soul was captured and cared for by an young god but such protection come with a cost. Instead of taking the original offer she decided to make a deal. She would rome the multiverse and steal the essence that thrives them. In return she could become a demigod. Updates at random Romance is not the focus but a major plot point. I will take suggestions and corrective criticism. *Important Note* This makes for sense as you read along. This story is created by the viewer but there is a twist. Some chapters are static, meaning that it is to propel the plot. Others have polls that will affect other chapters but without a question. This means you don't know what it effects or in which chapter. I wanted to added this effect to create a suspense, something I didn't feel as much in other reader interactive stories. Your vote could create fortune or misfortune for the main character. I know what it will effect because have a chart that tells me the possible routes. You just have to wait and see what your choice have done. I'll even write which poll effects the chapter in the authors note. Characters could die in the story and they won't be leads anymore. In comments you can ask for a detail chart for each poll but it will only be for one answer per poll. I will chose the most requested answer. I do not own the photo.
