Inside the tower...
"The entrance to the Beginner martial cave is down the hall. The door number is 11." Looking at the girl in front of her, the receptionist continues, "Insert your card into the slot and..."
After entering the room numbered 11, the normal-looking door closes behind her and the space in front of her is an endless red.
"System online...", "Welcome Sonika", "Transporting you to the first level of the Forgotten Warlords cave..."
"Transporting succesful", "Level 1."
Inside the cave is a door, and after going through the door- what Sonika sees is a large, what seems to be an underground city below the cliff top where she is currently looking from.
"According to what the online system says, from the cliff to the centre of the underground city covers 10 levels." Tucking her hair into her raincoat and fixing her gaze to the centre of the city.
The centre of the city has a throne, and sitting on that throne emitting green and golden light is a scholar wearing an ordinary green robe with an encouraging look in his eyes. Looking straight at Sonika, he raises his right arm above his head, pointing his index finger to the ceiling. His fingertip glows green for a moment and then draws back in, "#####Existential Devastation###"
2000km above his head, without any sound, the space collapses for 2 seconds and reforms but with a palm size golden sphere of light rapidly expanding until its the look-and-feel of a sun. It only took a mere second for it to expand in diameter to 500km.
The light particles from the golden sun descend 200km down causing the air to rapidly expand and explode like a thunder clap, causing a turbulent wind to pickup and frost to form disrupting the current and almost instantly forming storm clouds sweeping across the 'sky' forming a vortex.

Ten lightning bolts, each covering a surface area the size of a stage at an opera singing concert crashes down; one of which happens to occupy the space of the scholar sitting on the throne.

"So...it will probably rain soon. The receptionist at the desk informed me that I need to defeat the Warlord, learn it's name and absorb it's core after completing the 9 levels. And a Forgotten Warlord is an ancient existence formed by the experiences and memories of a hero or villain that fell during or after battle. The Forgotten Warlord is definitely that scholar."
Fixing her attention to the tenth lightning bolt as it vertically folds to the left side of the scholar like a curtain and fades.

What could possibly go wrong with our heroine? This novel is a sort of, legacy. I wanted to at least put it out there before I passed away due to a combination of financial difficulty, homelessness, job loss, and my last interview taking up the last of my savings (which I did not get the job). Simply called Robomechanic. Which allows him to build loyal companions who would fight his fights and even wars for him. This marked the start of their climb from the rock bottom of the old world, to the top of the ladder of this brand new world. However, of course they aren’t the only ones who wish to make a name of themselves within this new world. With most of them having no regards for others. How far will the trio actually come, with corporations and government rejects trying to control the ones standing below them. Note:This was my first novel which I now expanded onto with chapters. It’s meaning is mainly for me to practice my writing by writing an actual novel.
