Short and simple. Please answer the poll below this chapter.
Poll Question: How long do you want these chapters to be?
- Option 1: 1,000 words minimum
One thousand words are double the bare minimum word count for each chapter uploaded to Royal Road and is the shortest length of these chapters which leads to shortened development time. This doesn't include heavy details and is the barebones writing style.
- Option 2: 1,001 to 1,700 words
Option 2 is the normal length of these chapters released to Royal Road and if this reaches the majority, nothing will change in chapter length.
- Option 3: 1,701 to 2,000 words
This option increases the chapter length slightly, but also adds a slightly longer development time for each chapter. This also includes the stats of characters who are critical to the story (like Markus or Zac Ghost) and various [Codex Entries] found through the chapters.
- Option 4: 2,001 to 2,700 words
For the final option, this will drastically increase the chapter length and add more detail to what is going on in the story. Obviously, this increases development time and may affect releases going forward.
Before Chapter 7 releases (read the post chapter note for a title reveal ;3), I want to get feedback on maybe the readers want longer, shorter, or stay the same on chapter length. After all, this story is a RR exclusive story and the reader's constructive criticism is important!
