“Aren’t you hungry? Or… You’re just angry at me…?” I felt my face stiffen when I uttered my words. The smile that I readily plastered was hard to summon right now.

Senpai let out a groan before pinching the bridge of his nose. “Look, I’m sorry okay. If I came across as a jerk. I just—wait, why are you smiling?”

“Eh!?” I was smiling!? I touched my lips and much to my surprise, I really was beaming. Oh crap, he’s gonna get mad again. I squinted my eyes and gazed at him, only to find him grinning.

“You weirdo.” He snatched the bread from my hand and opened it. “Also, I’m just hungry.”

“…!” Oh gosh, oh gosh, I think I’m super blushing right now. I quickly turned the other way and started to play with my hair. Why do I find this thug attractive…? What is wrong with me… I’m sorry, mama, papa, your daughter has a standard lower than hell itself.

It was after school. Everything from the building and the road was tinted in bright red. The sun was barely hanging from the horizon, and the clouds had turned dark.

There were rarely people in the street currently, and much rarer was students from our school. It feels like we are on a date or something. The thought alone gave me great joy.

It was almost silent here, if not for the sound of our footstep. When I checked on Senpai, the bread was already half-eaten—the yakisoba probably calmed his nerve.

But, Senpai is a tough man. Hitting him like this is almost equivalent to a tickle—SENPAI!?

Senpai was blown away and fell to the ground after rolling several times. “Y-you bastard… I’ll never forget this…” He lost consciousness—wait, on closer look, he was keeping an eye on Hanabi-kun and me.

“Are you okay!?” Realizing what he had done, Hanabi-kun grabbed my shoulder. He appeared very worried.

I looked at Senpai and he was looking back. “Actually, that guy is—”

Senpai then made a fist and start wiggling it around.

“I mean, thank… you?”

Now he made an okay sign with his hand and lay down on the street peacefully. The hell…

Hanabi-kun sighed in relief, grasping his chest. “We should get out of here now.” He said, grabbing my hand and beginning to run.

Wait, wait! My time with Senpai!? I peeked at Senpai for the last time, only to find him eating the yakisoba bread I gave him without a single ounce of care in the world. SENPAI!?!?.
