《Another world? what's the difference?》Chapter 89 "Where's your pendant?"

Iris took the stairs up and headed to the Libhane's room. Only few soldiers remained in the fort. The rest was still trying to solve several problems that arose this day.
"halt there!" One of the soldier approached her
"what's wrong human?"
"ck, this kind of attitude.. do you know a monster make some ruckus in the plaza today?"
"....i don't understand"
"this is why monster is really hard to communicate with"
"..what do you mean human?"
"your fellow monster make a problem in our town.. sure you don't have anything to do with that? for example.. to save all of your people down there?"
Iris didn't show any changing on her expression and also didn't respond to his question.
"huh, keep silent huh? stay still, i need to check you... thoroughly" He smiled
Iris already knew what this human would do. Almost everyday, they used this "inspection" thing as their excuse to "check" her body.
He started from her shoulder, downed to her breast.. he groped them several times before moved to her waist... and ended at her thighs. He surely took his time to check on her body.
"hmm... there's no problem, i think"
"is that so?"
"hey, you can't blame us you know? we don't know what kind of things that a monster like you could do... right?" He smirked
Iris closed her eyes and tried to control her emotion.
"can i go now?"
"sure princess, sure" He bowed but with a mocking gesture
Iris continued to Libhane's room and tried to contact Yana.
"Yana? you're there?"
There was no response. She tried for few times but the result still like the first one, no response from him.
"... I'll try later then"
She arrived in the front of Libhane's room. She hesitated for a while before finally she knocked the door.

-knock knock-
"..come in"
-clack-
"I'm here to clean this room"
"sure. It's already three months now, relax Iris"
"...and why would i do that human?"
"ahahaha, don't be so cold. I thought you are already getting used to this place. Sure, it's not as big as your kingdom, but still.."
"... I'll do my duty now" She ignored it
Libhane's room was quite messy. Many books and papers were laid on the floor. Several tools and magic devices also scattered around the place. Iris started to gather the papers and the books before she took care about the tools and magic devices.
Libhane sat near the window and thought about something. He mumbled and looked into the sky.
When the first time she did this kind of work, she was quite struggling to clean the mess. Now, she did it faster and more efficient.
"tell me Iris.... have you meet some human that offer your people freedom to you? or some kind of..plan?"
She stopped her hand and looked at him. Luckily, there's no changing expression on her face.
"I've never met that kind of human. And why would you think i want to do something with human?"
".. that's make sense.. if your hatred already totally consume you Iris.." He stood up and approached her
"but the problem is.... you still hold your reason.." He stared at her
Iris still maintained her calmness and kept silent. Libhane stopped in front of her and continued his words.
"that monster that was in the plaza, its purpose is definitely to lure some soldiers with the captain...thus, Arshon chased it with the soldiers.."
He walked from side to side before he continued his words.
"then, if there are only three of them.. two left to infiltrate this place. One need to get to my place, and the other one need to rescue Chanotte.."

"what do you mean human.. why i need to hear this nonsense?"
"relax Iris, i promise this will be worthed for your time" He continued
"hmm, somehow they can trick Zaghard to leave from this fort too, so that's make Marleus as the only captain left to protect this place.."
"but unfortunately.. Chanotte tried to escape from his cell and got caught by Marleus in the end... so one of them need to show itself... here"
"if they still do their plan... despite that condition, then they must have support from the inside, at least to know about my movement.. as the commander" He took his breath
"whoever made this plan, won't let anyone else to face me.. except themself"
He stopped again in front of her.
"when the time is right, they will come here and finish me as the commander of this place.. and the source of their problem"
"..."
"now Iris... who do you think that see me as a problem? hm? in this fort?"
"i don't understand human"
"hmmm, you don't want to try lying for example? come on, make this become interesting Iris"
"just what do you..."
-greeb-
He pulled her clothes and asked her.
"tell me... where's your pendant Iris?"
-----++-----
"hiks....hiks..."
-knock knock-
"hey Pan?! you're there? open the door!!"
Lorick's voice could be heard from the downstairs. Pan stood up and tried to walk with the pain in her stomach.
"wa..wait~"
-criing-
"what's wrong~ Lorick?"
"Pan! holy mother, i just saw that bastard Zaghard coming to your place, by holy mother's protection, i hope you're alright...."
He suprised to see her condition.
"Pan!! who did this to you?! that man?! Zaghard?! oi! tell me!"
She tried to speak while keeping her smile, but she was already at her limit at this point.
"hiks...hiks... what should i do?? why is so hard to keep my parents dream?? i can't take it anymore.."
She cried and left Lorick with a confused expression on his face.

Killstealer
Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me.
