"SO! DO YOU THINK WE MUST SURRENDER TO THEM?! THE OTHER RACE?!"
"no, of course not. We can simply live side by side. Why is that so hard for you to understand?"
"side by side....you should understand by now, they dangerous strength and power at this war..they can easily kill human.."
"haha, don't change the topic chief. You attacked them first...if that doesn't make sense to you, then let me ask you this. Are you aware of their existence before this?"
"that didn't change that fact that they're dangerous"
"hmm, yet you're the one that killed them all. isn't that funny?"
".....can you find his position?" He asked the banner man
"no chief... it's so dark in here....moon light barely reach this place.."
"haah, this would never end if we only wait.."
He grabbed his great sword and looked around. He decided to walk and searched Yana's position. When suddenly he heard a voice.
"Projectiles!!"
!! He looked around to make sure what's happen.
-splaaat- too late, his only remaining soldier fell to the ground with blood on his head.
Next thing he knew, tons of projectiles coming to his way.
[SENSE]
He activated his skill to increase his reflexes. Then, he brandished his great sword vertically.
-whuuum- a giant slash made an air blast and wiped the projectiles. He let down his guard and talked again.
"so you're already bring those animal with you..to think I must handle this on my own.."
[PERCEPTION]
This skill could make him feeling a living being presence.
But it was only lasted for one minute, he needed to be fast and efficient.
-whup- he dashed towards Yana's position. To end this situation, he needed to kill their leader first.

"he's the one who made those strategies.. without him, these animals will become an easy prey for me"
He ran between the trees, and got closer with his enemy. When he wanted to attack his enemy in front of him..
A short sword came from behind the tree. It flashed toward his left side face. By [SENSE] skill, he could evade that attack and countered it with a slash toward the tree.
-zruuug- the big tree fell by his great sword swing. He continued to chase Yana. His [PERCEPTION] skill would ineffective in a few seconds.
"he is close... just a little bit.."
-whup- another attack came from his blind spot, yet he could evade that too.
"-kkgghh- this animals!!"
He kept focus because his enemy already in front of him, behind the tree.
"-syuu- haaah!" He swung his great sword
-zruuug- the tree fell to the ground, but no one was there. His vision was back to normal again. [PERCEPTION] effect wore off.
".... he's not here....how..."
"well well...as expected from their leader. You can dodge all of that attack.. -clap clap-" Yana's voice could be heard again
"I see.... you're no different with these animals" He sighed
He stabbed his great sword on the ground. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes, he saw many Half-beast surrounding him with their eyes shone in the dark.
Those eyes would judge him now for what he did to them. He pulled his great sword and put it in front of his chest.
"I!! CHANOTTE CHIRVAYNE!! AS THE CHIEF OF THE FIRST PLATOON, KING'S GUARD!! WILL FACE ALL OF YOU!!"
It's need more than five minutes to active [PERCEPTION] again, and without that skill, he would really struggle to see in the dark...yet his judgement..begin.

Raven: The Beginning
'What's the worst that could happen'? is what I thought to myself as I entered the World of the Veil with a new, experimental machine that the company created. I was originally excited to participate in their alpha test, and now, looking back, I was just a naive little girl that didn't know what it was like to truly suffer. Sarah was one of the world's best assassin players, but she wasn't prepared for getting stuck as a low-level player in a new game. Suddenly she has to struggle just to survive against the monsters of the world, while also keeping her secret from the authorities. What happens when the killing, and the consequences, are just too real? Author's Note (and a Warning): This book is about a normal person that is forced into a fantasy / medieval environment. What could possibly go wrong with our heroine? This novel is a sort of, legacy. I wanted to at least put it out there before I passed away due to a combination of financial difficulty, homelessness, job loss, and my last interview taking up the last of my savings (which I did not get the job). If by some miracle, and I get a job that can give me a pay advance by next week (4/8) and I survive this turbulent time, I will edit this - and the formating of the book). If you are so willing, please donate on my patreon page. Regards, Dave
