When the two reached the location of the where the one who wrote the letter was, they found a door leading underground being heavily guarded by guards. They attacked the guards and managed to beat them until they became unconscious without killing them and proceeded to enter the door leading underground. After arriving they met heavy resistance and they could do nothing but fight back as they tried to run as fast as they can, going deeper and deeper underground when they heard a shout from a cell near them. When they opened the door they found Sir Gwen, Sophia’s parents and a haggard looking old couple tied by chains. The people in the room then rejoiced as tears came streaming down their face but was brought back to reality when they heard the sound of footsteps and shouting heading their way. The two then started to untie the chains binding the 5 people but realized that they it was difficult to do so and had a hard time. When they managed to release Sir Gwen and the old couple and were about to release Sophia’s parents a few arrows suddenly flew from the door and struck the 2, killing them instantly. Sophia then became ballistic at the sight before her and went outside, slaughtering the enemies and came back with blood covering her body as she cried helplessly as she hug the people who took care of her since she was a child. Sir Gwen then felt guilty for not being able to stop the arrows when they heard the sound of footsteps and shouting that sounded as if the whole place was crawling with enemies. Sir Gwen then took the sword from Sophia’s sheath and told Samuel and Sophia to protect the old couple as they are their real parents the King and Queen, as he smiled and ran outside the room while Samuel screamed for him to come back. When Samuel was about to go after Sir Gwen, the sound of fighting echoed down the walls when Sophia suddenly took his hands and went to the old couple and proceeded to help the old woman stand up. Samuel then became irritated since Sophia stopped him but was shocked as Sophia’s face was filled with grief and resolution. He then looked towards the corpses of Sophia’s parents and realized that she was willing to leave them and was sensible enough to think logically. He then nodded his head and helped the old man as they fight the occasional enemy. When they became surrounded by enemies and were about to give up, Royal guards soon appeared and slaughtered the enemies.

After a few weeks after the incident a lot of things happened. A grand burial was made for Sir Gwen and Sophia’s parents and that the one behind the conspiracy was the Lancelot Empire who was plotting to take over the Kingdom, Samuel and Sophia were also coronated at this time and officially became the crown prince and princess while the Previous King and Queen took back their positions. The people of the Kingdom rejoiced as they knew that the future of Regorovia Kingdom was bright.

After a few years passed, Samuel later got married to a princess from the Lancelot Empire while Sophia was married off to their strongest warrior, creating deep political ties with the Empire. The generations that soon followed after were able to relax more easily as the two countries united and became a single humongous country which dominated the continent.
