《THE LOST TWINS OF REGOROVIA KINGDOM》CHAPTER VI: THE SERVANT

I’m the former servant of the royalty in Regorovio kingdom, I go by the name Dwen Sebastian. I am the also the sinful servant who failed on the mission given to me directly by the previous King. I only managed to save the prince and not the princess. Every night I pray for God to forgive me for causing this great sin as I hope for the slim chance that the princess was saved by some coincidence, but a’las that is not to be, as I know that the chance of that happening is next to none.
Regorovio Academy’s Principal is an old acquaintance of mine. He asked me if I could teach some magic spells and theories in Samuel’s class since the teacher who was supposed to teach them got into an accident. Naturally, I agreed since he promised that he would pay a considerable amount.
While walking down the street Sir Gwen spotted an old woman who tripped on a rock in the street next to him. He then helped her stand up. He felt that she was quite light as if she was a child. After he helped the old woman and was about to leave, the old woman then suddenly gripped a part of his body hard, making him moan heavily. The woman then came closer, much to his surprise “What your thinking is wrong, you need help”. The old woman then walked away as if nothing happened. Sir Gwen shivered for a moment and looked in the direction of the old woman to which his surprise, vanished. He then continued his way to the academy and pondered over the question of the old woman. As he pondered over this question, he noticed that he arrived to his destination while still having no idea of what the old woman said. Sir Gwen thinking that his intellect decreased due to his old age, walked dejectedly towards Samuel’s class. What he didn’t know was that the message was meant for sick people in another dimension who thought that what the old woman did was naughty.

While in the hallway, Sir Dwen saw a girl which looked somewhat familiar to him, but he paid the matter no heed as class was about to start. When the class started, Sir Dwen thought everything he knew to the students and told them to practice with a golem in the training field outside. Samuel, wanting to impress Sir Dwen and his classmates, used his vast mana pool to cast a huge destruction spell that destroyed the whole field causing panic among the students.
Sir Dwen having been angered, confronted Samuel and told him to meet him in his office as he go to his office to which the latter followed dejectedly. When they got to the office, Sir Dwen warned him not to do that again as it could harm innocent people and alert the people who attacked the palace in the past, exposing him. Samuel terrified at the thought, nodded his head repeatedly and apologized almost the whole day. What Samuel didn’t know was that was impressed by the prowess Samuel displayed.
After the sermon and apologizing session, Samuel was told to go back to class. “Ahhh, what a bad day, I thought that if I did that girls will flock to me as they finally notice my awesomeness… but instead I took the attention of that old geezer so I guess that’s something”.
After school, while walking to the humongous gates of the academy, Samuel saw Sophia who smiled at him then walked away. Samuel, thinking that Sophia is sneering at him, decided to get some revenge. “Huhuhu, so that’s how you wanna play huh, well I’m fine with that. I’m a compassionate gentleman so I’ll keep you company tonight in your dream… don’t think I’ll let you rest tonight” Samuel muttered this to himself as he quicken his stride as he went home with a mischievous grin.

Dying and being reborn in a fantasy world as a hero destined to kill the Demon King to prevent a great war is some people's greatest dream. Or are they merely following them? Because, in the Beyond where he's spent 150 years waiting, one dead Ancient knows the truth. And four people for which he can bring whatever it takes to face the world. Change is coming. The Changed Ones is a slow-burn litrpg fantasy trilogy (Ancient Bones, Ancient Books, Ancient Bonds) set on Earth, 150 years after the RPG Apocalypse... which mostly failed. Keywords: LitRPG, realistic setting, low-leveling, post-post-apocalypse, fantasy earth, slow-burn, secondary POVs, female primary MC, team adventure, worldbuilding. Trigger warnings: casual swearing, adult innuendo (no explicit scenes whatsoever, though). Oh, and potentially a bit of politics. Bonus content: a Litrpg Easter Egg hunt. With lots of eggs across the book, some easy, some hard to find. Current score: 6/20 (20 eggs, 6 found) Publication schedule: on hold until September for book 2.
