This would mean that you have found my hidden room. Perhaps by fate. Even so, everything I say is the truth, and nothing but the truth. I’ve not been able to say this to anyone so far. But, I’ve come to discover that the prince may have sold the kingdom out to the barbarians. We have no choice but to surrender. I fear my brother may have to fight on the frontlines of the war. It’s been a few days since I last made an entry. I fear the worst may have happened. The furthest outpost in the south has just been attacked by the barbarians. The tensions between our kingdom and the dwarves is quite frankly, disordered. My brother was assigned to lead the attack against the barbarians in the south. Being the captain of the 6th squad, I have no doubt that he’ll win. However... I fear for his wellbeing. May the god almighty protect him.

God has saved my brother! I’d almost thought I had lost him. The 6th squad seemingly had a difficult time holding the outpost. But my brother returned victorious. Even if he considers me a mere madman, I cannot help but be worried for him. A reckless boy, even since childhood, charging head-first into a problem without thought for his well-being. And his loyalty need not be mentioned in words, for I cannot express it.

The capital was attacked. The dwarves seemed to use, what seemed to be a flying craft. The casualty count has come to a thousand. And it hasn’t stopped. Most have died, and those who hadn’t, ended their own life, may god protect their soul. The limbs of children and elderly with no distinction, gone. The innocents’ blood was spilled onto the hard road all because of the prince’s greed.

The casualty has reached five-thousand. Nearly all those who resided within the Equitus area have died. All that remains is the black soot paved onto the soil that was once used to farm. The city’s structures are no more. My brother lead the rescuing efforts along with the captain and vice captain of the knight order. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th squads are launching the counter attack upon the dwarves. However I know that the dragon riders will not be enough against the dwarves’ floater as they called it. O’ Lord, protect those who believe you, and punish those who sin.

The 3rd squad and half of the 4th squad have died on duty. Why is it that we fight? What is it that we fight for? If all we’re fighting for is to gain more control over another, then is there no point in that? For thousands of people to die, it is simply saddening.

My brother believes me, but at what cost? He’s lost all hope in himself and the kingdom. I must not allow this to happen, even if the prince has no shame in doing such deeds, I must help my brother understand that he has done his best within this kingdom and that will never be a waste, for god will not forget the deeds of a good man.

Sweat started to form all around my body as the pain consumed me. It was 9pm and this had to be the worst wave of heat I've ever experienced! My body ached as the flames traveled from my core, spreading to the rest of my body. I hate heat, every type of heat, but mainly this one. Heat, in my pack, is a bitch! The second you turn 16 your heat starts. Then for the rest of your life you get a heat cycle once a month, as if having a period isn't bad enough. The heat happens right after your period, leaving you 2 weeks of peace as a woman if you find your mate your 16 years of life! If you did not find your mate at 16, when you turn 17 it will be every 2 weeks! Your period is still once a month, thankfully, but the heat cycle directly after your period is the strongest! Leaving you ONE week of peace...unless of course you don't find your mate by the time you turn 17. If you are unlucky enough to not have found your mate by the time you are 18, then yes it will be EVERY week! Leaving you NO peace!!Basically the longer you go without finding your mate, the more heat you will go through. If you're 20+ then it could be EVERY hour! Once you find your mate it goes back down to once a month, thankfully. Lucky, or lucky for me, I'm 17...meaning I've gotta deal with this every 2 weeks. This one in particular is the worst one yet! I grabbed the water on the side of my bed and tried to fix my dry throat.......
