《Broken Emperor》Chapter 17

They arrived at the door of her room.
Diana let go of his arm, slowly reaching his hand to hold it.
"I will look for you tomorrow morning," she said smiling.
"I will be in the forest, where we first met," speaking slowly.
"Yes, I still can't imagine we ended up like this after that," she giggled.
Cayn moved her hair of her face, got closer and kissed her forehead gently.
"I-I will go in then, good night," she nervously spoke.
"Sleep well," he patted her.
Diana went inside her room fidgeting, laying her back on the door she closed for a moment.
She breathed a heavy sigh, throwed herself in the bed. A peaceful moment before her mind reminisced today's events, making her heart race once again.
Whilst he stared at the door for a moment, before finally walking away as a bloody and mysterious smile appeared on his face.
---
Cayn went outside to meet up with Shiro, who waited there patiently, jumping on Cayn's shoulder in his cat form, as they walked towards the exit of the palace.
---
Shiro didn't say a word until they arrived in an empty area in the forest.
He got down, while Cayn kept walking ahead, finally stopping after a moment.
Shiro transformed into his original form, but this time he was even more huge, black flames raged from his fur englobing his entire body, his beast like teeth appeared, growling heavily, his blue eyes became serious as he stared at Cayn's back.
Cayn stood there, stretching his wrists, warming them up, slowly turning around to meet Shiro face to face. He was smiling, bloody and menacing.
A villian.
Shiro staggered a bit at the sight of those bloodthirsty eyes, but right after he came back to himself, as he charged at Cayn at an astonishing speed.

"Now, now," said Cayn smiling, disappearing appearing next to Shiro, whose eyes were too slow to react.
"You will bore me if you don't take this seriously."
Thud.
Shiro's entire body flied away destorying everything on its way, landing at the feet of a mountain.
Cayn slowly flied next to him, who was shaking as he stood up. He raised his eyes to see Cayn staring at him with a smile, he roared madly.
The roar shaked the entire forest, whereas all the beasts and monsters woke up running away in shock, terrifired.
Cayn appeared once again in front of Shiro's enormous head, raised his hand slowly, and slaped him hard on the face.
Everything happened so fast for Shiro to stop his roar, flying once again a distance away.
Cayn massaged his neck, breathing a sigh of disapointement, "So much for a god."
Such words may only be said by Cayn, the exeption of all. If it were anyone one else, their heads would be flying by merely the mind killing intent of Shiro, but now he couldn't even react to his speed, and Cayn was still not taking him seriously.
Shiro stood up slowly, he didn't say a word till now, it seems this situation is not unfamiliar to him, the change of Cayn when he finds an entertaining opponent.
A Cayn other than the cold and indifferent one.
The one in front of him right now, was a monster hungry for blood.
He sighed heavily, he may really die, those were always his thoughts whenever he spared and trained with Cayn. A spar? No, it was never like that, it was only him trying his best not to be hunted by Cayn, he was merely a prey to him.
Shiro's eyes became terrifying, the darkness of the night around them formed around his mouth, his beast like teeth bited it, making it form a giant sword. His entire body stomped the ground at the weight of the dark sword, he held it high, absorbing more and more dark energy, untill it grew even higher than the moutains around them. Thousands of other black swords formed in the skies covering miles around them.

Shiro flied, an air of divinty surrounded him, as if he looked over the entire world.
The thousand swords falled down like a heavy rain, each one of them was so big and strong that could destroy the royal palace in one swoop, yet thousands of them rained on Cayn.
The living beings of the forest all shaked at such a sight, already giving up on making it out alive of this place, The merchants an knight who were traveling alongside the royal road watched such a scene in marvel, while they tried their best to get away as far as they could.
Shiro held the huge sword between his teeth furiously, not controlling the madness in his eyes, as he swinged it in the air.
As if the entire forest lost its voice, a moment of silence filled it, before a huge slash appeared where Shiro swinged.
It looked like a cut in the void, it raged madly as sound came back to the scene, destroying the eardrums of everyone witnessing the sight.
The black slash, absorbed everything around it sharpening its edges, before making its way towards Cayn violently. The air around it vibrated aggressivly, the entire forest cracked, shaked and trembled at its strenght.
Cayn's hair and jacket were dancing with the air around him, "I guess the little puppy grew a bit."
He opened his arms wide, his shirt shredded a bit, showing his monstrous ripped back.
He started smiling like a mad man, as his muscled flexed and pumped up, veins filled his entire body till they reached his hands and fingers. He suddeny brought his hands together at a fast speed, piercing the wind around them making a hissing sound.
Clap.
The world stopped breathing for a moment, giving birth to a huge shockwave, that erased everything on its way, its terrifying sound slowly roared as it grew bigger, making its way towards the sword slash making all the other swords dissapear whitout putting up a fight.
Finally reaching the huge sword, it wasn't any different from the others, crushed, disappearing wihtout a sound.
Shiro stood himself in the air, raised his sword high, swinging it clashing with the shockwave, he fought it for a moment with all his being but he was still being pushed away till it dissapeared on its own.
Shiro was flying, his body was cut everywhere with small lines of blood.
He was panting, trying to catch his breath.
"I guess it's finally time to teach you something new."
Cayn's voice shook the entire forest.

It goes against all logic, and it's power is not something that can be measured in numbers. It's something that would "absolutely not work" in a professional setting. Anasthese attends Rei's funeral as a last rite before setting off for Japan, bound towards the disintegrating Futenma Shintenkan Highschool chessclub, of which there are only two members left: Mukuro and Net. She has to see it with her own eyes, a playstyle that Rei lost to... And as Anasthese stays for the long-term, various misadventures are started at Futenma High, including rebuildung the club, Anasthese's "Royal Guards" (four girls dedicated to serving Anasthese and helping challenge Rei) coming to take her back to America, and unexpected guests gracing the local Sports Meet chess scene. GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
