From the moment Joice ordered the laser to be fired to the moment others saw the glowing white light, it took only two seconds. The Convoy’s comms are connected to the Peiji, and as soon as he lets out a roar, almost everyone is on the move.
Murphy, Moyan on his back, ran as fast as he could, trying in vain to escape the gunfire.
Guerin’s body was suddenly covered with hard armor, and he held her in his arms and turned his back toward the attack.
Countless beast-shaped men rushed at me, trying to block the hot white light with their bodies.
But even with the slightest deviation, the blast damage within range of the laser atomic cannon would have been enough to seriously injure her.
At that moment, the huge power of artillery fire in the Gobi swept, firelight shot people can not open their eyes. The men in the front were swept away by the blast, their bodies instantly Slasher; Murphy’s huge body was flung into the air, its limbs twisted at odd angles, and its charred fur soaked with an indeterminate amount of blood.
Moyan felt forced into Guerin’s arms, and she now knew that the pangolin gene was cold, hard, stubborn, and tenacious.
The armor on his chest was pressed against her face, and the Gash on his chest was hot, but she couldn’t feel it. The only sense she had was that Guerin was holding her arm tightly, and she could hear the thud of the blast on his chest, blood was on her face. It was hot.
In the face of absolute force, all flesh is in vain.
The laser cannon was so powerful that by the time the explosion died down, the dust storms around here had even stopped. The black sky was momentarily still, and the air was filled with a sickening smell of burning flesh and blood.
Joice folded his wings and fell to the ground. He directed several searchlights to the floor, illuminating the mess with a huge crater in it.
Dozens of mutants, ranging from wolves to birds to cattle, were scattered in the crater in a fan-shaped protective pattern, most of them comatose.
And the originally fierce resistance of the offensive team, after seeing the casualties of the crater over there, actually have stopped action, dumbfounded stand in place.
“What’s the matter with these people? They look desperate,”said Joice, half-right but still surprised by their reaction. He had a vague feeling that he had done something terrible and would regret it.
“I’m going to pick up those who are still alive,”said Romont, the aide. “We can get them back to A3 at dawn.”
Joice nodded, and suddenly Lights Out saw something.
“Wait a minute!”He stopped Ramon with a jerk, then narrowed his eyes and examined the mountains?
The voice grew louder and louder, as if someone were gasping for air as hard as he could.
“Hoo-hoo-hoo.”
Joice’s eyes widened as everyone on the battlefield, not just him, saw it. A white hand reached out from the mountain, pushed aside the weight of his body, and climbed out.
What did he see: a strange brunette.
The Moyan who survived felt nothing but the vibrations beneath their hearts. She stood in a deserted crater, surrounded by unconscious people, with unknown numbers of corpses, and they surrounded her, smothering her with smoke and burning blood.
In all of her 17 years, the survivors played each other for survival, even as they pushed their teammates into the Zombie Horde. She had come from such an end, and yet she had felt unreservedly protected in a place she did not know was Earth.

Moyan leaned over and touched the nearest Grimm, who was still conscious, and opened his eyes slightly. But all his life force was used to offset the artillery fire, his hard armor cracked and unable to speak, blood streaming from his split lips, staining the pangolin’s tattered body red.
The Moyan did not dare to touch his wound, but said softly, “It’s all right, it’s all right.”
The eyes of loyalty looked at her face, gradually calm down, gradually lost focus.
Moyan stood up, wondering if her life was worth all this. She just looked at Joice standing there, feeling bitter and sour in her chest. “Why are you doing this?”
“Why lock down prisons, why throw depraved species into the desert, why divide people into classes, why attack?”
The entire garrison was in a state of shock, and the soldiers did not even know whether they should continue to hold their weapons. After all, if they’re gonna point a gun at a woman, no one’s gonna do it.
Joyce swallowed and forced himself to calm down. “Who are you? Why were you in District 12? Were you smuggled in or abducted by them?”
“Whatever you’re going through, the federal government will keep you safe and come to me right now,”Joice said, pointing to a green beside her, “There are those who are lucky enough not to die, who are already on the brink of a frenzy because of their full-blown abilities, and who will soon become degenerates, and it is dangerous there.”
Joice ignored the incongruity, knowing in his heart that there was more to it than meets the eye, but incredulous for no reason.
He held out his hand to the maiden and repeated, “Come to me, My Lady.”
The Moyan frowned, and she looked at him coldly. “Your eyes are lifeless,”she said. “Forgive me if I don’t understand your thinking.”
As she spoke, she raised her hand, and a wonderful force sprang up all over her, and she drew up the cleansing powers of her body, dividing them into equal parts, and dividing them again, till they were as fine as silk, and yet so compact.
She pulls these purified threads around the alienated person, bit by bit, and then gradually expands, letting the threads swirl in the air, enveloping more and more people, it has since expanded to cover 70% of the prison population.
Her heart was filled with pride, and her excitement pushed her to the limit of her potential. And because the strength of the overload, her body has a slight fluorescence, in this dark night as if covered with a layer of moonlight.
Joice couldn’t believe his eyes. It was as if he had been drawn to something. He had taken a step forward, but it was blocked by someone.
Peiji suddenly appeared, the cold eyes staring at him, Joice did not notice, he was hit on the ground spit out blood.
He raised his head on the broken stone and said eagerly, “You are crazy! Where did you get the purifier? Who Is she and why have I never seen her before?”
Joice thought he was going crazy: More to the point, he had just nearly killed a strange purifier woman with a laser atom bomb.
The Peiji looked down at him coldly, “None of your business.”
Joice said nothing. He wiped the blood from the corners of his mouth and looked at the girl who had been swept away by the cleansing power, some of the original shape is slowly fading, stable.

“She’s purging the felons...”Joyce couldn’t speak, his head buzzing. What kind of purifier can purify so many people at once? ! Even the senior purifier can’t do it, there are at least 20,000 people... who is she? !
Moyan, however, is not optimistic. She has found a general use for the power, dividing the fruit that has been given to a person into innumerable parts, and then stringing them together to form lines, so that the diluted power is not so strong, but it could cover more people, but she clearly overestimated her physical capacity.
A dull pain in the head, until the body to squeeze the last trace of purification, Moyan eyes a black, the whole person suddenly leaned back.
A second before she was to fall on the sand, many arms suddenly stretched out from the mountain beside her, and all those who had been seriously wounded and dying gathered their hands around her. Guerin was the one in the front, and pure streamers flowed in their eyes, the scars on his body were quickly healed with fierce speed, and his animal nature gradually dissipated. It’s a sign of purification. They were reborn by her power.
One by one, the people rose to their feet, able to support those who could not move, and even with the help of the cleansing power of the Moyan, there lay dead bodies, yellow sand on their faces, burying them forever in the desert.
Guerin carefully cradled Murphy’s face in his arms, and he stood beside him, shaking his long hair. All around them, tens of thousands of felons stood up, in a fan, their eyes red, staring straight ahead at the gaping fortification.
The prisoners were formidable, and the garrison soldiers, by contrast, were demoralized, full of hesitation and doubt.
In the silence, Romont said, “Commander, are we still attacking?”
Joice grinned at the nearest Peiji. Attack? Fuck you!
It took him a long time to choke out a few words: “All Retreat.”
Many of the soldiers behind were relieved that they did not want to fight.
As if Peiji hadn’t noticed, he took a step forward, and Joice suddenly raised his hand to stop him.
“Bae, what were you thinking? Why didn’t you tell me there was a strange purifier in District 12?”
The Mou son of Pei Ji Cheng yellow sweeps toward him: “Tell You?”? And watch her fall into the clutches of Parliament and government, contested by a bunch of retarded aristocrats who know nothing but to keep up with the Joneses? How Deep is the water in the upper third district of the Federation, and how many Purifiers died and went missing last year, do you not know?”
Joice paused. “I’ll protect her, and I won’t hurt her again, but no one else will,”he added. “Do you really think you can keep her safe with this mob of felons?”
Joice stared, as if in anger, “Let her stay here, paper cover fire, I will report to the emperor. As a concession, I can make a truce with you, do not pursue the punishment of your escape.”
Murphy looked at him with hostility. “Boss, we can fight! These people can’t be stopped.”
Many people behind him answered, but the Peiji did not speak. He turned to Gründau and said, “You take her into the fort.”
The peaceful felons froze for a moment and then exploded:
“Damn you, why!”
“We won the war!”
“You can’t put a lady in the hands of these people!”
Under fire, the Peiji never said a word.
Not far away Rajoy tore off a sleeve wrapped around the shoulder of the injury, he sneered a shake his head: “Can not hide.”
He pointed around, “There are ten thousand people here today. Even if we leave, he may face the twenty-one corps in the imperial capital. Will we still fight like this then? Who’s Gonna protect her? You? Or You? We can get her out of sector 12, but can we take on the entire federation? And when she does, you won’t be giving her a free life, you’ll be giving her an endless hunt.”
“She gave us new life, not to be ruined.”
No one will answer.
Joice watched the group’s expression change: “Relax, even if you go back to 12 district, you have the power to purify, there will be no danger of life, until the end of time served can be free.”. There is a purifier in District 12, and I can petition not to punish you.”
He stepped forward and held out his hand to Guerin. “So, give her to me.”
The latter glared, and Murphy bared his teeth.
Joice looked like the rightful heir, but the Peiji paid no attention to him. He turned to Guerin and repeated, “You take her in. She needs to rest. I’ll check on the others.”
The two men nodded, and, surrounded by the guards, entered the fortified fortress, which the prisoners could not enter, and the soldiers on either side of the road made way, neither daring to step forward, or even twisting their necks in an effort to look.
Joice was left standing: What Am I, invisible?

Ove Asia Region 1(imperial capital)
The huge buildings are arranged in the traditional square of China, surrounded by a circle of carved columns and tiles with a classical aesthetic. Inside, a number of crisscrossed roads are built, connecting one high-rise building to another with different functions.
This is the house of Ovia Asia, the legislative body that controls one of the three federal powers, the house and the Grand Chamber, and the federal government are located in the most expensive part of District 1.
The parliament occupies a large area, although its internal buildings are post-modern atmosphere, but still retain the aesthetic style of Chinese architecture, has always been a zone 15A class tourist attractions, every year full of tourists, to bring a large amount of revenue to the parliament.
But in addition to legislating, Congress controls a right that even the federal government envies -- the management of the Purifiers.
The areas of the house that are open to the public are public affairs, and only those that are involved in this area have to be checked in and out at every level, except for non-core members.
For No other reason than that every newly identified gifted purifier woman is sent to her central council school to be kept in isolation from society. So the tourists come here with the idea of bumping into one or two... even though it’s not possible.
In a pure white building near the central core, a sign reading “Purification Division 2”hangs on the door, and a wall of electronic screens scroll through text, with names written on the vertical axis. A group of men in uniform were coming and going, scribbling in papers.
“There has been a massive officer frenzy in the 10th Army, with an estimated number of 200, including two major generals,”Malo said, frowning. “At least a senior purifier would be needed to suppress it.”
“There are only 20 or so senior purifiers still in OVIEA, each with their own mission,”said his colleague Quique Setién. “Yesterday, Lord Ichabod had just cleansed the Third Army and needed a rest for a short period of time.
Malo’s gaze traveled across a constantly changing electronic screen that displayed the women’s names and locations, as well as their physical status, health status, and ability scores.
“Let us see which of the medium-sized purifiers are nearer, and let them support us,”said a voice from outside the door, and as they turned they saw a tall man with long golden hair approaching, with a section of white silk tied, gently down to the waist, in the sun as if it will shine. The monocle on the bridge of his nose gave him a gentlemanly air, like a walking tulip.
“Senator,”said Malo, bowing their heads.
Bai Yixing swept the document in the hand of the other side, NOD: “I will tell with Jing Yi, let him temporarily take over the Third Army, you don’t have to worry, it will be all right.”
“Yes,”Malo said with a sigh of relief, assured by the House Elder
Dispatch purifier is to need to approve, and the route and list are top secret, two people are processing, suddenly emergency contact phone rang.
Quique Setién took one look at the caller ID: “Who?”
“It’s strange, it’s the border guards. What could they want with us?”Malo answered. “Commander Duncan? Hello.”
Only two seconds later his face changed, first in shock, then in disbelief, red and white more wonderful than the movie.
“Yes, yes, I know, I’ll report back later, no, I’m Going Now!”Marlow hung up, still in a daze of shock.
Quique Setién pushed him. “What’s the matter with you? Is Something Wrong?”
Marlowe swallowed and looked to the side of the White Star. “Senator, the garrison commander, Sir Joice Duncan, said he had picked up a miss... Purifier.”

Of Men and Dragons, Book 1
Book 1 is now available on Kindle, or in paperback/hardcover! You can buy it here! Jack crash-landed on a planet where the natives are seven-foot-tall carnivorous cat-lizards currently somewhere between stone and bronze age. The good news is the natives think the ship that crashed into their mountain is a dragon and are steering clear of it. The bad news is they just left one of their own as a sacrifice to appease the beast. No matter what Jack and his AI co-pilot decide, his life just got a lot more complicated... ATTENTION: This is soft sci-fi rather than hard sci-fi, hence why I chose that tag. For those of you unfamiliar with the distinction, here's what Wikipedia had to say. 1. It explores the "soft" sciences, and especially the social sciences (for example, anthropology, sociology, or psychology), rather than engineering or the "hard" sciences (for example, physics, astronomy, or chemistry). 2. It is not scientifically accurate or plausible; the opposite of hard science fiction. Soft science fiction of either type is often more concerned with character and speculative societies, rather than speculative science or engineering. The term first appeared in the late 1970s and is attributed to Australian literary scholar Peter Nicholls.
