《Broken》Chapter 5.1 Atlas

Why do I hate everyone so much?
He knew no one would reply but wanted to ask. He looked at his gate and thought about what he would do the next time he visited.
"I can do this, I can put up with those people for Levy"
He didn't like them in the least. He hated them like he hated everyone else. He wanted them dead and gone. The only issue he felt was that his heart rate would increase around some of them. He found this annoying and had a plan in mind. His father and his two best friends told him if he needed any help with anything to call them.
Even the flashes in his mind that showed him the death of all had become more common. He decided he needed two pill a day to keep up with the devil within.
He got his phone out and began to dial. He waited a few second and heard Logan.
"Hey kid" Said Logan as gunfire filled the background.
"Is that gunshots?"
"Yeah, but are you hurt, what going on?!" More gunfire.
"I need advice about girls" Said Lucius.
"Can this wait?" Said Logan.
"I think I like her" Said Lucius.
"Just do what your dad would.... Never mind don't do what he would do. You might get someone pregnant if you do that. Just be midway between him and I"
"What about John's method?" Said Lucius.
"That's funny, he doesn't like anything but food" Said Logan.
"Is that kid?" A heavy voice spoke up.
"Yeah, he's getting girl advice" Replied Logan.
"That's my boy! Get some!" He heard his father say just before Logan hung up.
"What would a in-between be?" Lucius spoke aloud. This was a rare situation in which he didn't have an answer.

He began to think of what the solution could be. He knew his father was in his own words a whore. Logan had a method that Lucius favored. It involved not talking to the girl you like, and pretending they don't exist. His father had a different approach. He had no intention of attempting what his father would have recommended.
He would deal with this problem later, he had places to go.
He made the markings necessary to travel through the gate. He placed it down and took a deep breath. Traveling to a pocket dimension took the breath out of him. He had the timer set for three hours. He knew time was faster in the gate so he was ready for a full week of learning. He body was shifted to another world. He looked around and saw limitless trees. He knew they loved nature almost as much as they loved visitors.
"ATLAS!" Yelled the girl with light red eyes.
It was Havana. Her gray hair was draped over her creamy California gold skin. She hugged him and kissed his cheek.
"How long has it been?" Said Atlas.
"Well about one hundred and thirteen days" Said Havana.
"You don't look a day older" Said Atlas as they walked to the city.
"That's a perk of living for millions of years" Said Havana.
She was just a few decades old but could live till the day Earth turned to dust.
"Well you don't seem to grow either" Said Atlas poking at her side.
"Are you calling me flat?" Said Havana with a raised eyebrow.
She was anything but. She seemed around Levy's physical age.
Flat? Insufficient context for a proper comprehension of new vocabulary.
"I am saying you are not very tall" Said Atlas.
She picked up a stick and used it as a sword.

"This is a battle you can't win" Said Atlas with a half smile.
He grabbed a stick as well. They both turned the sticks into iron rods using alchemy. They began to clash blades and Atlas shattered her blade as usual.
"Told you" Said Atlas.
"I expected nothing less. You are her son after all" Said Havana.
Atlas felt pride that his intellect had surpassed most older Noah. He knew he was smarter than his father years ago. He was only allowed to use what he invented in this world. Earth would most likely abuse what he created. Most everything he made had been made by his mother in the past. But she wanted him to try and improve anyway.
"So what have you been up to?"
"Just spending time with Levy and her friends" Replied Atlas.
"Any luck with that girl you like?"
"No, but her sister may be able to help me"
"So, do you mind taking me outside next time?"
"Well, If the Elders let you"
"But they're no fun. They won't let me go anywhere"
"I will convince them" Said Atlas.
The forest had a cool breeze run through it. Atlas enjoyed how vast the world was. He knew it was larger than Jupiter by a few thousand miles. Well five thousand two hundred and twelve square miles more to be exact.
"Do you like anyone" Said Atlas.
She stopped and smiled.
"Why do you want to know?"
She had a short dress and a shirt that resembled a sports bra. She tugged at her white dress and looked up at his eyes. Her long thick lashes waved to him as her light pink lips parted slightly.
"Just want to know" He replied.
"Well he has really interesting eyes and he is really smart. He is always nice to me but I don't get to spend much time with him" Said Havana.
Atlas knew she must be talking about Ario.
"Do you always have the same clothing?" Said Atlas.
"Well it's part of being a Noah I guess, we have always had this type of clothing. Well everyone but the Elders" Said Havana.
They reached the river and Havana gave him an interesting look.
"It's so hot!" She exclaimed reaching for the toes. She ran her fingers through the snow colored sand and looked him up and down.
"It seems fine to me" said Atlas.
She walked over to him "Let take a little swim".
Atlas wanted to get to the city but he wanted to refresh himself before walking the ten miles they had left.
He removed his shirt and pants. His shorts were more than enough.
"Oooh that looks nice" Havana winked.
"They do don't they" Said Atlas looking at his shorts.
She placed her clothing on a tree alongside his. Far in the distance were clouds beginning to roll in. Atlas felt the warm water and jumped right in. He dashed beneath the water and popped back up.
"Feels good doesn't it!" Yelled Havana.
"It does"
What is that supposed to mean? Is it a feeling? If so I probably don't know.
He didn't really understand what that meant. To feel good. He often said it himself but still didn't understand.
She swam over "Want to know what would feel better".
He had a list of things in his mind. But cared not to mention what they were.
"What?" Asked Atlas.
"A kiss" She replied leaning in.
She kissed his cheek and looked into his eyes

So I'm a cat, what now?
It seems I've reincarnated into a fantasy world as a cat. What now? This is my first publically published story, and I would love feedback in any form as I have no idea how well the quality of my writing holds up. This story will have light litRPG elements, though I won't dig into numbers much, since I don't enjoy fiddling with them. The tone will be generally light, and I willl probably try to throw some comedy in there as well. The beginning will be Slice of Life, and unless I come up with a longer plot that I like it will stay that way.
