《Dream Theater》Chapter 14

The cogs moved from left to right, from right to left, from up to down, in an endless movement which in two centuries had been interrupted only a handful of times. People used to saw them as mere cogs, instruments to a purpose.
But as years went by and mundane institutions became unstable people started seeing something divine in those mechanisms. The blueprints became more and more unreadable, their physics appeared more and more complex until the word divine didn’t become appropriate for describing many of them them.
Obliviously mechanics knew how a cog turned but the grand scheme of things was out of their reach.
Looking at them one realizes the brevity of one’s existence. Those cogs were moving before their grandfather was born and they will continue to move after their grandson had died. They were eternal, immune to decay, immune to disease, perfect in any way, unknowledge. Divine.
> said James.

Pxan shook his head and remembered where he was > he took a better look at the corpse >

Pxan looked in the distance, at those monumental machines built by titans in ancient times >
They found him busy fixing a broken engine, with all his hands black as charcoal. He had a mechanical arm attached to its shoulder, useful for working faster but not for common living.

Some days after the whole zone had bared wires and a warning sign. Better than nothing.
> James looked at him with worried eyes

James wasn’t much relieved by its answer, something was wrong, something was left unsaid
Once got back home Pxan trowed himself on the sofa and nearly collapsed into a black sleep. His house was dirty, the floor was full of dust, the bathroom was becoming unusable and the kitchen looked like a car graveyard.
In the back of its mind he knew what was happening, it happened to him in the past, but with all the work to do and the prosthetics he couldn’t let himself be carried over by dark thoughts.
“I need help.”

Curiosity Killed The Imp
A/N: On hiatus (higher priority). The story is planned out but I need to do some rewriting for clarity and cohesiviness. Still very interested in the story though. Aeris is a place of endless conflict. Bloody evolution is the way forward, and the closed fist is the path given. Life is a luxury granted only to the strong. In a tiny corner, at the edge of a volcanic land, is born an imp. An imp no different from any other save one thing. An anomaly in its code. A blip in its creation. For unlike other imps, this one was born…curious. Book Cover by Betty Elgyn: https://www.deviantart.com/bettyelgyn

8 196Coin Event
Otake Katsuro is a young 20-year-old male, he is barely able to live with the money he makes from his job while he also goes to college. Katsuro one night is walking home from his job when the richest man in the world approaches him. The man named "Tokuda Tatsuo" approaches him and gives him a unique coin and tells him something. He says "In an hour, I will tell the world about the coin I gave you, in a week after announcing it I will leave my inheritance to whoever returns the coin back to me" "I won't accept the coin until a week has passed by" I got the idea of this story from a video I came across by and decided to make a story on it Art work from Waifu Labs
8 170Mr.Easy's adventure in One Piece
A self-insert story(as much logic as it can have or I can put in it), a little different than most, as the name says about his personality, he is easy-going (lazy). Lazy in a sense as he doesn't care most of the time what’s happening to the world. (NOTE: Mr. Easy (I) do not care much about going with the straw hats that much (well, you will see that in about a few chapters, but still this will revolve around them.) DON'T HOPE TOO MUCH ORIGINAL (ONE PIECE) STORYLINE FROM ME (just saying not shouting), because if you don't cause some changes then what’s the point in going in a fiction.
8 97Guide to Reincarnation: What NOT To Do
I am Aria Dwestella Monfonte De’Pelier. For both our sakes, let’s keep it to my maiden name, Aria Johann. I created this book so if you ever get reincarnated, you won't make my mistakes. I have lived many lives, but this book focuses on my life in a fantasy world. Some of my tips include how not to deal with dragons, why you shouldn't reveal you have magical talent, and why royals are stupid. I have fun with my friends, become hated by the gods, and become (to-be) empress of the entire world. Oh yeah, and everyone gets tortured. That's what, tip number 47? Keep your loved ones close and your sanity closer.
8 157Underground Laboratory: Secrets
Hyle Labs was a government-funded project. Camellia's father was hired to create human weapons of war and armor. Anything that would help Valier win his war. Raven was a test subject. A scientists child used to create a human soldier who would fight continuously. After everything was destroyed Camellia seeks answers for the deaths of so many people, while Raven wants nothing to do with what was left of the underground laboratory. Still, the two find themselves working together along with Curtis, Camellia's bodyguard to find answers. Answers that have a lot to do with test subject Rose and how she survived despite being unable to survive. And while they manage to catch Rose, she isn't so lenient about giving them answers, risking her own life and theirs to keep her lips sealed. however, finding out that her father may be part of the reason the facility was wrecked in such a manner has her asking more questions than she thought.
