"I am leaving in the morning. I shall be going and wont reture for at least 10 years if I ever do. Do not feel sad or cry, it is the way of these things. I have planned out my route and will follow it to the letter so if you ever want to know were I am just look up the date and find a good map."

"Send a call my way if you ever have trouble and I will try to help. Now just remember to dream big and aim high. The worst thing that clould happen is that you fail and learn something new."

"Dare to dream, be inspired by it and do what you feel is right. Never beat your chest and always try to be the bigger person."

"On last story for the road."

My sister once wrote me to ask if I cared to see what she was working on. She got me permission to see inside NASA during the time of the space launches.

It was not easy especially with how much I had traveled. Why turst someone that could be compromised like that they said. Well my sister showed them what for and told them that my true loyalty was only to my family and the causes that they supported. I would do anything for her and she for me.

When I was there it became known that I had survival experience and a man named Neil asked me for any advice I could give. I told him that if things go wrong the best thing he could do was breath. He knew that of course but what I said next made him think.

I told him that when things enevatibly go wrong the best thing for him to do would be something. That if you stay still for to long you will panic and stop thinking clearly. Make a check list and go over it endlessly if you have to but never stop acting.

In the wild you would get ready to make a fire to stay warm. Gather firewood, build pit, get kindlin, so on and so forth. Have some skills that may be useful and just do them. Anything to take your mind off of where you are and put it on where you will be tomorrow.

That is the key to surviving when all hope is lost. I do not know if my advice helped him any but I like to think that it kept him calm at the very least. That the knowledge that there is no magic solution or rabit to pull out of a hat would spur him to action.

Let that be the final ace up your sleave and remember that we all cheat at life, it is just who cheats better that wins!
