《An old mans tale!》Eye of the Beholder!

"You wonder why that was a tale of Worth. Its because in life you need a worthy cause and we were not willing to sit back just because we were safe."
"We stood up and did what needed to be done. I only hope that you will have the bravry to do the same if fate should ever call on you."
"Now to follow such a grim tale how about something that is more peaceful and who knows maybe you young bucks will stop sleeping in till noon?"
It was a spring day when my friend sugested that we go and watch the sunrise on the very next day. We all decided that it was a good idea and that if we were going to do it we would do it right. Knowing of a nice spot on a rather small mountian right near the top I said that we might as well have the best view possible. So the plan was made: we would make sandwiches, grab a case of beer, climb the mountian, and eat our breakfast while drinking a cold one as the sun rose on a good new day.
We showed up early at a mear 3 in the morning and got to climbing. It was slow going but we were not going to let that stop us, oh no! Up the mountian we went with ropes to stop our fall if anything unfortunate should happen. Was it tough yes, was it pointless some would think so, but to us it was just what we had decided to do on a nice spring morning. We did make it up the mountian just so you know. Set ourselves up to watch the sun rise.
There we were eating sandwiches just how our mothers used to make and watching the sun rise on a new day. Drinking our beers and just enjoying ourselves in the first rays of dawn. We each sighed in turn because of how serene the sky was. Painted in so many pinks and purples the likes of which we had never seen before. It inspired us to be the men and women that we would grow into.

Sense that day I have seen 10,000 sunrises and sunsets all across the entire world. Over the Gobi Desirt and across the African Suvana. The frozen tundra of Alaska and every where in between and to this day not a one has been the same as that first beautiful moment. They have all been aww inspiring and breaththaking but not a one has been the same.
We came off that mountin at around 11:30 far different then we went up that is for sure.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
