《Emerald》16

That morning, I woke up earlier than ever.
I had to cover up those hickies on my neck, Hermione would have a rage over it.
It took a while, but I did it. While I was at it, I did a full face of makeup and even straightened my hair.
Might as well, I wasn't gonna go back to sleep.
I put on my bra and new underwear, I put on my white button up shirt and my red plaid skirt. I slipped on my thigh high gray socks, and my black shoes.
I threw my tie over my shoulders and grabbed my wand and text books, before walking into the Gryffindor common room for some coffee.
I poured myself a cup, and sat down on the couch.
"You're up early." Ginny said, pouring herself a cup of coffee.
"Oh Ginny, can you tie my tie for me?" I asked her with a smile.
"You still haven't learned how to tie it?" She laughed, as she quickly tied it perfectly.
"No, I probably never will. Thank you." I laughed, as I quietly sipped my coffee.
I washed my cup out and put it away, before grabbing my books and heading to class.
I sat down in the back of the herbiology class, I didn't even bother waiting for Hermione.
She was mad at me, probably wouldn't talk to me till she talked to Cedrick.
"We are working in partnerships today, I will assign. We are working on healing with plants today. Once you get together with your partner, go to page 212, and begin your work." Professor spoke loudly too the class.
"Harry, and Ronald. Ms Hermione, and Cedrick. Mr Malfoy, and Ms. Stewart...." Professor went on and paired up the class.
Being paired up with Draco didn't help with trying to persuade Hermione, but her being paired up with Cedrick will.

Draco came, and stood next to me at the table in the back of the room.
Hermione and Cedrick sat at the table in the front, right hand corner of the room.
Their table faced us, I think she chose that spot to watch Draco and I.
I opened my book up to 212, and quickly read the directions.
I began grinding the dried leaves up, while Draco mixed and measured the liquid parts.
"You covered those up well." Draco whispered under his breath.
He looked over at me through his blonde hair, as he cracked a little smile.
"You didn't cover yours at all." I said glancing up from my book, and over at his neck quickly.
He had large purple bruises on the sides of his neck.
I cleared my throat slightly, before returning my eyes back to my work.
"Well, if you didn't make them so big, my shirt would have covered them." Draco said, attempting to pull the collar of his shirt up higher.
It didn't help much, you could still see the bruises peaking over his collar.
"You could have asked me to stop." I whispered to him.
The classroom was full of chatter, but I couldn't risk Hermione listening.
"What if I didn't want you to?" Draco took a small step closer to me.
His words caressed my skin as we bumped elbows.
"Careful, we've got a set of eyes today." I glanced up at Hermione, and Cedrick.
They were hard at work, but talking back and forth quickly.
They both would glance up at me every once in a while.
I poured the powdered leaves into the larger bowl, then began grinding up the roots.
"Five minutes into next class, meet me in the closet by the boys bathroom." Draco whispered, as he dragged his finger tips across the bare skin on my upper thigh.

I bit my lip trying to hold back my smile.
After that class was dismissed, I began walking to Snape's room. I had a study hall that day along with a few other students.
"Courtney!" I heard Hermione yell as she ran up to me.
"What?" I asked her as I continued to walk fast.
"I owe you an apology." She held her books tightly to her chest.
"Well you've gotta make it quick, I don't want to be late for Snape." I told her as I continued my fast pace.
"I'm sorry for not believing you, I talked to Cedrick... and he told me what happened. " Hermione replied.
"Ok thank you, I'll talk to you later Hermione." I said, as I continued to walk fast to Snapes class room.
I took my seat in Snapes class, at one of the back tables. I opened my note book, and presented like I was studying.
I watched the clock tick by.
Once it hit five minutes, I got up from my chair, and went up to snape.
"I have to grab something from my room, and I have to use the bathroom." I told him.
"Alright." Snape said slowly, not even looking up from his papers.
I walked out his room, and as soon as the door shut behind me, I ran.
I knew Draco and I didn't have much time to work with.
Anything past 15 minutes, Snape would come looking for me.
I knew I shouldn't be sneaking around with Draco, but I couldn't help myself.
He had a grip on me.
He was bad, and I knew it.
But, I think that's why I wanted him even more.
I made it to the little closet by the boys bathroom, the light was on inside.
I looked both ways down the hallway before I cracked the door open.
There stood Draco, smiling in the dusty closet.
"Have I told you, but you look lovely today?" Draco said,as he stepped closer to me.
"Shut the light off, you can see it under the door." I walked in, and locking the door behind me.
"Ok, we don't have much time." Draco said flicking the lights off.
