I remember when we used to watch the sunset.

When we'd talk and run around the neighborhood

until the streetlights came on;

signaling us it's time to go inside.

When we'd laugh at the dumbest things,

and make up the craziest games in our heads.

We were so young..

Why did we grow up?

We went our separate ways,

and now life has changed..

I miss being a kid.

I miss my childhood best friend..
