As I walked downstairs, I heard the family laughing about something and it sounded like music to my ears, if that was even possible. I thought of my mother, she should be here any minute. I walked into the kitchen, slightly uneasy because I felt like I was interrupting their family conversation.

They all looked at me and smiled. I could hear them saying, "Come here", "Sit next to me here", and "Come eat, beau".

I took a seat next to Luke because it was the only empty spot on the counter. Took me a while to know that they order five boxes of extra large pepperoni pizzas and my mind made up one decision; they are food monsters.

Someone whispered in my ear quietly, bringing goosebumps into my spine.

"We are large, so we need extra large foods."

I whispered back immediately. "This is how much a bulldozer eats."

A laugh escaped from the Hemmings brothers' mouth and they kept on eating, a smile still plastered on their faces. I couldn't help, but smile along with them and started eating the pizzas.

A knock on the front door and I told them, "I will go get it." Opening the door and bringing me to my mother made a big sigh of relief escaped from my mouth. A part of me said Justin could have been at the front door, but another part of me said it was impossible. Either way, I got my mother safely back into my arms.

Luke helped me with my mother's luggage into another room across mine. As we settled all the bags inside the medium sized room, Luke told a joke that I didn't find humorous at all.

"Hey, wanna hear a joke?" Luke smiled cheekily.

His smile was so contagious and it made my lips turned upward, gesturing him to continue.

He giggled a little. "What do you call a snake that is 3.14 feet long?"

My smile immediately died and was replaced with a frown. I looked down and said, "A piethon."

Luke seemed to notice my uneasiness, because he held a cute frown on his face and said, "I thought math puns are the best."

Before I could reply anything, Luke phone rang and he looked at the caller holding a poker face, showing me his pointer finger up signalling that he had to excuse himself out the room. I nodded a little and I heard him got out of the room.

I went downstairs again to find an unfamiliar guy sitting in the living room, holding a Takis while eating them up. My head cocked to the side and shocked expression replaced my confused one.

What?

Cliffhanger aye? 😛 Double update, or may be triple soon for my boy's birthday 😁
