Testing Fate

Part 2

*Justin's POV*

I walked into the familiar house setting the food on the table before going to get plates out of her cabinet.

"You moved things," I notes as I saw the drinking glasses where the plates used to be.

"Of course. It has been 5 years, I had to change things sometime," she said taking a seat at the table as I handed her a plate.

"You have until I finish eating. When I'm done you leave," she said serving herself some of the Chinese food I brought.

I nodded and took a seat sighing before I started my speech. "Look I know I may be 5 years too late but I'm sorry. I was really immature for walking out on you like that. It wasn't fair to you or to the baby and I'm truly sorry to both of you. I was completely selfish. You never deserved to be treated that way and I'm truly sorry I did. I've spent every day for the past 5 years regretting what I did."

"Why didn't you come back then?" She asked not breaking contact with me as she put another bite into her mouth.

"I was scared. I left so I assumed you hated me and didn't want me in your life. There were times I tried to call but I chickened out. I even came to your house once but you weren't home, so I figured it was a sign until tonight. You know I don't believe in coincidences so when as were put together tonight it was a sign that I needed to man up and confess my wrongs," I said being 100% honest.

She nodded silently as she pushed her plate away.

"I guess you're done now. I'll just show myself out," I sighed turned on the heels of my feet walking out of the kitchen.

"Wait," she said stopping me.

I turned around to face her wondering what was going through her head and hoping maybe she would change her mind.

"You left your keys," she said avoiding eye contact as she roughly handed them to me. "You know where the door is, don't you? It may have been 5 years since you walked out of it so I don't want you to get lost," she said in a sarcastic tone and she bumping into my as she brushed past me.

I let out a frustrated grunt, before walking out of the house swiftly.

As soon as I got in my car I pulled out of the drive way whipping out my phone to call my go-to man.

"Hello?" he answered sounding like he had just woken up.

"She's driving me insane man. Insane!" I repeated as I angrily drove down the streets of L.A.

"What? Who?" he asked clearing his throat.

"Selena man. Selena."

"Oh gosh, I thought we got over this," he whined.

"I'm on my way over. Be descent when I get there," I said pulling around the street corner.

*Selena's POV*

"What?" I yelled into the phone not bothering to look at it because let's face it my little chat with Justin helped nothing.

I knew that I should have been flattered that he was mad at himself for leaving me pregnant, alone, but I wasn't. To be honest, it only made me more upset.

"Well hello to you too," Francia said into the phone with a laugh.

"Sorry, I just haven't had a good night," I sighed wiping the make-up off my face as I adjusted the phone between my shoulder and ear.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Well you know the billboards were tonight and how they were having the secret seating chart? Well guess who just happened to be sitting next to me?"

"I have a pretty good idea," she said.

"Yup that's right. Justin Bieber, OMG," I said in a fake preppy voice. "So I leave and he follows me home and makes this speech about how he's sorry and he was immature and blah blah blah. Ugh, I can't stand the kid!" I let out a scream, blowing off steam.

"Sel, are you saying this because you still have feeling for him and you are mad about what he did or because you truly don't like him?" she asked.

"Excuse me?" I bit back offended by what she was saying. "Are you accusing me of still being in love with him?" I asked raising the tone of my voice.

"Selena calm down, it was just a question. I didn't know you would get this offended. Just forget I said anything," she sighed realizing how upset I really was.

"Whatever," I said. "I have to go bye."

I hung up the phone before she even had a chance to respond.

Maybe I was being a little over the top by going at her throat and hanging up on her but I was just done with the world right now.

Honestly, who does Justin think he is, waltzing in as apologizing and I'm sure he was assuming he was either going to get some or get back together. Wrongo, pongo.
