The loud annoying iPhone ringtone, mixed with the buzz sounds, echo all around Tino's room.
"Tino get your phone." I groggily mumble with shut eyes.
When the annoying sound continues I boast my eyes open and sit up straight quickly but soon regret it as the blood rushes to my head.
I blink a couple of times and notice that it's my phone making the horrible noise.
I quickly grab and answer it without looking who it is.
"Who are you? And why you calling at such ungodly hours?" I spit with a venomous tone.
"Harley. It's Micah." His familiar voices responds with a worried, scared tone.
"Micah? What's wrong? What happened?" I now begin to worry myself.
"It's...it's Lauren...she's..." He stutters.
"Micah! Use your damn words!" I started to become frustrated.
"I don't know...she's not good. She's at the hospital and she was bleeding...she went give the divorce papers to Gregg...and now..." He begins to sob.
"Micah. The hell is going on?" Worry starts to seriously build up in me.
"Harley, Lauren needs assistance but she won't until she sees you. The baby could die if she doesn't receive help." He voice wobbles.
I squeeze my eyes shut.
This is too much for me.
Why won't she just take the damn help without me present?
I sigh. "Micah, I am about six hours and thirty minutes away from you. Tell her to take the help and I'll be there as soon as I can." I start to jump out of bed.
"I'll try to convince her. Please...just...please come." He pleads and I agree before I hang up.
"What's wrong?" Valentino's groggy voice startles me a bit.
"So many things." I say as I start picking up my clothes.

"Like?" He pries for more information.
"How I need to get my ass to Seattle because of Lauren's naive ass." I angrily change into last night's clothes.
"Woah, woah. Harley." I turn to him with a stoic look. "I thought we talked about the obsessive traveling." He argues.
"Yes we did, Tino. But this is an emergency. A little life or death situation. Now I'm leaving to Seattle. I'll be back as soon as I can." I put on my shoes and start my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
Once I've brushed my teeth and rinsed my face, I head down to the kitchen.
"Harley, I get it's an emergency but you have to at least take care of yourself too." He reasons and I take out an apple from the fridge.
"Tino." I turn to him with a deadpan. "I will take care of myself when all this shit storm has passed." I text my driver to come fetch me.
"Okay, fine. At least let me come with you so I can take care of you." He gives in.
"Fine but you have five minutes to get ready." I say.
He heads back into the room and I take my first bite of the apple.
For some reason I find the juice so nauseating that I rush to the sink and gag as the vomit oozes out.
Just when I think that I've got everything out of my system, more vomit rushes out.
As the vomit harshly rushes out of my system, I feel a firm hand rub up and down my back.
My heart swells with a but of hope and joy knowing that Tino's here for me.
Once I'm certain, it's all out,I rinse my mouth and straighten my posture.

I'm panting and feeling weak as most of my energy supply has just been thrown up.
"This ain't fun." Is all I could utter.
"I know." He wraps his arms around my waist from behind. "But in the end it'll all be worth it. When you get to hold them in your arms, you'll realise how it was all worth it." He moves his hand to feel the small bump of my stomach. "It'll all be worth it in the end." He kisses my temples and I close my eyes, letting the psychotic butterflies go crazy in my stomach.

"Micah? We've just landed and we're on our way to the hospital." I say over the phone as we descend from the phone.
"Please get here soon...Lauren really needs you." His voice sounds defeated and sad.
"We're on our way." Tino and I enter the SUV waiting for us.
We buckle our seatbelts and the driver hurries on to the hospital.
After 20 gruesome minutes of driving we finally arrive at the hospital.
I hop out of the car before the car even fully stops and Tino follows behind me.
I head to the receptionist and ask about Lauren, telling her who I am to her and she tells me to head to room 503.
Once I have the room number, I head straight to the elevator and impatiently wait to get to the 7th floor.
After a couple of frustrating minutes we finally arrive at the 7th floor and I run out of the elevator looking for 503.
I quickly find her room and I barge in without knocking, finding Lauren in bed with Micah sitting beside her, holding her hand.
"Lauren." My voice comes out as a whisper.
She lifts her head with tears streaming down her face.
"Harley." Her voice cracks as she calls out my name.
I hurry to her side and hug her tightly.
"What happened?" I worriedly ask but she only sobs.
"He ki–killed her."

Shadow in the North
What if a work of fiction wasn't fiction at all? What if we only thought it was fiction because it was written down, and we were separated from it by the page? Isabel Darrow, troubled by her past and feeling disconnected from the world, likes her doctor's suggestion that the world of fiction might become reality. She likes the idea of waking up in the middle of her favourite book with the handsome, brooding Mr Thornton glaring at people in his mill yard, but she doesn't worry about the foul air of dirty, smoky Milton, because it's not real, and it was written over 160 years ago.But then she takes a trip to Oxford, and gets waylaid along the way, finding herself greeted at a smoky train station, by a man called Mr Hale, who claims to be her godfather. When Isabel meets Margaret and first sees Mr Thornton, she's determined to help the course of love run a little more smoothly for the two stubborn lovers. But Gaskell hadn't accounted for a second young lady in the Crampton house, and whilst Isabel tries to adapt to a life where women have no independence or equality, Milton must adapt to her. The question is, will Mr Thornton adapt to her, or Margaret, first?
