Milanas PoV

"And I've been sober now for 10 years"

Me and the rest of the room clapped. The woman who had a bun turned to me.

"Tell us your name and your story" she said in a calm voice. I felt 15 pairs of eyes burn into my skin. I stood myself up and took a deep breath in

"Hello, I'm milana, well it all started from a wrong turn to a bathroom in his very room..."

~~a few years later~~

I wrapped my arm tightly around her shoulder, standing at the top of the hill looking up into the night sky

The same one as him

"You know, when someone dies they turn into a star, and they shine the brightest for us" I told her

Like my mother once told me

"Who's that then" she asked pointing a massive bright star, shining next to another bright star.

I rubbed my hand along her should before ducking down to her height

I pointed my finger towards the star

The same hand I held the gun

"That one, that's an angel"

A fallen one

"How do you know" she asked, looking deep into my eyes

"Because I use to know that Angel, he was one that fell from heaven, and couldn't heal the scars" I then moved my finger so it pointed to the star next to it

"And that's the (angel who fell with him, but she didn't get any scars, because he took hers"

"Why did he do that for her"

"Because he was her angel, when your old I'll tell you a story, the story off that star and me, I'll tell you all about him and his powers" I smiled at her as I stood up

"Okay, so where is daddy" she asked, her big brown eyes look up at me, her brown locks whirling in the wind

I looked back up at the sky and locked my eyes onto him.

I lifted up her little hand, squatting down by her as not to pull her arm. I pointed it upwards

"Look where your pointing and you'll see him" I smiled, she looked and I watched as little eyes widened, she then turned to me and wrapped her little arms around me

"Does this mean no more nights alone" she whispered to me. I nodded and whipped the hair away from her eyes

"No more nights alone" I whispered in response.

I turned back around and locked my eyes back on the airplane which was going to soon drop into the airport.

He had been working aboard so I hadn't seen him in a few months and neither had she. I knew that he was arriving tonight so I took her to the hill so she could see him.

I then felt a jolt in my stomach

"Baby kicked" I laughed as I placed her hand on my stomach so she could feel if he was to do it again. He did and I watched as her face lit up

"Anyway, let's go pick daddy up from the airport"

Thats right.

Dylan was set free that night.

I left the cabin and walked all the way back to my apartment. My plants where dead, I had a pile of post, 500 voices messages.

It felt wrong but I was free. I did call the police and got it sorted and what not.

I then joined the alcoholic anonymous group. I drank to deal with it, some nights I did feel like I was going to go crazy, re living all the events I went though and just trying to ease the feeling. I met my husband at the group and had a daughter and she had a brother on the way.

Even though my life is going back on track and seems like an normal life. Husband had a good paying job and I have a beautiful family forming, I still think about Dylan everyday.

And wonder if my mother was right

If when someone dies they really do go into a star, and shine the brightest for us
