《HIS》T W E N T Y - S I X

Sleeping in Carter’s bed, in their bed, was a different experience than she had expected. But nothing had felt better.
Trying not to wake him up, she swung her legs over the bed and stretched. A soft moan came from behind her, but he didn’t move. With a gentle smile for the sleeping man, she stood up and realized that all she was wearing were her panties. There was a shirt slung over the end of the bed that she snatched up and pulled over her head. It smelled like Carter which made her smile more.
In the kitchen, she rummaged through the cabinets and the fridge, trying to decide what she wanted to make for breakfast. There were several options and she wasn’t sure what his favorite was, so she opted to make a little of everything.
A soft pat on her butt was the first announcement that he was awake. The next came in the form of a kiss at the base of her neck. “Good mornin’.”
“Morning.” She twisted around to place her arms around his waist and pulled him close to her.
“What’re ya doin’?” He peered over her head to see the assortment of food cooking before flashing her a wide smile.
“What does it look like?” Sloane gave him a squeeze before turning around to flip the sausage patties and stir the gravy.
“Ooh. Getting sassy, are we?” If he hadn’t chuckled and gave her thigh a little pinch, she would have questioned if he’d known she had been teasing.
“Perhaps.” She shrugged and focused on cooking so that it wouldn’t burn.
“Well, you want any help?”
“Nope. Go away. You relax and let me spoil you.” Her shooing motions made him move.
Feeling useless, he grabbed the plates and silverware. Not knowing if she planned to spoon everything out from the kitchen, he hesitated to set the table. After scowling for a few minutes, he decided they would leave the food in the pots and pans and make their plates there. The table was small and didn’t offer much space to display a buffet.

With nothing else to do, he leaned against the counter, out of her way, and watched. The heat from the oven and stove had a thin sheen of sweat forming on her face and neck, her hair sticking out every now and then. Noticing this, he went to the bathroom and grabbed the elastic hair tie she had been wearing when he rescued her.
“Hold on for a sec.”
Once she stopped moving, he gathered her hair and tied it in a loose ponytail that trailed down her back. “Thanks.”
It wasn’t too much longer before she was done. Together, they grabbed a plate and started piling food on it.
“Mmm. It all looks so good.” His eyes were large as he sat down and stared at the mound he’d created. “You really didn’t have to do this.”
“But I wanted to. You’re always cooking for me. You’ve taken care of me and helped my foot heal.”
“Why wouldn’t I?”
The sounds of their silverware clanking against the plates was all they heard as they continued to eat. Both wore contented looks, relishing their breakfast with one another.
“I’ll clean up.” As he stood up, he gathered his plate and glass.
“No. You don’t have to. I can do it.” Before any argument could be made, she had taken the items from his hands. “I told you, go relax.”
“I wish. I need to go finish my orders. I kinda only got halfway.” The swing of her hips as she walked with the dishes to the sink was becoming distracting. “I wanted to be with you, so I stopped early.”
“Aww. You’re just the sweetest.” Her smile weakened his knees.
“I better go.” Making himself tear his eyes away from her, he went to the bedroom and got dressed. Within a few minutes, she was standing in the doorway, wearing his shirt and a sexy grin.
“Don’t take too long.” The purr in her voice distracted him, but not as much as the view he gained when he looked up.
She slid her arm up the door jam to expose her upper thighs and the bottom of her panties.

“I sure won’t.” He had her in his arms in seconds and he spun her around to the bed. “What do you do to me?”
“Carter!” Before she could do anything, he had thrown her onto the bed and was already undressing himself. She gave him a wink once he made eye contact with her. “What do you want me to do?”
“Jeez, woman.” His growl turned her on and she ripped at the shirt.
“No. Leave it on. Just take off your undies.”
“Okay.” Sloane nodded and smoothed out the shirt before getting on her knees. In the most seductive way she could, she pulled her underwear down.
“Spread your legs.”
“Yes sir.” Teasing him, she sat down and opened her legs inch by inch.
The predatory way he moved toward the bed sent her heart racing. The way he placed his hands on her knees sent shivers up her spine. The way her body felt had her ready for him to ravish her.
Her eyes never left his until he lowered his face to her vagina. As his tongue played against her sensitive pearl, several emotions erupted within her. The idea of oral sex while she was having her period, even at the tail end of it, was shocking, but the pleasure she was feeling was beyond anything he’d made her feel already.
Tingles spread across her body. The center of her sent waves of pleasure out as a pressure built up, ready to explode.
“Oh, Carter!” Her breathing was raspy.
“You always taste so good.” He lifted his mouth to her inner thigh and kissed her.
The absence of his mouth caused a cooling sensation, but he soon had a substitution in place. His first thrust tore a long, deep moan from her.
He pumped hard and deep, watching as her face contorted in pleasure. The moans and cries for him to keep going was making it hard for him to prolong his release. She dug her nails into his shoulder and brought her legs up, granting him the opportunity to go deeper.
“Carter!” The exclamation rang out as he hit her G spot. It didn’t take long, after he hit it over and over again, for her to climax.
He allowed himself his own release and collapsed on top of her. “What do you do to me?”
She smiled at his words and ran her hands up and down his back.
They lay there for several minutes before he pushed himself up and pulled his pants back on. “I really have to go.”
“If you must.”
“Things to look forward to.” He muttered as he leaned down to kiss her.
“Oh yes.”
Before he could allow her to entice him again, he left.

After finishing his work, he wanted some time alone before he went back to Sloane. The woman drove him mad. All he could think about most of his day was being with her. He loved talking to her, eating with her, just spending time with her. Of course, the sex was amazing too.
The idea that she was his and he was going to spend the rest of his life with her made him happier than he’d ever been. It had been playing on the back of his mind, but he knew that when he got back, he wanted to tell her just how much she meant to him.
He hadn’t been paying attention to the direction he was going, but he was aware that he was taking his normal route when checking his traps. The usual noises of all the animals surrounded him, but there was another sound that caught his attention.
Once he reached his destination, he looked down to see a woman with silvery blonde hair and a dirt streaked face stare up at him.

Candor: The Forgotten House
*** Please read note below *** As a 16-year-old mage from a powerful family, Jayce Candor had known from a young age what his future would hold. As the fourth son in his family the possibility of him becoming the heir to the household was very small. But, with his talent as a mage, his potential accomplishments in the military could lead to titles of nobility and political power. However, on what would otherwise be an unremarkable night, everything he had ever known, the only people he ever cared for, and all of the plans for his future were destroyed. House Candor, one of the six great houses that helped build the Eldoran Empire had been erased from history. By imperial decree, all those bearing the name Candor were hunted down and executed as traitors of the Empire. With no home, no family, and only death waiting for him, Jayce decided to escape north to the uncharted Northern Territories to begin a new life. Forced into situations he was never prepared for and trying to cope with his past, Jayce tries to find safety in a place spoken about only in legends. There for the first time, he will make true friends and find people he will come to see as family. He will encounter strong enemies, build powerful alliances, and become a person his ancestors would be proud of. But surrounded by creatures he thought only existed in tales and pressed by the Empire’s constant expansion, Jayce’s safety may be only an illusion. To survive a world fraught with danger Jayce will need to grow stronger with each new experience and rebuild his once forgotten house. ********************************************************************** Note: The story starts slow. Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit. Constructive criticism is appreciated as it helps in the editing and rewriting process. Check out my other story Shattered Mind here

Trailblazer
The story of a man who accidentally wrote another world into existence. Everyone breaks away from their mundane daily life in one way or another. Our protagonist, an unfortunate consequence of circumstance, being no different, often escaped the harsh reality of life by writing stories of an alternate world of swords and magic. Though he recognized the difference between reality and fantasy, he could've never imagined what would happen, when the line between the two blurred as lightning struck down from the skies, and his escapism fantasy became all too real... After he came to, he would soon learn that things in the other world aren't quite as he remembered them to be. The world he wrote of had become but a shadow of its former self. Albeit hesitant at first, he sets off on a quest to find out the secrets behind the Trails, yet even then, he can't help but wonder... Can he really bring his world back to its old glory? —————————— I have never written a story before in my life and now I'm doing so in a language I don't natively speak. Groundbreaking quality is probably not something to be expected, but I do my best to keep things readable. With the necessities out of the way, both constructive criticism and other suggestions are very much welcome, and I'll do my best to take them into account when writing future chapters.
