《Turpin x reader》Chapter 21

You woke the next day with Turpin caressing your back, he held you close to him and watched your eyes as they fluttered open. He kissed your temple and got up from the bed. "Mr John Bacon will be here in around three hours" he said and got changed into his clothes.
You got up and got dressed into your dress and sat at the window seat. "What is Mr Bacon like?" you asked.
"Young, virile, able and promising" he said. "He would be a good person to pass my knowledge onto"
You nodded and stood. He took your outstretched hand and together went downstairs. You sat while Turpin made sure dinner was set.
"Will you be on your best behaviour?" he asked.
"Of course" you said.
"Good" he murmured. "I don't want anyone taking you from me" he kissed your neck and rubbed your back. "Do you understand?" he asked.
"Yes" you mumbled
"Good, now, time for tea" he said and wrang the bell. Turpin kept his hand on your thigh until the tea came, at this point, he crossed his let's and relaxed into the sofa. You did the same and smiled, sipping the warm drink.
"We should do more days like yesterday" Turpin mused. "I enjoyed being close to you"
"I did too" you said, taking his hand.
Turpin smiled at you and stroked your hand with his finger. "I am glad you finally understand I know best" he muttered.
You smiled and sighed. You were beginning to like him more now. (this Stockholm syndrome uh oh) You sighed and drank more tea, enjoying its flavour and its taste.
There was a knock on the door and quickly the empty cups were taken away. Turpin rose from his seat and kissed your head before going over to the door and opening it. "Welcome dear boy, come in" he said. "Into the drawing-room"
A tall handsome man in his early 20s came in, he was tall, not as tall as Turpin though. He had beautiful blonde hair with grey-blue eyes. His dress was immaculate and in fashion. He was a proper young gentleman. The man, John's eyes fell on you and he smiled. You stood and bowed your head. "You must be Mr Bacon" you said.
"I am" he said, he took your hand and kissed it gently, "Who may you be apart from the prettiest woman I have seen today"
"Oh" you laughed and went red. "I am (y/n)"
"Ms (y/n), what a beautiful name for an even more beautiful woman" he said.
You went red again and sat. Turpin was scowling and sat opposite you and Mr Bacon. "I am so glad for your invite to lunch" Mr Bacon said. "You have such a lovely house and a beautiful ward"
Your heart stopped, he thought that you where Turpin's ward. You looked at Turpin who scowl grew. "His ward at the moment decided to elope," you said, "I am his wife"

"Oh I am so sorry" he stuttered. "My apologies"
Turpin scowled as you poured the tea which was placed on the table.
"Do you take sugar Mr Bacon?" you asked.
"I do Ms (y/n)" he said. "Only one" you put one sugar in his tea and he sipped it. "Wonderful" he said. "Now tell me Ms (y/n)" he said. "I am a great lover of paintings and I have noticed that one" he said pointing to one of yours. "I have never seen any landscape as beautiful."
"You are too kind" you said smiling. "I painted that myself"
"Did you?" he said in awe "My word you are talented"
"Thank you very much" you mumbled. "I have been painting since I was young, that one I painted of where I grew up in Sussex"
"Do you do portraiture?" he asked.
"I do" you said. "That is where I met William" you said smiling. "I painted him and he invited me to the opera" you failed to mention how he made you escape your house in fear.
"Isn't that such a nice meeting" He said and smiled. "When I find my love I want her to be as beautiful, talented and kind as you are. However that maybe one of the trickiest thing I will ever do" he looked at the scowling Turpin, not seeing his anger. "She is quite a find, good you snapped her up before she was taken by another man"
"What is that supposed to mean?" Turpin snapped.
"Oh, just that women like (y/n) are a scares commodity" John said. "I would wish for a wife like (y/n), polite, beautiful, talented, respectful" he trailed off.
"Tell me sir" you said, changing the subject. "What took you to law?"
Mr Bacon told about what brought him to the line of work as Turpin's fingers drummed on the seat next to him. A lesser man would have fired him already and thrown him onto the street for what he had told his wife. However, Turpin had patience, he was waiting for you to take the bait, would you flirt with Mr Bacon or not? He was testing your loyalty.
You found Mr Bacon dashing and wonderful. He seemed to understand how to flirt and you found it quite flattering. You knew that Turpin was watching so you dared not flirt back.
Lunch was served and you ate. Mr Bacon had such good manners and seemed to not to take his eyes off you as you ate. You looked down and he smiled. Turpin was again starring at the boy, his eyes angry. You put your hand on Turpin's lap and he frowned but smiled when he noticed it was yours. He put a hand on yours and fiddled a little with the ring. Your hand seemed to calm him a little and he went back to eating and talking slightly. Mr Bacon took a swig of wine and smiled. With his foot, he touched yours. You looked up at him and frowned as he did it again. He winked at you which Turpin picked up and he scowled again. John carried on playing footsy with you, and you started to join in properly. You held back a giggle and stopped as you felt Turpin's hand on your own lap. He raised his eyebrows and you frowned and looked down.

"Tell me" Mr Bacon suddenly said. "Are you painting anyone at the moment?"
"Yes, she is" Turpin snapped
"Oh, what a shame" he said. "I would have loved to had a portrait of me, even a small one"
Turpin shot you a jealous and annoyed look. "Yeah, the one I am doing it taking up all my time" you said.
"Then when you are finished I would love to be your muse" he said. He smirked and pushed some hair out of his face and leaned on the table, looking at you.
You looked down and pushed some hair behind your ear. Turpin stared at Mr Bacon, like he would smite him with his eyes.
Soon this awkward meal finished you retired back to the sitting room and coffee was poured. Before you went into the room Turpin pulled you into the servants passage which went to the kitchen. "Don't encourage him" he muttered.
"I wouldn't" you murmured.
"You have been little one" he muttered. "You should not lie to me" his fingers grazed your hips and he kissed your neck, biting gently where the dress covered. "Remember who you are married too"
"Yes daddy" you murmured, looking down.
Turpin raised your eyes and kissed your lips gently. "My perfect girl." he stroked your lip. "hm, aren't you?" You nodded and he chuckled. "All mine" he murmured. He kissed you again and again, moving his lips against yours. He grabbed your hips and let go of your lips, breathing his hot breath against them. "Come" he murmured.
You walked out together down the hallway and into where Mr Bacon sat, Turpin had is hand on your shoulder and you sat on the sofa together. You took your coffee and sipped it.
"Where did you two go?" John asked interested.
"My darling (y/n) likes to help clear up with the servants" Turpin murmured. This was true, thinking they had to much work you usually helped pile the plates and even carried them into the kitchens.
"What a dear" he said. "The list of talents and pure qualities increase!"
Turpin growled slightly, angry at Mr Bacon and everything he had done that day. He drank his coffee and smiled at you, he seemed infatuated with you. "Retire upstairs" Turpin murmured quietly into your ear. "I cannot bear him looking at you with his lustful eyes for another second"
"I am sorry Mr Bacon" you murmured. "I must retire, my back pain is playing up"
"Oh, my poor lady" he said, standing. "Is there anything I can do?" he asked as he kissed your hand and then your cheeks, "I could carry you to your room"
"I do not think that would be necessary" you murmured, but you suddenly felt yourself off the floor and in the arms of Mr Bacon. Turpin stared thunderously, he snapped. "Put her down at once sir" he shouted. Mr Bacon jumped and dropped you onto the floor. "Get out of my house" he shouted. "Beadle!" he called. Beadle appeared from the kitchens. "Beadle, escort this man off the property," Turpin shouted. Beadle grabbed the man and brought him up. "Wait" Turpin said, putting his hand up. He stalked toward the boy and grabbed his chin. "You are relieved from your duties at the court, I hope I never see your face again, lest you wish to die. Now get out of my house at once"
Beadle pushed the man toward the back entrance and threw him out onto the ground. "You shouldn't of tried to flirt with the master's wife" he said, "I thought I warned you he loves with an obsessed passion"
"But she is so beautiful" he said, getting up
"She is but she is only for the master. I avoid talking to her when the master is home, just in case he gets angry" Beadle said. "Now get out or the master will have your hands"
Turpin picked you up from the floor. You whimpered slightly, you had fell on your head and you started to form a bruise at the back of your head. "Oh no" he murmured. "No, little one" he started to stroke your head and hugged you into him. He picked you up and carried you up to the bedroom, laying you down. "I will get some water." he murmured. "You stay put". Turpin went off and came back with cool water which helped you drink. Your head was fuzzy and you felt dizzy. You had a concussion and you could see stars.
"I'm sleepy William" you mumbled.
"I may have some ice from the winter" he muttered. "which is still stored. It will help" Turpin went to the back of the cellar which was cold to find a small box of ice which he had saved from the winter. He ordered the servant to put some together in a cloth and went back to you and put the ice against your head. "I got you darling" he cooed. "You will feel better". You nodded and yawned, clutching the sheets of the bed. The ice slowly melted and it wetted your hair and the bed but Turpin did not care, he wished for you to be okay. He put the now sopping towel on the floor and snuggled into you. "I'm sleepy" you mumbled hazily.
"Then sleep my dear" he murmured. "I will hold you"
You nodded and fainted into him.

Apocalypse at Mighty Max
God sold us out and the world ended... well, sort of. God may have sold us, or at least, our universe but our world didn't end. Instead, the new owners decided to play, and we all know what that means: Monsters, a System, Magic, Cultivation, and, of course, two new moons! Thanks for reading! I appreciate the interest. This is a rough draft and is intended to flesh out some ideas for a novel that I had. Maybe figure out if I want to do this author thing, you know? If you want immediately OP MCs, fights every chapter, a harem, this is not the story for you. Sorry about that. If you're willing to put up with a long growth curve, an MC that doesn't know what he's doing most of the time but is trying his best both to survive and to help his friends survive, you might enjoy the story. I'm just trying to have fun, maybe create something that in a second draft I can sell on the eBook market. If you're not into that, not into providing helpful comments for revisions, hey, that's cool, but do us both a favor and stop reading now. ** Oh, release schedule For the first weeks, I'll be releasing a chapter (1800-3000 words) a day. Following that, I'll be releasing whenever the mood strikes me. If I get some feedback, the mood might strike me more often, hint! hint!

8 90The Kings of Thendor - The Two Kings
To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much. In the land of Thendor, where magic is mysterious, unmentioned, and sometimes even disbelieved; where kings, queens, and stewards rule, the ages-old kingdom of Alldel remains without its king. Heirs come and go and no one can explain why each one chooses to abdicate to the steward. And who are these heirs, anyway? Some say the line of kings is dead, while others whisper of magic. Some, though few they are, will tell you other kingdoms have interfered, keeping the line of kings from rising in the nation of Alldel. But why? Adric, son of Cassian, heir to the throne of Alldel has come of age and must answer the question, whether to assume the throne, or abdicate as his ancestors had done for centuries. Raised as a blacksmith by a family friend, Adric struggles with the decision to take up his place as King of Alldel, and to make matters worse, a neighboring kingdom has confirmed the rumors of the common folk. An impossibly old king with a centuries-old message arrives and changes Adric’s life in ways he could never have imagined. Adric must decide the future, and perhaps even the fate of the great kingdom of Alldel. Unprepared for this turn of events, he enlists the help of allied kingdoms and even the mystical nymphs of the Tulusbian forest. Some say his actions will start a war on the continent of Thendor. Ohers say he is resurrecting a long forgotten one from centuries ago. Abdicate, or become king? To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much.
