I could hear some voices but unable to recognise them. I tried to open my eyes but the pain shoot up in my head causing me to shut my eyes. Softness underneath me caused it impossible for me to move. It seemed like that if I opened my eyes for a minute then this softness would vanish. But then a my neck started to sting ,the pain was severe. I was in the need of ample amount of water. I coughed hardly.
"Give her water! Quickly!" I could hear a girl shouting.
In a minute or so, someone put the rim of glass near my lips and then lifted the glass , causing the water to reach my burning neck. I gulped down the water slowly slowly. I gestured her to stop and she lifted down the glass from my lips. My eyes were still closed, I opened them with great pain. My eyes were burning. The pain was too much that I couldn't adjust my eyes so I quickly closed them.
"Are you okay?" Her concerned voice reached my ears.
I hissed in pain as she put a hand on my arm. Even though she just touched it but the pain was too much too handle. All scenes of Zain's cruelty flashed in my mind causing me to flinch and I opened my eyes quickly to get rid of them despite the severe pain in my eyes and head.
I tilted my head a little bit only too find a concerned looking girl. She was about my age wearing a blue hoodie and a pant with white scarf. She looked like an angel.
"Oh my Allah!! Are you fine? Do you need anything? I'm sorry to put my hand on your arm. Does it hurt too much? Wait! Should I call a doctor?" She asked all these questions in one breath, not giving me a chance to speak.

As soon I heard doctor's name I shook my head indicating 'no' to her.
"Okay, as you want." She gave me a small smile.
My all thoughts were gathered around how to ask her that where she found me? As if reading my mind she answered my unspoken question.
"If you are thinking that where I find you and how you came here then let me tell you I was taking a walk with my brother Jahaan when we saw you. You were in very bad condition and you were fainted so we took you to our home. Your clothes were bloodstained so I changed your clothes." She said embarrassingly.
I looked down at my clothes, they were indeed changed. I was wearing red shirt with a black sweatpant.I smiled, she released a breath.
"Oh wait! Your family must be on way. Do you want to get fresh?" She asked me. My eyes widened and before I could say anything She spoked.
"If you're wondering how I get the number then my brother have his own ways." She said nonchalantly
I gulped harder. My family was coming here. I was afraid of their reaction. How would they react? My head was clouded by all these fears and questions when suddenly I heard a bell ringing, I closed my eyes quickly to get rid of nervous , I was on edge of having panic attack. That girl went out to open the door. As soon as she opened the door I could hear my mother shouting my name in their big house. Then the door of the room got opened with a loud thud.
My maa(mom) rushed towards me and sat near me on bed. I was looking downward because I know if I would see at her then I would definitely cry. She put her finger down my chin and lifted it slowly. She gasped. Despite my hard efforts the tears started to form its way in my eyes .

"My daughter! My life , What happened to you? Oh Allah ! Look at my daughter." She started crying with me.
"Tell me my daughter, tell me what happened?" She asked in a very much concerned voice. I started crying hysterically. She grabbed my shoulders , I flinched and a little scream left my mouth. I could see the horror evident on my mother's face. This was what I never wanted. She quickly left my shoulder and started crying loudly and was cursing Zain. I was trying to suppress my hiccups. I was looking down this whole time.
Bed dipped and someone sat very close to me. His cologne hit my nostrils, the cologne of my all time saviour, my brother Ammar. I lifted my head only to see tears in the eyes of my innocent yet tough brother. He hadn't cried since the death of our grandfather. Ammar was 12 years old when our grandfather died. He loved him very much.
He took my hands in his big one and looked at them .I quickly pulled my hands back as they still showed the burnt marks. He looked in my eyes, I averted my eyes not wanting to look at his tearful eyes. He quickly wiped his face with his hands.
"I'm not going to spare him." He said angrily. I quickly looked at him and hold his hand tightly. I shook my head because deep down I still care for Zain. He angrily closed his eyes and calmed himself down.
"Why ? Why you didn't tell us princess? Did you not trust us this much that we would help you?" His voice was broken. My cries got louder and my hiccups echoed in whole room. I put my forehead on his shoulder . He stroked my hair and gave me a side kiss.
"Lets go home , princess. " he said in a low voice. I nodded my head.
I thanked jiya, the girl and his brother to save me. Jiya hugged me tighter even though I was in pain and Ammar giving her hard look, I accepted her hug smiling. She was really an angel. She even took our home address so she could come and meet me. She was beautiful and kind hearted and a crazy one girl too.
We went home. My baba(father) was impatiently waiting for us. As soon as he saw me he hugged me but maa told him that I was in pain. He pulled back and I could see tears in his eyes too. My sister was crying hysterically .I was feeling miserable, everyone was crying just because of me.
They asked me the truth and I told them every single detail even Alisha's betrayal and my divorce too.Everyone was very angry. At the end I was crying and crying and the last thing I saw was blackness and my brother shouting my name.

On the plus side, there’s magic, and Jake’s got the stats to master it. Spells not included, but, hey, creating spells and programming are basically the same thing, right? All the more reason to find his way back fast. Unfortunately, the path home leads right into the heart of danger. Fighting monsters, dungeon delving, solving puzzles – whatever it takes, Jake is finding his way home. He’ll need allies. Powerful allies, like a trainee ranger who struggles to find her hairbrush. Pointy ears, executive dysfunction, and a perilously gutsy moral compass – what more could one want in a Companion? Alas, beggars can’t be choosers. He needs every edge he can get. Going home means finishing his quest. That quest. The quest that doesn’t deserve completion. Save your father, save the world. Update Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Temporarily ad hoc.
