《The Kidnapped Orphan》Back home

I ran faster and faster towards the orphanage. I stopped suddenly, panting like mad. But I had to keep running. What if he saw me running? I ran even more and ended up at the bottom of the street where I was officially kidnapped. I remembered getting carried and chucked in the car here, so if I walked to the end of the street, I would be where I met the guy! I ran even more, taking deep breaths. I was here! The alleyway! I now remembered my way back to the orphanage. I took my bag off my bruised, bloody back and searched for my phone..I couldn't find it. DAMN. He must of took it, in case I phoned the police up. I zipped my bag and carried on walking. I was now face to face with the gates of my home.

"Finally. I'm here." I breathlessly whispered to myself.

I opened the gates and climbed back in the open window. The door was still locked. They didn't know I was gone then. Phew. I locked my window and closed the curtains. That's when I suddenly remembered. I told the guy my orphanage. What if he came looking for me!? I clasped on the bed still worrying. He could use his gun to threat everyone and take me away! I didn't want this to happen! No, no, no.

"Daisy?" A voice called from outside.

My heart pounded. It sounded like him...the kidnapper. I didn't reply and shut my eyes.

"Daisy." That deep voice called again.

I got up and peeked through the curtains. It wasn't him thankfully! It was someone that got adopted from here. He was like a brother to me. I opened the window and let him climb in. I locked the window behind me and closed the curtains. I was shaking like mad. I couldn't forget what happened today and yesterday.

"You look scared, Daisy. What's the matter?" He put his arm around me, pulling me into a hug.

I couldn't dare tell him what happened. Being kidnapped was in the past. I was going to forget it.

"Daisy. I've lived here long enough to know when you're frightened."

I had to tell him. He was the only boy I trust.

"I..ran away from here..everyone was being mean..I went down a alleyway." I cried.

"That's not so bad..but you shouldn't be scared of that. You're here now. You're safe and warm."

He didn't get the point. I had to tell more.

"A man c-came up...to me...I told him my name...he..he then kidnapped me..."

His eyes were filling up with water.

"I fell unconscious..he locked me up in a dark room...he...he cut my back."

He suddenly went behind me and lifted up my shirt.

"Oh my.."

He kissed me on the cheek and hugged me tightly.

"I told him this orphanage." I burst out crying.

"What...Daisy, you did?"

I nodded and started to explain what fully happened. He was going to keep me safe. I wanted that. I needed that. I had that...

"You stay here while I get my stuff..ok?"

I nodded still crying and he ran to his house to collect his stuff. I laid back on the bed and started thinking about what happened. Eventually I drifted off asleep.

James' (Daisy's friend) POV

Daisy was terrified. I felt sorry for her. I really did. She was so brave and faced up with him. She also had luck when the door was left unlocked. But why was it unlocked? Did he forget of was it his plan? He could of unlocked the door and waited for Daisy to run and then he followed her, so he knew where the orphanage was. But why did he let her go? He wanted her and got her, but he blew his chances. He lost her and I earned her. She wasn't going to get taken from him again..

As I walked out the gates, I saw a teenager about 17 or 18 lurking around the gates. He looked suspicious.

"Hey mate." I spoke, trying to start a conversation.

"Hey man." He said back.

"So what are you doing, doodling around this place?" I had to catch him out.

He didn't say anything and walked away. Still hanging around the house though. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of him. I managed to get his back, but surely Daisy would recognise what the kidnapper looked like. I got my bike and peddled with all my speed to the house, packing my bags quickly and cycling back. He was still there.

"Oi mate. What do you want?" My harsh tone got him walking to me.

"Get lost." He demanded.

I opened the gates and locked them behind me, incase he tried attempting to get in. I knocked on the window and Daisy let me back in. I closed the window locking it and pulled the curtains across. She knew I looked curious.

"What?" She anxiously said.

I sat on the bed, pulling her closer to me and took out my phone. I showed her the picture and she grabbed the phone off me. Her eyes widened in shock. She was obviously scared. Her eyes filled up with water and poured down her cheeks.

"Where did you get this?" She whispered.

I had to tell her what I saw.

"There was a man outside the gates. He was lurking around here. I got suspicious and took a picture." I let it all out.

"Oh no. James, it's him!" She yelled.

I looked back at her in shock and hugged her even more. After 10 minutes of cuddling, she fell asleep. I picked her up and placed her on the bed, placing the duvet over her. I kissed her forehead and looked out of the window..

The man was walking towards the door...
