"How are you feeling today?" Shota asked his wife as he walked into her office
"I've been better. They're starting to move around. Pretty hard to get any more done really," (Y/n) told him
(Y/n) was just about three or four months pregnant. Their honeymoon was the reason for it. Sure, she'd gone through pregnancy before, but that was back when she was still a teenage and fresh out of high school. Now she was a responsible adult and married.
Their families were overjoyed when they heard about the pregnancy. The media practically was all over their marriage, but went crazy when it was announced that (Y/n) would be taking time off due to her pregnancy.
"Do you need anything?" Shota asked his wife as she stood from her desk.
"Not at the moment," she grabbed a file from the filing cabinets in her office and walked back to her desk as the bell rang.
"You know where to find me if you do," Shota kisses his wife before walking out of the room and to Class 1-A for hero training
"Don't go to hard on the kids!" (Y/n) called
"Whatever you say honey," Shota said as the door closed behind him.
(Y/n) chuckled as she sat back down and continued her work. Till her phone pinged
Mom
We just got the house!
(Y/n) smiled and texted back a congratulations. Her parents and siblings were moving out to Japan. They settled on it about two months ago and she helped them with finding the home since it'd years since they moved homes.
Her sister was going to be working at a hero agency soon as a secretary. She didn't find hero life appealing when she saw what (Y/n) did in high school. Her brother on the other hand was excited. Currently he was being homeschooled so he'd be caught up with Japan's middle schools and could go for the hero course.
(Y/n) continued her work and talked with a few students that were having problems and were terrified of HoundDog— who could blame them for being scared of him when me gets angry.
As the school day came to a close and students went back to their dorms with new found knowledge, the staff had meeting about the next school year. It didn't last long and they were free to head back to the dorm.
As the some staff members walked in, they were all greeted by Eri, which put smiles on everyone's face. It's become a tradition for Eri to bid the pros good luck at their work day and welcome them back from their work day. It was cute and everyone appreciated it. Especially the third year teachers with hero license exams coming up soon.
"(Y/n)! I drew you a picture today!" The little girl beamed as she showed the pregnant pro her drawing.
(Y/n) took the art work from the child and smiled at it. It was of (Y/n) and Aizawa holding their unborn baby with Eri in the middle of them. "It's beautiful Eri," the heroine handed the drawing back to the girl who ran to show Shota .

The hero smiled and complimented her art as she ran back to her toys. Shota and his wife headed up to the dorm rooms to change out of their hero costumes.
"My mom texted earlier," (Y/n) told her husband as they sat on her bed
"Did they get the house?" He asked
"Yep. They're going to start shipping stuff out soon," (Y/n) answered as she snuggled up to her husband
"Speaking of houses," Shota started, "Found one in Koto ward. Three bedrooms, two bath, good neighborhood too."
"We can go look at it tomorrow," (Y/n) suggested. Shota agreed and called the landlord and set up a time for them to come look at the house while his wife took a nap before dinner
———
"It's nice to meet you guys," the realtor greeted them when the couple and Eri got out of the car, "is that your oldest?" They asked as they waved to Eri
"We're in the process of adopting her," (Y/n) explained as she stood next to her husband
"And you guys are having a kid. Is it your first?"
"My first, not hers," Shota said
"Well congratulations, if you follow me inside, we can have a look around," the group walked up to the door.
"Do you guys have anything specific your looking for if this house isn't the right one?" The relative asked as they unlocked the door.
"Something close to work," Shota said as the four of them walked in
"Where do you guys work?" They asked
"U.A. High School," (Y/n) said
"That must mean you guys are pro heroes too!" The related smiled, "anything else you guys are looking for?"
"Good schools in the area, friendly neighbors. Three to four bedrooms," (Y/n) said as the relator gave them a tour of the house.
They decided to go look at a few more homes in the area before they went back to U.A.'s dorms. They discussed their choices in the car and when they got back. They didn't necessarily need to be close to the school because they would be in the dorms when school was in session, well, Shota would when (Y/n) went on maternity leave. Then she would be at the house taking care of Eri and the baby.
They finally decided on the house and put their offer in a waited to hear back, which only took a few days. Then they got the house inspected and appraised. In two weeks, they got the house and were closed to having their family. Next thing was getting furniture, having Eri's social worker inspect the home and finish her adoption process.
It was already a long process and it was also quite stressful. They were lucky that Shota was already Eri's care taker for sometime, so it made the process easier. He'd already gone through the necessary checks that (Y/n) had to go through once they started the process. And because of her mental history, she had to do more than needed. But she understood why.

But by the time it was all over, they'd be a small family and few months away from another addition to their small family.
–––
"(S/n) I don't need a baby shower," (Y/n) told her sister as her and Shota's family were over at their new house for dinner and a small house warming party.
"You didn't have one for your first kid so I'm throwing you one now," (S/n) protested
"Because I wasn't ready to have a kid and gave her to a couple who couldn't have one," (Y/n) explained
"I think it'd be good to have a baby shower," Shota said from their kitchen
"Who's side are you on?" (Y/n) asked
"We don't have much for the baby, maybe having a baby shower would help us out," he told his wife
"Fine, but don't do anything to big," (Y/n) told her sister
"She's going to invite way to many pros to it. Have mom plan it," Her brother said
"I don't even know that many pros in Japan," her sister defended
"But Haw—"
"We're not talking about that!" (Y/n) cut her sister off real fast
"If your seeing Hawks, be warned, he moves fast in just about everything he does," Shota told his sister-in-law
"I feel attacked right now," Her sister laid her head on the table
"If you get pregnant or engaged with in the next month or two, i'm turning Hawks into fried chicken," (Y/n) warned her sister, "you can tell him that too."
"Is it to late to move back to (H/c)?" (S/n) asked her mother, who walked in from outside. All the parents were out on the back patio drinking and talking while Eri played in the backyard
"Your sister is just looking out for you," her mother patted her daughters head as she went into the kitchen, "Shota, do you need help with anything?"
"Not right now, but I'll let you know when I do," Shota told her
"Alright. And it smells amazing," Her mother refilled her wine glass then headed back out
"You know, if Hizashi was here, he'd be on my side," (S/n) said as both her siblings an brother-in-law laughed.
"We all know full well that Hizashi would help (Y/n) if he got you pregnant or if you guys got engaged," (B/n) said
"No he— actually, yeah. He would," Her sister sighed in defeat.
"We do it out of love, (S/n). But be careful when your seeing a pro hero, especially in Japan. The League of Villains is still out and about, they've also expanded," (Y/n) told her
"Yeah, and I could be kidnapped and be used as leverage," (S/n) knew this all two well. She heard about it a lot when (Y/n) and Hizashi were training and when they were just starting out at heroes. She would be hearing more of it when her brother went to the hero course.
"Okay, can we stop talking about relationships and babies before I gag," her brother changed the subject
"That's rude," (s/n) said
"What high schools are you applying too?" Shota asked
"U.A., Ketsubutsu Academy, and Isamu Academy," (B/n) told him
"Have you gotten any recommendations from heroes?" (Y/n) asked
"I was going to ask you guys and Hizashi," (B/n) answered
"If your applying for U.A., we can't recommend you because work there. We'd be playing favorites. The three of us already discussed it," Shota told him
"Damn," (B/n) said then looked at his other sister, "hey, (S/n), you know I love you right?"
"You want me to ask Hawks for your recommendation?" She asked
"You would do that for me? Your the best!" He smiled
"I'll remember that," her sister told him
"Well, dinners ready," Shota said as his wife got up and told the patent and got Eri inside.
The family thanked the gods above for the meal and started eating. They carried the conversation on till the late night. Eventually, everyone left the house and went back to their own. (Y/n) put Eri to bed while Shota cleaned up from dinner.
Once the girl was asleep, (Y/n) walked into the kitchen, "I found out the gender today," (Y/n) told her husband
"What is it?" He asked
"It's a girl," (Y/n) told him
Shota didn't really care what the gender was, as long as they were healthy. And a few months later, they had their healthy baby girl, and they couldn't be happier.
The staff congratulated them, as did fellow heroes. Their family was complete with the two of them, Eri, and their new daughter, (Dr/n) Aizawa.
Everything fell into place. They got their house, had the lives they wanted. Had their own family. They had everything they wanted
It took them years to get there. They had their hardships, like every couple does. But they made it. They made it through it all, now they got to watch their two daughters grow up and be the best they could. They taught the next generation of heroes together.
No matter what was thrown at them, they made it out alive. They new their kids would grow up in a hard world with both their parents being Pro Heroes. But they were also safe from danger with both parents being pros. Both (Y/n) and Shota were safe. It didn't matter how unstable everything got, they fixed themselves and made it stable again.

City of Captives
In the Qursan Empire, the grey walls of the City press down on its subjects. It is a highly divided society which is based on the magical strength of its citizens. While the most powerful are trained as Mages, the majority of citizens use their limited skills with Essence to power the City in their assigned jobs. Jano is pretty much the lowest of the low in the Qursan Empire. A Class Ten citizen forced into transitory work after having his power restricted. When he gets the opportunity to change all of that, he takes it with both hands. This is a slow burning progression fantasy. Please expect at least two chapters per week. I love writing this story but I do have unfortunate things to deal with like work and life outside of writing. I may be able to write and edit more than that, but it will never be less! This is largely still a draft. I hope to use any comments and reviews in the future. Thanks for reading!
