Chapter Fourteen.
I stirred in my sleep; rolling over to my side to stretch out my arms and groan softly. I was expecting to hit another slumbering body but instead I felt empty space next to me. I fluttered my eyes open to see that it was still night and my room was completely dark. I whispered Bill's name as I rubbed my eyes. He wasn't beside me which made me wonder where he was.
"Bill?" I pushed myself to sit up. I began to reach over to flick a nearby lamp on so that I could see, but a shadowy figure in the corner of my eye caught my attention. "Is that you Bill? Why are you over in the corner? Come back to bed." I spoke softly.
The dark figure shifted; its back facing over in my direction. It began mumbling something to itself under its breath. A confused look appeared on my face. "Say something, Bill. Please. You're scarying me."
A short burst of what sounded like a cackle erupted into the air. I flinched; my eyes transfixed on the figure in the corner of the room.
"Who are you? You're not Bill."
"Wrong," the figure spoke before laughing manically. "Sweet, sweet [your name]."
"Bill!" I began to shout out Bill's name, hoping that he was downstairs. But instead of receiving Bill's voice I got loud repeat cackling from the stranger in the corner of my room.
"Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill," the dark figure began mocking my own voice as it began to stand up and turn around to face me. I was ready to grab the pepper spray I had stashed in the bedside table and make a run for it, but my body suddenly froze when the sight of glowing yellow eyes came into view.

"What do you want? Just leave me alone, please." I pleaded as I slowly reached to arm myself with said pepper spray.
"Pennywise wants you, [your name]. Won't you be a good dolly for Pennywise to play with?"
"Dolly?" I questioned as I looked up, watching as the figure stepped closer. "I'm not a doll you sick fuck. Just leave me alone."
"Naughty words for a naughty girl." The voice spoke as its mouth curled into a large grin. "Pennywise punishes naughty, little human dollies."
I suddenly made a run for it, making my way towards the bedroom door. Before I could make it I was roughly pushed against the nearby wall with a hiss. It was then I finally saw the figures face clearly. A clown?
"Don't run, sweets." Pennywise drooled out of his red, pouting lips. My eyes widened at the sight of the towering clown who was forcing me hard against the wall. He loomed over me, bringing his face closer to mine.
"Wh-what the hell are you?" I questioned as my eyes stared up into his glowing yellow ones.
"I'm Pennywise the dancing clown, little dolly." He sang and gave me the creepiest grins ever, exposing his front buck teeth with drool dripping onto the floor before me.
