We weren't official yet, but it had felt like it. The instagram posts, all the kissing—all of that makes me blush just thinking of it.
I was waiting for it to be official, and if not, then I'll ask him myself. Men don't have to do everything. Maybe I'll just ask him straight up, or plan a date. I smiled at that.
It has been a week since I've woken up from the coma and they still have me under supervision. Not the doctors, but mostly Jungkook—he has hawk eyes. Sometimes, he'd even slip in a kiss or two.
Okay, maybe a lot of kisses.
Jungkook has been taking a lot more care of himself, going home and sleeping while also showering. The only con was that he'd go home very late and come back very early. I wonder how he even got in when it isn't visiting hours.
Luckily, today I get discharged from the hospital and I've never felt so excited to go back home, or whatever it is now.
I just wanted to be back in the environment that I had gotten so used to.
I missed mother nature, too. They didn't let me get out of bed much, not wanting me to open the wound. Even Jungkook and his muscly self wouldn't help me.
Oh look at the grass, trees, and the beautiful blue sky! My reaction was like if I'd seen my favorite kpop star. Well, I don't have one because Jungkook is already a star to me.
I told them that my legs were fine and that I could walk, but it was 2:1 since my doctor and Jungkook agreed that I should. I was wheeled out on a wheelchair, directed by Jungkook of course. He demanded that he'd wheel me out since he wasn't sure if the nurses are "trustworthy".

"My legs work, Jungkook!" I exclaimed as I lifted my right leg up high.
"Don't do that, you're going to get injured," he pouted. My heart fluttered, but I couldn't show him that. So instead, I just crossed my arms.
We talked a lot about the accident throughout the week while I was in the hospital. I kept telling him that it wasn't his fault and that it was my decision to push him out of the way, but his stubbornness wouldn't accept my answer.
I know he still feels bad, but I'm okay now.
My thoughts were interrupted as one of Jungkook's arm went under my knees and the other behind my back—lifting me up.
I slapped his arm, "I said I can walk!"
"Let me take care of you." He grinned, placing me on the seat and pecking my lips a few times. He walked around the car and slipped into the drivers' seat.
"Wanna be my girlfriend?" All I could hear was it echoing, but it was vivid. Did he just ask me out?
My head shot to face him—it was so fast that I'll probably feel the pain of whiplash tomorrow. "Huh?" I asked, clueless.
"I asked, do you want to be my girlfriend?"
"Hmm, I don't know." I placed my hand under my chin, stroking it as if I was thinking.
"It was probably too soon again." Jungkook sighed, looking out the window at a red light.
"I'm kidding! Of course I'll be your girlfriend." I smiled as his frown turned upside down.
"I would kiss you right now but my hands are a little full." He said, pointing his eyes to the steering wheel and our intertwined hands.
I leaned over and pecked his cheek and his immediate response was a bunny smile.

My mind still couldn't comprehend what happened a few weeks ago. My own best friend had shot me, or tried to shoot Jungkook but in the end shot me. It hurt to think about what our friendship really meant to her these past ten years.
Was I just a target? Was I no one to her?
Jungkook placed his hand on my lap as he shook his head. "No more worrying about her in this head of yours." He said, pointing his finger to my head.
"I-"
"I know, princess. She's been your best friend for so long, and I understand how hard it must be for you. We have this under control, Y/N. We've been working on a plan the second everything went down. You can rest." His voice spoke softly.
"I don't mind if I stay at home and be the brains this time, but I need to contribute to it. I've known her my whole life." I responded.
"I get that I got injured the first time, but I got up, and that's all that matters."
He grinned and stroke my hand with his. "You're so stubborn, but I love it."

"We went over this countless of times already, Namjoon!" Seokjin exclaimed as he threw his arms up in frustration.
"We went over this every. single. day since the moment Y/N got shot, and you know what we find?" He scoffs, "nothing."
"What can we look over, since we have nothing, Namjoon? We can go there again, or we could go through her papers—but there will still be nothing." Seokjin adds.
It was true, I didn't have anything else to look over to trace Jae-eun. All I had was when I ordered for Yoongi and Hoseok to chase after her and where she had went. They were only able to track her for less than half a mile before she had lost them.
We wrote everything we had find out, we plotted everything we could on a map, we even tried to look for anymore footsteps.
Nothing.
At this point, I felt like I couldn't do anything. I felt useless. I knew I couldn't give up, though. Whoever messes with my family—lets just say it won't end well for them.
And Y/N is family.
I slammed my fist onto the table as the loud sound erupted throughout the room, making Hoseok and Jimin jump a little. Seokjin let out a small shriek and jumped. If I weren't this serious, I would be cracking up.
"If we can't find anything, then we find the people Jae-eun knows," I said. "She had a life, yeah? So we look on her Facebook, Instagram, Twitter—everything. We write their names down and we get their addresses.
"I didn't want it to come to this, getting innocent people involved to try to capture one, but that's probably the only thing we can do right now." I sighed.
"When do we start?" Taehyung asks, seeming excited to do whatever this is.
"We start when Jungkook is back, we need all hands on deck."
"And Y/N?" Taehyung asks again.
"She already got shot, Taehyung, and it was a life or death situation. I don't think she's quite ready to face this again. If she really wants, she can be our operator—Yoongi can help her since he's best at this." Yoongi looked over as he heard me say his name, nodding before probably going back to sleep.
Taehyung nodded.
"Call Jungkook."

Deviant's Masquerade: The Huntsman's Quest (An Urban Magic Quest/RPG)
Jon Whitaker went to summer camp expecting a nice relaxing time as a newly minted counselor in training. He was not expecting to fight an army of monsters, work with a serial killer, enter a one-sided friendship with an eldritch horror, or study under a competing witch and dark lord. But regardless of what he was expecting, his summer is over and he's made his way back home where he can try and return to a normal -for him- life. Too bad life rarely goes as expected. --- Please Note: This is forum quest/RPG I run in the same city/setting as my other stories Hacking Reality and Get Ink'd, meaning that while a majority of the plot is made up by me, the major choices as well as what each chapter is about are usually made by the actual readers in forum votes. Additionally, given how this is essentially a story version of a Tabletop game there is also a background RPG system that while the characters aren't necessarily aware of, the readers can see these stats to know how each chosen 'Action' effects their character's development.

Author's note:This is an old version that has been completely dropped in favor of a new and better version. I will be posting the new version on a different page.
