My feet hit the black sand with a tight jolt of pain to my ankles and knees. wincing I took a few steps to walk off some of the pain.

I had dropped down from the car and it had be just that little to much of a drop for my legs to handle comfortably.

I checked and annoyingly that didn't count to my 100 jumps in the black sand.

I frowned and used an arrow to pull the rope to one side of the portal not letting it dangle onto the sand then I took off my hoodie and sweat pants. Using a vector to throw them up into the car.

I had on a t-shirt and basketball pants on underneath and in the warm air beneath the moon it felt like just the right amount of clothing.

I started stretching doing it more in the hopes of making my body supernaturally limber then in worry of pulling anything.

I looked around checking to see if the line of ants were still on the beatch and also to make sure there wasn't anything else to surprise me like last time.

The line of ants was still marching but now there was a second line of ants carrying what looked like black stones back to were the first line was coming from.

2 blue boxes appeared.

"quest received Find out were the stones are going. reward +2 modification points into not drinking.

quest received Find out were the stones came from Reward +2 modification points to not eating."

My eyes went wide at that not eating and drinking was one of my top buys after I got my +10 per level.

I looked at the ants and thought that not eating would be better to start with and more likely not to lead me to the ants nest.

But first thing first I started jumping, wanting to build up my jumping skill as a way to cheat at the running quest.

I did notice already that I could jump more times then I was expecting, and soon I was noticing I was jumping higher not magically high but definitely better then I used to be able to do.

By the 25th jump I was getting at least a foot off the ground so I moved out from under the portal to keep jumping at this point I changed from full on bending my legs jumping to something more like jump rope lots of little jumps.

Normally I would be needing a break and maybe even breathing hard, but the warm watery air felt nice and soothing. The air was not humid just... cleaner?

It must have ben the mana in the air helping me to breath and feel nice and cool. I noticed I was barely sweating, and didn't hurt anywhere.

I grinned jumping quickly then trying to jump both quickly and as high as I could noticing I usually got dizzy when I did that but again not today.

I was starting to feel giddy and exited just enjoying jumping around like a kid. I started getting chunky at 10 and then at 21 I noticed that it wasn't just fat I was barrel chested and so would always be more top heavy and unable to really move like I wanted.

I wanted to be more what I called a dex build. What other people would probably call dancers or gymnasts builds, but instead I was shaped more like a cave-man hunched, thick, with legs that are to short.

The closest it seamed like I could get to running is leaning forward and tipping over but not letting myself fall.

I didn't know if my body would change as I trained and leveled up but if I could at least make it do like I wanted then I would be a lot happier with it. Being able to run jump and move like I didn't have 200lbs right on my legs would feel very freeing.

I hit 50 jumps and was able to jump a good 3' off the ground. Now im not very good at knowing whats normal or not but I thought that 3' for some one only 5'6 tall was pretty damn good.

At this point I tried to jump just on one leg at a time trying to propel myself with a half jump half run. I am told this is called bounding and it is quite a fun way to travel and as an added bonus it counted for the mile I was trying to run for the quest.

I bounded along the beach making sure to keep an eye on the ants and the tide not wanting to step on either at least not yet.

I also tried to make sure not to go to far from the portal having left everything but the clothes I was wearing in the car.

I bounded around and started to notice how I was getting a little bored and wished I could listen to my books while I was training but I didn't want to risk my phone and head phones down here.

I mean I wouldn't take my phone to a normal beach instead id leave it in the car safe from the water sand and other people.

That would have to be a power I got latter. some way to listen to books with out teck. maybe some sort of spirt to read them as I did things.

I was up to 70 jumps and started to jump in place while trying to use my arrows just to make sure I could do both at the same time.

It was a little difficult at first but I was able to bound and imagen a large arrow moving the air around like everything else it slowly became easier as I did it until the bounding barely effected my concentration on the arrows.

I bounded and used the arrows to blow the wind around me hoping I could eventually level that up to a wind or vector sheild.

Then I tried my best to push up on my shoulders as I jumped to get even higher into the air. But that mostly just made a sort of painful pulling on my arms like I was suddenly jerked up by ropes attached to my back.

A little annoyed by that I gave up on it for now putting it on my list of powers to spend points on once I had a lot of them.

I was now at 90 jumps and could jump 3' with out much effort and if I really tried to jump high I got all the way to 4'6.

It was nearly like flying for some one as big as me, and I could tell that was not a normal jump hight. I grinned feeling like I was on a trampoline but actually just on cool black sand.

'if this is what x3 training with just 91 jumps is what the fuck are those 2 points going to do to me?' I thought with glee remembering a Kung fu Comedy where the final bad guy acted like a frog and then jumped trying to tackle the hero and flew like a cannon ball nocking holes into buildings as he did so.

It seamed like fun and if he could jump like that then he should be able to jump like a man on wires. Lightly practically floating in the air.

The blue box nearly made me fall back in surprise

"quest compleat jump 100/100 exp gained and +2 points are now put into jump."

I felt once again the water both on my skin but also energizing inside me it was focused more in my legs this time than the rest of my body but it was still there soothing and making me feel light.

It was over all to soon and I was left standing on the beach and letting out a long breath.

Then I bent my legs going down low and lept trying to go as high as I could.

I honestly didn't know how high I jumped but I will say I started to get scared mid way up and then kept going.

I saw all my footprints in the sand and the water stretching out next to it.

If it wasn't for the fact that I was able to jump 4' and not feel it when I landed I would have panicked at falling from the hight I was but instead I trusted in the magic points that were just given to me and landed on my feet.

I landed as gently as if I had just taken a step.

The fear I had ben feeling turned into joy as I yelled in elation jumping a gain to really enjoy it this time noticing that the spot were I jumped didn't have a big spot where I jumped off from showing that I wasn't leaving the ground with extra force I was just moving much higher then I had ben.

I grinned landing with the lightest steep and then couldn't help but do it again like a fool just hopping around.

I nearly thought id get another quest to keep jumping but it seamed that Magic thought that was enough.

I smiled ready now to go see were the ants were going.

My smile faltered as I realized I wasn't sure where the portal even was anymore. I turned leaned back and then jumped backwords going for distance over hight looking up for the portal as I went.

It took me a few tries after the second try I started to get a little nervous but I saw a flash go by that was not sky and was able to put a foot down and stop to walk back to it just in time.

Not wanting to have that happen again I started thinking of what I mite be able to do to keep from losing it again.

The best I could think of in the short term was to pull the rope down but not all the way so it would be marked then I looked into the jungle seeing if I could find any branches nearby that had fallen to mark the spot.

I didn't see any and felt that was odd so I looked for a tree that would have branches that would be easy to hack off with the machete and then I saw a small palm tree looking like it was only standing by a few threads of root.

I knew that didn't mean it was really going to be easy to move but at the same time it seamed like a good way to work out and increase my vector power.

I thought of a large arrow pulling the tree upward some of the leaves moved as if in a light wind. I narrowed my eyes then Thought of a swarm of arrows of all sizes pulling up on the tree this time the tree shook.

I keeped using the swarm but now I had it change directions pulling it up then left to right then forward then up then suddenly down.

the tree swayed a little then shuddered and creaked under the extra wait baring down on top of it.

I kept at it using the arrows to pull on it and trying to make the arrows longer like I was pulling at them with my mind.

I changed it from random pulling to a rotating movement going up to the sides then back down again.

The groaning and crunching of the tree as it was pulled on was getting louder and steadily moving as if it was just a sapling.

I dropped the arrows knowing that was amazing progress but feeling like I had ben at it for a long time and was getting impatient.

I used one big vector again this time but tried to make it pull at the tree to twist the tree around with its roots as the fulcrum and then used another arrow to pull up at that same point.

the tree swayed and bounced as it was bing moved I pulled it back and forth and used the other arrow to keep pulling out trying to tern the whole thing into a large lever.

I could hear the roots snapping and the leaves shake it was so much louder then I thought it would be but finally the tree did a full rotation with loud pops and then finally a growing crash shook the trees nearby.

"ZAAANE WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?" a voice called from behind me.

I frowned and turned looking up at Eva who was staring down looking scared.

I grinned up at her and waved "I m training my vectors by pulling a tree out of the ground..." I frowned realising just how loud it had ben. "how bad was it up there?"

"the fucking car was shaking and it sounded... awful." Eva said clearly not sure how to say what exactly it sounded like.

"ah... sorry I didn't think of that." I said "and its kinda over now I was just about to move the tree over so that I wouldn't lose the portal when I go for my run."

"...ok well im wanting Chinese are you going to want any?" She asked clearly feeling awkward about talking to me threw the portal.

"...Achuly iv got a quest were if I follow these ants to find there nest il never have to eat again, but now that you talk about it that dose sound good. Im going to finish moving this tree over here you should know what I want if your just going to take it home." I said

"...you sure? I mean if your not going to need to eat anymore is there really any point in buying you food?" she asked with a frown.

"yeah I just got us 250$ right? and that was just from the game that had quarters after I head to the casino were going to be rolling in it." I said with a smile already thinking of what to buy with the money.

"if you say so." she said unsure "well anyway its ben a long day and im hunger so please don't make me crash the car with all that noise."

"yeah sorry I don't think that moving the tree is going to be that much noise and if it dose it wont take me that long. so go ahead and start driving and if it makes to much noise il just stop until you get there." I said looking up at her thinking about jumping a little to give her a quick kiss but worried i'd over shoot and just bump into her at high speed.

"ok... love you." she said before closing the back door to the car and starting it.

It was a strange sound hearing a car start from something like under neath it but not.

I turned back to the tree and frist used the arrows to make sure I could lift the tree I used the swarm of arrows first and it barely lifted off the ground but held there.

I kept it up trying to picture the arrows lifting the tree higher while not actually moving. It seamed to work a bit and it started to rase up.

I figured that was the best way so I just kept it up and watched the tree slowly start to rise up as it losing a battle against my power.

Honestly it felt good watching the tree rise up as my power grew as I used it I clearly lost track of time because Eva called out. "were home you coming out or not?"

I frowned as the tree dropped. "what? realy? fuck, yeah give me just a minute." I called up to her then moved the tree over just letting it drop next to me for now.

I looked up and saw her looking at the tree wide eyed. "I got my jump quest done so look out and il be jumping out of here." I said with a smile.

She frowned taking a couple of steps back and I lept trying to aim at just making it into the car. I thank the points for the fact I glided up and landed softly on my ass in the folded seats.

"holy fuck..." Eva said under her breath.

"impressed?" I said with a grinn shaking the black sand off my shoes best I could then realising I was bing dumb I used my arrows to move the wind to blow my shoes off before climbing out of the car and helping carry in the chinse food.

I felt the goosebumps on my skin as I walked through the cold night air waiting for Eva to unlock the door.

"I think I mite try and sleep out side to night to level up my cold resistance." I said as we walked inside.

"please don't." Eva said. "if nothing else I don't want to have the neighbors call the cops thinking your drunk and asleep in the yard."

"they wouldn't do that. they would just shake there heads then wait to see if I died or if they just had a story to tell people latter." I said setting down the food and looking at the door to use my vectors to shut and lock it.

"so tell me why are you eating when you could just go look at some ants and then never eat again... I mean you have so many food problems as it is." Eva said getting out sodas from the fridge

"Well first of all it mite be our last meal together if its one of those cant eat ever again things." I said getting the food set up. "and i'm hungry now so I want to eat before just in case I never have to eat again cant eat but am locked into a hunger that never ends."

She had a point I have a lout of issues with food and eating and... well living on earth.

"shit would that be even worth it?" she asked with a frown looking at me her glasses perched on her button nose reflected the lightbulb in the kitchen.

"Yeah I could prob just put points into not noticing." I said and gave her a kiss on her full lips. "but with how my jumping quest terned out I dout the magic is trying to fuck me over."

"if you say so." she said and then picked up her containers of food trying to balance them with out her large breasts getting in the way. She had complained many times about them saying how they where far to large and in the way. With her scoliosis and her asma it was like having waits pulling her down constantly.

I liked them but as I said im an asshole.

"After we eat il jump around for you show you what I mean. it is so fucking fun." I said as I gathered up my own food and followed her into the bedroom.

"im glad your having fun but im going to take off my bra and not get back up again unless I have to" she said setting her food down on our coffee table and then getting undressed.

I sat down and watched her noticing the curves of her back and the sort of flatness of her but, and then for her to tern around looking at her large boobs resting on top of her gut her lightly dark skin seamed almost to glow a little from with in, like it always did.

"love you" I said as she sat down next to me "what do you wanna watch?"

"NicoB just uploaded a new video" she said tying up her shoulder length black hair.

"Cool." I said setting up the video on MYtube. "I think im going to get wifi in my brain soon as one of my new powers."

"don't. your already crazy and with have the shit on there who knows what that would do to you." She said digging into her fried rice.

"you have a point." I said eating my chicken "allso what the fuck would a viruse from the internet do to the human brain anyway?"

She just shook her head "hard telling."

"yeah maybe il try it some day when some one I don't like gets powers" I said thoughtfully and suddenly remembered I had points to spend.

I pulled up the blue box and spent the 2 points into point gain and it said I would get 4 points next level up.

"sweet." I said with a smile "iv ben putting points into getting points as I level up. it said the cap is 10 but its one to one so I just need 10 points to get 10 points."

"thats good." Eva said eating as the video loaded.

"yeah... so when are you going to try and go down in?" I asked eating while plotting and planing my next moves.

"...i don't know." she said clearly thining about it but unsure using food as a stalling tactic.

I let her think while I also ate wondering what power Lu would get when he finally woke up, and what power Eva mite get when she got one.

"I think I want to wait. I mean you seam really exited and Lu couldn't wait to go in but I mean theres just so much we don't know." Eva said "I mean its a magic fucking portal who knows what the fuck is going on with it? I mean how did it get here who sent it? why? and well not to be mean or anything but why you? why bumb fuck no-where in our god damn car?"

I nodded and she made good points but at the same time I had lived my whole life feeling like this world was wrong that everything was to loud, bright, and everything seamed to hurt or itch, even food seamed made of horrible things. Like mushrooms, lettice, and most noodles. I knew I wasn't the only one who had problems but I knew that the problems I did have seamed to spell out.

Error born in wrong place/time/reality.

And with how my mind seamed to run and spin and stutter magic always made sense and so did superpowers. I would barley be able to understand how to spell or use grammar in my native tongue but I could think of thousands of ways to twist and use even the simplest spell or power to achieve nearly anything.

I could think in ways that seamed to surprise others notice little things that added up in ways that seamed not to make sense to nearly anyone but me.

I knew that if you woke up a little tired and grumpy and have the thoughts. 'i hope I can get out early today' then by god you'd be at work for hours latter then you should.

If you see all of your co-workers leaving behind piles of crap for other people to do and never leave the same thing behind the one time you do your manager will be right there to give you a dirty look and possibly yell at you for the thing you don't even do but everyone else dose and will absolutely refuse to beleave you when you try to disagree.

I knew the world gave signs to people who couldn't see them or just dismissed them with out a thought. That some times one thing would happen then latter another thing would happen.

But then again I was just crazy so maybe thats why it didn't make sense.

"Well I think the only thing I can really say is that I always told you if magic was real id find it, or would sense it and then get my hands on it." I said eating the last bite I could of my chicken. I had eaten nearly half of the chicken and for me that was a lot I felt near to burst. "And you know im a... thing of my word."

She looked troubled by this as if that was one of the worst things I could say, but she didn't say anything. I knew there was nothing really to say we didn't know enough and we didn't really know what to do other than there was a portal it was real, it had given me powers and that there was little to nothing that could stop me from going back and gaining more power.

I would use that magic to make this world less shit for me and for my love, and if I still had time after then I would try and make the world better for other people as well.

Lu was like a brother to me and after he woke up I would see what power he had gotten and help him do the same thing. Make his world more to his liking and get his help in making my world what I wanted.

"Check my legs out see if they look different." I said standing and pulling up the leg in my shorts.

Eva looked at it for a time then shrugged. "not really"

I nodded then sat down. "I didn't think so either. I'm going to sit and watch this video with you then im going to go back out and finish those quests so I wont need to eat and drink anymore and hopefully get to my 10 points and then see how many points it takes for me not to need to sleep or breath."

"...ok" she said eating and I put my hand on her thy and enjoyed the video with her and after I put the food away and cleaned up letting her sit to try and relax.

I also helped her relax by not using my power to clean up doing it by hand and walking not jumping around.

I kissed her "I loooove youuu."

"love you." she said and kissed me back. we kissed back and forth for a few minutes then she started up a video game to try and play for a while before she went to sleep.

I headed out to my car not bothering change or put on a jaket just taking the key fob already having most of what I thought I needed in the car.

I grabbed the machete and hoped down into the sand this time landing softly.

I grinned then turned to see the tree behind me I stepped over it and then focused on the black sand imaganing arrows twisting and taking sand with it to put into a pile toward the water.

The black sand tornado was so cool I nearly lost concentration on the arrows but caut myself and kept up the tornado until the hole was 4' deep.

I let the sand drop and looked into the hole and just saw more sand witch seamed odd I half expected to see water.

Shrugging it off I lifted the tree and shoved it roots first into the sand then twisted it trying to really drive it into the sand I let it go and waited making sure that it would just fall as soon as I left.

It stayed stuck in the ground so I jumped then jumped off the tree kicking off it trying to make the hit a bit harder to really test it.

The tree shook at the wait of my jump this time but stayed in place.

I grinned then landed back on the sand then jumped over closer to the ants to check witch way it was that the ants were going to get the black stones.

I turned and then pushed off with a foot and landing on the other I waited a minute pulling up my quest to check how much more I had to "run" to complete the quest.

It said I had nearly the whole mile to complete I tried another jump and saw the number start to go up.

I smiled but did have the thought that my jumping was so impressive because I did it all and didn't cheat like I was about to do with my running.

But I knew that I would be using my jumping a lot more then just normal running. It was still worth completing the quest even by cheating.

I took off keeping the ants on my right bounding and following the trail of ants, surprisingly the line of ants ended before my quest did.

The ants gathered at a clif that started just past the sand line of the beach, there were ants that came to pick up the cubes and other ants that didn't have pincers but instead had blue proboscis like moths licking the stone into the cubes.

'the fuck? is this whole fucking beatch black suger?' I thought as my quest complete box popped up and I felt the light scratchy dryness in the back of my throat fade away.

I smiled moving the screen away I tried to look closer at the ants trying to figure out what the hell what kind of ants they even were.

"red worker ants lvl 1"

the blue box popped up when I looked at the ants that were coming to carry the stones away.

That kinda made me worried it didn't say giant, large or huge worker ants just there color. Witch would mean that these ants as big as cats... (were they smaller before) were just the average size for ants around here and that I could one day find out how big it took to get a title of huge.

I looked at the licking ones trying to get the blue boxes to tell me what the fuck that was.

"Red stone-cutter ants"

"thats fucking helpfull" I achuly said sarcasticly out loud to the blue box then shook my head and started leaping the other way following where the workers were carring the stones.

This one was admittedly farther away but still not a mile had gone by before I saw the ants tern into the jungle taking the stones deeper in.

I smiled I had ben wanting to see just how light I now was on my feet jumping up and then trying to jump lightly onto the trunks of the trees then jumping off of them like a stone path.

It was a little more unsteady then I thought it would be but I soon got the hang of it leaping like a mythical assassin.

The ants were easy to see inte white moonlight, on the black dirt and light green trees. They seamed to glow in the moonlight.

I thought about taking one and bringing it out to see what it looked like in sunlight or at lest out side the light of this moon. But that mite make a lot of problems latter especially if some of these ants could fly.

The trail led me deep into the jungle I was happy that I had marked the portal with the tree otherwise I mite get lost... unless I could some how use the blue boxes more like a video game and have it act as a map.

I remembered my many forms of divination and thought that maybe one of them could be used along with my vectors to have an arrow point me the right way.

I checked my blue box and saw the way I had ben jumping from tree to tree was not adding to the quest anymore.

Witch was fine I liked the way I had ben jumping and I didn't want to step on any ants before I was ready I knew that when you kill one ant the rest would start to attack.

A sudden clearing made me leap high into the air to land on a branch hoping that the branch wouldn't snap under my wait as I looked down at the ants as they worked setting the stones into place.

I watched confused as the ants laid the stones it seamed to me like they were making a parking lot. Just a large flat surface of black.

Then I noticed some red ants going down into the thing taking what looked like stairs in some points and in others they came out along another set of stairs leading out to the corpse of the giant bird I had seen on my first trip down the portal.

"quest complete"

I felt the watery energy of the level up and felt the water move as if I was drinking while not moving and it filled my belly then faded just like the rest of the sensations.

I put my 4 points into getting more points again smiling at the fact that I now just had one more level up to get to the max of ten while also having 6 points left over.

"quest received. kill 100 red ants/any reward exp, not needing to breath anymore."

"quest received. Find all 6 different types of the Red Ants. 2/6 reward, exp. special system box upgrades worth 8 points."

I raised my eyebrows at that wondering just what the upgrades would be.

I thought on that as I jumped further up the tree and then tried to jump from tree top to tree top until I made it back to the beach.

I landed on the sand then bounded back toward the stone cutter ants when the quest finally hit complete I smiled even though I hadn't gotten the water feeling of a level up I knew my running would be increased.

So I stopped bounding and started running like a normal human, I zipped along feeling like I was half flying smiling as did so feeling like yet another peace of the world was changed so that I could be happy.

It was a very strange feeling, one that I only remembered having when Eva agreed to date me and to let me hold her.

Most people's skin hurt bing both to hot and some how slimy, but Eva's had felt smooth, soft, and just a little bit warm.

The way I ran reminded me of the surprised moment when I felt her skin and found it felt good instead of painful.

Not nearly as damn good mind you but the running and jumping had felt like things were going to get better. things are starting to add up to good instead of mound of shit.

I ran noticing the ant's quarry. impulsive I lept and landed right on top of a stone cutter its body crunching under my shoes before I lept up again landing on top of the short clif.

I pulled up the head of the ant I just crushed getting a better look at it while below a ripple coursed threw both lines of ants as they noticed the death pheromones and begin to swarm over the area were the first had died.

The red ant looked exactly how I thought an ant with a bug tongue would look I couldn't see anything else odd about it.

So I used my power to pull the head one way and the proboscis or bug tongue the other then I let the head of it drop. I then used my arrows to have the tongue rub on one of the panicking ants seeing if it would cut threw the other ant.

It worked and I grinned an evil grin using the tongue to kill another 10 ants then noticed that the tongue wasn't cutting anymore. Frowning I let it drop into the sand and this time picked up a whole ant and just rubbed its face onto the other ants aiming for its joints to there heads or thorax.

My kill cout was up to 30 when I saw a new typ of ant rushing into the group. the were larger then the others and looked more like wasps then ants but there stingers bent over the tops of them than rather than curling under like a normal wasp.

Oddly there stingers were the same blue as the bug tongues of the stone cutters. Thinking about it for just a second longer it made a lot of sense that something that was used to cut stone would be weaponized for another breed of the ants.

I looked closely at it and the blue box popped up saying it was a Red Soldier Ant. lvl 5

Smiling I ripped apart the stone cutter I held and dropped the body then picked up one of the soldiers and ripped off its antena so that it would go into a frenzy.

It worked out better then I hoped. The ant struggled and thrashed its stinger lashing out and the blue tip seamed to last out and strike the other ants near it.

The stinger seamed more like a frog's tongue then a real stinger and then I realized that was exactly what was going on.

It was just a different version of the tongue on the ant head but this time shaped and made to leap out cut then come back to the ant.

I held the ant up amazed at the way they had evolved and wondered if maybe they didn't. If they were made if this whole place was made by some1 or something with a lot of power.

I liked the idea others mite be creeped out or even terrified but I liked the idea that one day I could make my own little world like this one of sand and fucked up ants.

'I wonder how many points that would take?' I thought to my self as I kept using the stinger of the soldier ant to kill the other ants that kept coming.

'wow this is so easy its kinda boring.' I thought looking down on the ants that were panicking and trying to kill the one I was using to kill the others.

I noticed that the soldiers had stopped coming and there were new ants coming that were slightly smaller than the soldiers but they were much faster and covered in blue spikes.

"Warrior Red Ant Level 10"

The warrior ant jumped like a grasshopper the spikes ripping threw the other ants and I grabbed one when it landed to throw it into another one but this time it bounced instead of cutting threw the other warrior ant.

'yep that tracks' I thought then checked my kill count seeing that I had hit 50 ants. I wondered idly if a new ant would just show up every 25 kills.

I looked around noticing that there was just a few ants left and they were all the blue thorned ants.

I took the one I already had lifted and then put it against the stone of the cliff under me.

I watched as the thorns cut into the stone like water threw snow.

I used my arrows to spin the ant so it couldn't get a grip and also so that it would cut a bigger whole into the stone. I used the ant to cut a large gash of the stone in as close to a straight line as I could then moved it up cutting 2 more large lines all the way up to where I was standing on the cliff top.

I then lept a little further cutting the stone that was at my feet me severing the large slab I made from the cliff face, letting it fall to crush the rest of the warrior ants below.

I really wished I could fly or had some sort of power that would let me see the collapsing stone falling and crushing the ants from a better angle the only thing I saw was the ground before me crack and start to fall and then all the rock around me began to crack.

I jumped up as high as I could and watched as the cliff crumbled the stone cracking then giving way.

The sound of black stone hitting black stone roared up to meet me. I saw the slab I had try to cut shatter as it hit the beach below nocking sand into the air in a billowing cloud of black.

I had dropped the ant I used to cut with and just hoped it died with the others in the land slide. I used the vector sheild I had ben playing with earlier to try not to breath in as much as I could of the sand.

It worked out very well the wind I made pushing away the sand so in the end I didn't even get dirty.

There was still the problem of were I was going to land. I might be safe from the sand but I still couldn't see where the stone was or wasn't. By the sounds of it the stones hadn't even stopped moving.

I tried to aim my fall away from were I knew the stones had ben so at least then I could try and make a jump for further away.

I landed feeling the stone shifting under my feet I started to tumble but turned it into a leap. If I remembered right I was flying into the sea.

'Hope Lu doesn't get pissed I got his machete wet... I'll by him a new one.' I thought as I flew out of the black cloud of sand and saw the water stretch out below me.

I smiled looking over the water it had ben a while sense I had gone swimming though I loved to the feeling of floating in water was one of the only times I felt really relaxed.

But if I was going to swim it would be when I chose, I only had the one pair of shoes after all. I took the machete and put it under my feet and held on with both ands one on eater side of my feet then used arrows to pull up on the machete I considered trying to fly like that for just a moment then remembered I couldn't even stand on a moving skateboard so trying to learn to fly was way out.

So instead I jumped aiming for further up the beach pulling the machete up and back into my hand. The sand was settling as I landed then I jumped again aiming for where I thought the portal was.

Rising back up into the air I pulled up my ant kill count and saw it was only at 70.

I frowned and looked around seeing if I could find the line of ants. But it seamed they scattered when the cliff came down.

I sighed but turned to look at the damage I did to the cliff. Jagged black rocks lay dusty on the sand like a huge smashed plate.

I saw something in the rocks and started laughing. I do that some times when I see something that makes a lot of things start to add up or something that is surprising.

Scattered threw out the rocks were white crystal bones and large black beaks. I refused to beleave that they were diamonds theres no way I was that lucky.

But still I laughed not just at the bones scattered on the ground but at all the ones still in the cliff. It was a fresco of battle and death.

Bird-men skeletons clearly locked into some sort of battle beaks and claws taring at each other. Some of the bones were cracked and others seamed to have claws stuck into the bones or ribs of other bird-men.

It looked like one of those paintings of a battles of hell.

I laughed trying to piece that sean together with the ants and with the huge bird-man that had killed himself when I first got here.

'Did I see there god commit suicide cus there was no other followers but the ants?' I thought shaking my head looking at the lightly glowing crystal bones.

blue boxes started appearing one after the other

"you have leveled up now that the danger is over your points will be awarded."

I stopped laughing annoyed that I didn't get that first level up and missed out on 14 points from the 7 levels I had gained killing all of the ants.

Just like I planed I put 2 points into gaining more points maxing that out. Then I put 10 points into a permanent boost to all training so that even when I was back on earth I would get a boost of 10% and in this portal I would get a boost of 40% to all training.

I was starting to feel tired so I tried to see how many points it would be to not sleep anymore but the box come up red this time instead of blue.

"Quest needed to buy this upgrade."

I found worrying already that I would see this message way more times then my rage meter could handel.

"Quest received. explore inside the ants nest reward exp and no longer needing to sleep. (8 hours until quest can be started)"

'ok thats fucking weird' I thought to myself with a frown, and sighed 'gess I mite as well wait on that other quest untill im able to get that quest done.'

I was getting tired enough that it was kinda getting hard to think.

I tried to remember the list of things I was planing on getting but it was hard to remember.

"quest go sleep in your bed. reword exp and vector upgrade to move modification points from yourself to others."

"da fuck?" I said out loud looking at the quest prompt knowing that is something I wanted but nearly afraid of why I got a quest to go to bed.

'What the fuck is on this beach at night? wait that doesn't make sense.' I thought and jumped up looking around for the tree my head spinning a little as I rose up.

I saw the tree and fell toward it then jumped off sideways so that I would rush threw the sand as much as I could with out moving.

I jumped lightly out of the portal into the car setting the machete aside and grabbing the keys I had left under a seat closing the door and making it to my front door in one leap.

I opeaned it and barly remberd to lock it as I headed to bed kicking off my shoes I didn't bother to get undressed as I layed down next to Eva wondering what fucking time it was anyway.

I half expected some strange dreams or more spirts trying to talk to me in my second time sleeping sese I got my magic but I just had my normal running and moving veag dream it seamed to go on forever though.

I awoke to Eva getting up and trying to get ready for work she.

"fuck" she said kicking aside one of my shoes nearly triping I herd her trying to find her hair brush she sarted to brush her hair

"ow" she said clearly annoyed that she hurt a toe or something while tripping over my shoe.

She put on her bra then put on a pair of pants "that realy fucking hurt." she said seaming to notice she had woken me up

"Sorry. I was passing out after being in the portal." I said releasing I needed to get up or lose the portal until she came home or I jumped to the Walts from our apartment across town.

She put her shirt on then sat down to try and put her socks on and thats when she actually saw her toe and just got very still and quiet.

I noticed something was up and hopped out of the bed looking at her foot as she held it up staring. The toe right next to her big toe on her left foot was shorter then it should be the toe nail was gone and there was bright blue veins growing from it into her foot and they pulsed sickeningly.

"FUCK" I yelled and tryed to imagen an arrow pulling at the base of that nasty blue vain up and out of her toe.

Eva screamed as one of the veins started to move but the other ones started to move aside growing faster and throbbing angrily now.

I tried to think with Eva screaming and just had to talk out loud to try and process my thoughts.

"fuck its not working shit shit sorry fuck I just did a quest im going to try and put points into you to heal that ok?" I said then tried to imagine an arrow going from my points into Eva and them turning into healing powers.

red boxes appeared

"you can not control what points are put into yet."

"target dose not have enough mana to put points into"

"FUCK!" I yelled then yelled at the screans "fucking put points into making portals then"

a blue box appeared

"30 points applied to making portals"

I felt a roar of water wash threw me like I was being slammed with the water from a pent up dam.

I breathed in deeply pulling in that rush of power and movement channeling it into my hand thinking of the beach imagining it as clearly as I could then thinking of the path I would have to walk to get there from here and then just forced the two places to pull together it was hard and it seemed to fight me trying to pull back away I could feel a shaking in the air. The air started to chern with little bubble portals like the top of a boiling pot of water.

Eva stopped screaming.

'This is taking to fucking long' I thought angraly and pulled harder using my rage to pull even harder trying to force the air to stop its shit and opean the damn portal.

The bubbling portals swelled and pushed together like one large bubble or more like a pool of water that had stopped bubbling. that held the image of the beatch in it I held it and used an arrow to pull Eva into it she rolled onto the beach she gasped in pain and sparise.

I lost concentration glad to know she was alive and the bubble popped out of existence.

'at least she's on the beach.' I thought and then started running nearly ripping open the door and almost forgetting my house key as I rushed slamming the door closed behind me and I think if I had not left the car door unlocked I would have tried busting a window in order to jump down into the portal and try and find Eva.

I didn't remember seeing the tree when I threw her in but luckily I had dropped her just to the left of the real portal.

I rushed to her side and tried to talk to her repeating her name until she looked at me. "EVA im going to give you point put them into healing your self. You got it?" I tried not to yell making trying to make sure she was paying attention as there was blue veins throbbing in her chest and rising up to her neck now.

I put my hand on her chest hoping it would help and tried to imagin an arrow the same color blue as the pop up boxes with the number 14 on it (the last of my points) going into her.

this time a checkered blue and red box appeared it was as if some one had taken both boxes then cut them up and tried to put them together.

They seamed to be saying can not do this and its already done at once.

"just say you want healing just say you want to fucking heal it can hear you" I told Eva hoping the blue didn't move into her lungs yet.

"...heal." she gasped "healing I want to get better, heal me."

Then her whole body went stiff and I swear I saw red and blue half circles spinning in her eyes like a god damned loading screen. Then she let out a deep breath that had blue and red mist in it then relaxed and seamed to close her eyes and go to sleep.

I looked at her foot to make sure she still hand one. Other then the blue veins and the one missing toe I didn't see any problems with it. I then lifted her pant leg to look up it to make sure no other parts of her had ben eaten away.

It seemed that whatever the hell it was wanted to go into her more then it had actually wanted to eat her.

"what the fuck is this blue shit anyway" I half demanded of my screens.

"quest incomplete. see every type of Red Ant 4/6"

"is that what the fuck the mystery prize is at the end of that?" I asked it with a glare a new blue box appeared.

"Quest to explore the Ant's tunnels now started."

I sat there breathing hard. Im not sure what you would call the expression on my face. It felt like what would happen if blank surprise met the red hot heat of rage.

I raised a fist and smashed the screen apart. I had half expected it to just be transparent but it shattered like thin ice and disappeared like a popped bubble.

I ran into the woods not playing around or trying to jump or glide I just ran to move as fast as I could to find out as much as I could as soon as I could.
