It Eyes engaged each other, waiting in a killing silence unshaken from the chilly snowflakes, all that happened in the past moments was Zane being helped warmed up while the unidentified ginger girl wailed her prickling eyes out.

Killing winds played a remarkable tone throughout the grey, puffy sky, whistling past both of the muted, awkward figures sitting under the falling hoar, setting a weird vibe between both of them.

"Sorry for my annoying cries" The ginger girl awkwardly laughed slightly, embarrassingly scratching up her left wrist like an addiction she couldn't survive away from in front of the non-animated smoky eyes covered by a fluffy balaclava, hiding his face features away.

"No no, you don't have to apologise for crying" Zane replied motionlessly, scrutinizing the armoured vest the female wore, having ammo filled pockets attached to it.

"Uh ok—are you wearing that mask to stay warm?" The female questioned in an uncomfortable posture.

"Yes and no, I'm also wearing it just in case the government notices who I am" Zane boringly answered, still peering at the armoured vest.

"Interesting, so you were the rumoured student who vanished 2-3 years ago...the student I was looking for" She gleefully spoke, placing her slender fingers onto her soft, rosy lips in a thinking way.

"So since I'm still learning about the situation I was kept away from, how did you know I went to that school when I was wearing all black?" Zane suspiciously explored.

"I knew because that's the only school near the mansion I lived and because you sounded young, but what do you mean by learning the situation you were held away from?" The female described, bringing up another question.

"Well that wasn't me" Zane abruptly responded, stabbing the female in the heart.

"T-then I cried over a random person?" She gasped to herself, embarrassingly looking away from Zane's mysterious stare.

"What I meant is that it wasn't me. Well, it was me but with a completely diverse personality, I never knew about" Zane quickly rationalized, trying to tidy up the misunderstandings.

Relieved on the discomfiting moment she took a deep breath and caressed her tanned hand across her sweating, flushed forehead.

"Now all the explanation is done, my name is Gianna Fox. What is your name, masked man?" The female chirped under the welcoming ambience.

"It's Zane, Zane Fog" Zane introduced himself back in return.

"Zane Fog, it's a very unique name undoubtedly" Gianna gasped surprised, rubbing her chin softly.

Gianna after having a long discussion with Zane told him to follow her to the hidden hideout she was staying in, the town from behind grew further and further, only having a hampered view of howling flames waving to their doom.

Lines between pavement and soil came to an ending look as Zane walked over the barrier into the tangling, white forest, drawing his wandering eyes to an appealing sight of a bricky mansion.

Animal instincts kicked in Zane when he detected the blinding glint caused by a sniper scope target Zane exceptionally.

Anger poured out of Zane's restricted emotional face, resulting in him wrapping his muscled arms around an immediate Gianna, dragging her panicked weight behind covered trees, after this was safely done, Gianna nastily slapped Zane continually on his arms, struggling to weaken his stronger grip.

"Was this a plan to end me off right here?" Zane coldly whispered in Gianna's ear, screaming red alertness in her disturbed system to run from the aberration of an aura.

"No?! I-I don't understand what you're o-on about!" Gianna whimpered.

"What's with them guys aiming their snipers at me then?" Zane asked again, sounding way colder and detached than before, beginning to terminate Gianna's rotation to breathe out her trapped lungs.

"It's because you're a p-person they haven't seen before—so, they would, of course, be on guard mode" Gianna managed to squeeze out of her dying hours.

Likewise, the arms wrapped around Gianna's neck softened and Gianna was able to break free, immediately twisting her whole body around with a pistol aiming at Zane's forehead in a flash.

Regardless, Gianna noticed Zane exhaling deep breaths which seemed to calm down her fight or flight system, later on drawing her pistol back in her pocket located to the bottom right side of her hip.

"Jesus, your serious switch is scary" Gianna breathed out after staying silent for seconds.

"Sorry, my instincts just kicked in that's all" Zane quietly laughed for a response, silencing Gianna to a speechless state as she finally heard his laugh up close "Uh, you good?" Zane worriedly quizzed, placing his gentle hands onto her trembling, blushed shoulders.

Zane then went on to be handcuffed in front of the curious, equipped with weapons crowd who had a small town next to their camp bents, Gianna silently followed Zane into the basement under the lonely mansion.

Unpleasant cheese scents introduced itself to Zane as he wandered into a metal cell where he met soldiers in military wear sulking in cramped, humid corners, ignoring Zane's presence as he investigated all the middle-aged men and women prisoned cellmates.

"Just don't do anything stupid and get yourself killed while I'm busy trying to get you out of the cell, and possibly recruit you" Gianna beamed, clutching onto the metal bars, standing very approximately beside Zane who nodded slowly towards her for an acknowledged response.

It was a sheltered sleep hole Zane was searching for, but not the kind of shelter where untrusted cellmates, who are from the military government share the same shelter as him to sleep in cramped positions.

"What a fucking dumbass" Zane annoyingly insulted himself.

Zane remained in the prison cell for an unknown amount of time, doubting and beating himself up over the dumb decision he made from disbanding from his old home.

All he thought about in his trapped time was about the amazing rabbit meat he ate daily, developing a rumbling, greedy craze for cooked rabbit meat as he poked through the metal bars and out of the risen empty rectangle holes, gaping at the glittery light lines plummet onto the concrete wall he sat on.

"Rabbit meat" Zane grunted peacefully.
