《Gray Hour: The Cursed Coin》The Edge of the Beginning

It hurt. Her head hurt; her body was full of bruises, and someone was holding her tightly. Her hair was flying around as the wind got stronger. She wanted to move her legs, but she couldn't find the strength in them. Breathing was hard and focusing on anything in front of her was harder. She had to blink a few times to realize where she was and that she wasn't alone.
She was on a rooftop.
And he was with her.
Suddenly, breathing got easier and her brain started to function. She could feel her face getting paler as the realization hit her hard, and tears slowly blurred her vision. Diana wanted to look at her watch to see time even though it was useless. She knew It was five minutes to twelve, and what was going to happen in the next five minutes was dreadful.
"Babe." She felt a hand on my face. "Are you okay? Are you scared? Don't worry, it will be fast, it will be all over before you think about it." His voice made chills run through her body. She shook her head as he pushed her backward.
"Please no, Elliot," Diana begged, her voice was shaking, so was her body. "Let's not do this." She knew what the answer was going to be, she knew how he was going to reply. She had seen this countless time, every time in a different place and setting.
He looked puzzled and stopped pushing her. His eyes seemed to bore into hers, and she had no way of looking away as if she was hypnotized. "What are you talking about?"
She couldn't stop herself from getting hopeful. It was absurd and dumb, but maybe…
Maybe he would listen.
"We can go to another country. We can pack our stuff and go away. Never see anyone anymore. There is no need for this, hmm?" This time, She was the one holding onto him, clenching his thin white shirt between her fingers. "They won't catch us. They will never be able to,"

His eyes slowly closed and opened again, startling her. There was no light there, no reaction, nothing. It was as if he had already given up on everything, and no words reached him.
But she had to at least try. Try once again. "Didn't we say it was us against the world?" she gave him the most convincing smile she could pull off in this situation, which apparently wasn't much.
Diana knew and memorized what would happen by heart, but that didn't mean it didn't crush her heart every time. "They will take you away from me. They will kill us and throw us away. They took everything away from me, but I won't let them take you," He said chillingly, removing her hands off him and pushing her backward with more strength this time.
She tried fighting, but she couldn't. She tried choking up few words, but his eyes said it all. This was useless.
Why did it tear out her heart every time?
Why did it crush her?
She was dumb.
She was foolish.
She could feel the change of the breeze when they reached the edge. She started sweating and feeling lightheaded. Yes, she had experienced this many times, but she couldn't get used to it.
"Come on now, they will be coming here soon." He 'helped' her up the edge and they were both standing side by side this time. His hand was gripping hers roughly and this time a tear fell down. "Don't cry, we will be together," He said with a smile.
His gray eyes that she always loved didn't seem so kind anymore; didn't look as vibrant as she remembered. Maybe it was because of the lack of light or maybe because of hopelessness, but his eyes were so dark almost touching black. It all made her feel suffocated, and there was nothing she could do about it. She wanted to tell him that it will be alright and that they are together, but she knew nothing would reach him.

He drove both of them into a corner.
Diana was never prepared for the jump, but at that moment, she could feel everything go by so much slower. She could hear her heartbeat and his and the entire universe's. It was surreal and terrifying. She didn't know if her head was full of thoughts or if it was blank, but her headache only got worse.
Her body felt both heavy and light against the wind, and she slowly started to faint.
She wanted to look at Elli one last time to see his face, but when she turned her head in the midst of this all, her eyes caught the sight of her watch.
It was five past twelve.

Dimensional Originator
Adam is having a terrible time. To start the day off he died in a car accident. And that isn't even the most painful thing that happened to him. That would be merging with a strange crystal. After that he ended up stuck in an endless black void. He does eventually get rescued. But quickly realizes his soul has been put in the body of a fallen noble and his fate is to be little more than a breeding slave for the cultivation clan that purchased him. To top it all off his new body had been bedridden for weeks and he can barely get out of bed. Not everything is terrible though. The crystal he merged with is called a dimensional originator. Using life and death energy he can create miniature universes. Given enough energy and time he could even create an entire universe. For a moment Adam thought things were looking up. Too bad the author finds things going horribly wrong far more entertaining. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it as somewhere between PG-13 and R for violence, gore, and nudity.

TTWN: The Tale of Will Newbie
This series is inspired by the music of TheFatRat, please take a look if you don't know who he is here. Everyone wants to live in a fantasy world, right up until they have to face dark beings beyond their comprehension. Everyone wants to be a hero, right up until every day becomes a fight for their life. Sixteen-year-old introvert Will Newbie lives in a fantasy world. He's the hero of this story. He has been left with nothing; after a brief adventure in the mountains near his home, he returns to find his entire home missing, every person mysteriously vanishing into thin air. All that's left for him is his rather, "disembodied" older sister and the quest given to him by a rat-turned-god: Gather a team of Champions, fight back against the forces of Sin, and save the world. But if he's learned anything, it's that being a hero isn't as easy as it sounded in the books. So, he'll have to keep himself together, keep his team from tearing each other apart, and figure out just how much he's willing to sacrifice for what he believes in. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! This is my first fully written story, so I want to improve. Positive or negative, I'll take it into account! I will try to update weekly every Friday, but as I'm pretty new to this kinda grind expect some irregularities. The covers are also by moi, done in Pixel Studio. Quite proud of them, really.

Red Clay Technical Services: Mercenaries, Magicians, and Marketing
Bobby likes Pabst Blue Ribbon, NASCAR races, and throwing fireballs. A through and through Georgia boy, raised down in the sticks but now working with all things mystic. He is, in other words, a magician. Not just any magician- but one bound by the most egregious of terms: business contracts. See, a long time ago, Bobby got himself involved with a dragon whose business was making magicians, and Bobby wanted magic to be his business. Both of them having common interest, Bobby agreed to sign over his services in exchange for phenomenal (draconic) magic. A pretty awesome deal, right? The contract put him at the top percentage of human magicians, on top of having the backing of a dragon patron, and a fantastic set of benefits befitting an esteemed contractor, so it'd be smooth sailing from then on, right? Not so. That kind of power isn't granted without strings attached, and Bobby's practically bound up in them. Following the esoteric laws set forth by magicians , juggling them with the mortal interests he still has to abide by, and finding himself at the beck and call of a fickle and opaque patron makes his life as a magician a rollercoaster of ups and downs. But when his patron sets him on a strange task- with stranger company, no less, even Bobby has to question what his mission really is. Delving into fantastic crimes and cracking open mysteries is just the least he can do, and he'll do it with the help of his gun, his wand, and his trusted allies both large and small. --- Cover art is of the Georgia Guidestones. Chapters released on a semi-regular basis, at least one every two weeks, sometimes more. Also published on Offprint.net, Webnovel, and Scribblehub under the same title!

Healing Dungeon
// DUNGEON Mechanics will start to appear around chapter 100+/Arc 3 of the story! \ Avan, a 25-year-old young man, is torn from his rather boring life. He awakens in Aorus, a world full of magic, monsters and dungeons. By a stroke of luck and an ominous skill called "Potential", he awakens a new class never seen before called Dungeonheart (Human). Dungeons, although sentient, are never sapient nor mobile. Join Avan as he pursues his passion for healing and martial arts, and building his very own dungeon at the same time. He’s the hybrid of a moving dungeon and a healer. "Healing Dungeon" will include City building, strategy, very little romance, exploration of the world of Aorus, and a touch of power levelling. (There are elements from other fantasy novels, as well as anime, games, and more). What will all be possible with a dungeon that can move, but still brings some of the familiar dungeon mechanics along for its journey? -- Please note that the beginning and thus the first chapters were really my first writing works in english, and can only be rewritten at a later time (lack of time in favor for new chapters) --(The writing style and also the story improves VERY much from the 12th chapter at the latest! Proofreading is available, but I depend on any well-intentioned advice from you guys). If you have any questions, suggestions, constructive criticism, or just because you feel like it, feel free to leave me a comment below the respective chapters! For every positive and serious review or rating, I am infinitely grateful! ;) I am a creature of few words and the beginning is therefore a little faster than I would have liked it now in retrospect. Please do not expect huge paraphrases and descriptions of the environments, but only what is really necessary to get into the scene. Cheers and hopefully see you in the comment section.
