《Reincarnated into an Unfinished Online RPG》001: A Tale of Two Dumps

I really have to take a shit.
I've been walking for hours. I can feel it in my legs.
There's no way to keep track of the passage of time in this area.
The space outside of the cloud road is obscured by thick cloud cover, and it feels like the source of light moves from above to below, rather than East to West.
But my legs are conditioned to know how far 10 km is, because that's roughy the distance from my apartment to the Tokyo Dome, where I would watch the Hams crush the Yomiuri Giants.
That's right, whenever I watched the games in person at Biggueggu, the Hams would win and the Giants would lose. So I made sure to buy as many tickets to Hams games and attend them in person.
That's why my legs are so athletic. And that's how I know I've been walking for far longer thn 10 km.
My last memories of the office happened at 4:00 afternoon JST, and I had had a big lunch that day consisting of...everything that wants to come out now.
Guu.
I keep walking in the hopes of finally arriving at "Olympia Skywalk".
If this world were a video game, simply leaving that "field" would have automatically taken me to Olympia Skywalk.
That's a big "if".
It resembles the video game Sugar Maple but this isn't a video game.
At least not for me.
There are no stat screens, level ups, or experience points that I can see.
Or skills.
Or anything like magic or superpowers that I've encountered.
In the original game, the world map was divided into "towns" and "fields". Quite simply, towns were safe areas where monsters didn't appear. Fields were danger areas where monsters made habitat.
The area my kouhais and I spawned in was the first "field" in the Himmler Cumulonimbus, a 'continent' of islands in the sky made of a solid type of iron cloud, Cumulonickel.
The iron cloud is more buoyant than the air in this region, and floats atop the air like islands do the ocean.
In fact, if I were to dive off one of these clouds, I would immediately die due to the toxicity of and thickness of the air. It's not breathable to the lungs, eyes or skin.
Below Himmler is Sugar Maple's greatest mountain range, Goering Peaks, and because of the toxic air the only safe passage is through the Olympus Tor, a 99-floor stone tower connecting the Himmler Cumulonimbus and the town of Goer's Hamlet.
Olympus Tor isn't a town, each floor is a "field" and the monsters there in the original game were high level. At my current strength, there's no way I could ever hope to mke it down to Goer's Hamlet.
So the only option is to go the opposite direction.
Himmler is not the beginner region of the game. In fact, you could call it the endgame region, despite being designed to be midgame.
And that's because Sugar Maple is an unfinished game.
The developers, Wisent, abandoned the game for future development and instead turned their attention to a sequel, Sweet Sugar Maple or Sugar Maple II.
I won't say tht Sugar Maple was a big part of my childhood. I was 17 when it came out, and I played it for a single year before going to university and working for Ashikaga Soft.
I have fond memories of many other games from my youth, expriences that I shared with long gone friends, and I didn't even like Sugar Maple all that much due to the lack of care from the developers.
But it does hold one special place in my heart.
It was the last video game I ever played before...
...
There.
About 1000 meteres away from me, I can see the clouds open up to a wide, open expanse.
Even from this distance, without my glasses, I can recognize it.
...
Without my glasses?
I had scarcely realized that I was able to see just fine without glasses.
Could this be one of my isekai CHEATS??
What other powers do I have?!
I was so excited by the potential of getting a cheat, I loosened my anal muscles a bit.
A wet sensation dribbled out.
The mechnical grinding of all that walking had taken a toll on my large intestine.
I have two options. I can spare my trousers and give the walkway a new coat of paint, or I can try to preserve my dignity and risk shitting my pants as I waddle to the finish line.
My intenstines are bubbling, the clock has started. I have seconds to react.
...
...

You want to know what this plot thread and I have in common?
We both have no ends.

Twice Lived
Previously called Standard Reincarnation Story In a fraction of a moment, the Earth was no more. The planet was destroyed, and billions and billions of people were dead. And it was all an accident. This is the story of Elm. A regular American born once on earth and given a chance to be reborn again on a planet with magic and monsters and dungeons. Except that for Elm, this is far from the idealistic reincarnation into a loving family -- the standard story of a child raised by loving parents who teach him the ways of the world, Instead, Elm is born into a family of inquisitors. An order of nobility that is dedicated to hunting down and killing "Twice-Lived" -- the name society has for people like Elm who are reincarnated with all their memories of their past life intact. Disclaimer This story is: 1) Extremely violent and graphic. 2) Still in a rough draft stage. I see what I am writing more like a synopsis than a fully fledged story. I periodically will go back to flesh out earlier chapters, build characters, etc... If you find the words "Show don't tell," comforting accept that unfortunately, I'm not at that stage of the writing process yet. 3) At one point this story was called "Standard Reincarnation Story," and I had written an extremely off-putting description of the story. This was mostly to keep out people who would just read the silly first few chapters then rage quit as soon as the violent stuff got started. Since I just had my first .5 star rating (without a page read count increase) that technique is not working, so I might as well treat this as a regular fiction and try to get regular readers.

The blue Astrum of memories
Some of you believe in fate and some of you don't. That's ok in our world. In the world that I created Fate has been acting strange and selfish for a long time. She was always fascinated with humans and the fact that they had soulmates because a lot of other races didn't. Ever since humans started traveling through space, that opened millions of new opportunities for Fate to make the human soulmates meet. However, because of her strange behaviour Fate made too many mistakes. After that, Fate made what she thought, was a good move. What she didn't count on was that the good move she made knew that you can cheat fate. One and his crew don't know how ironic it is that she chose them to make her good move. ------------------------------- I didn't use any movies, books or series for inspiration the story is my original work. This is just the result of my weird imagination and brain telling me what to write. I hope you liked it :) It’s just a story, like all of my other stores. It doesn’t have a deeper spiritual, moral or ethical meaning.

Within the Imaginarium Bond were three worlds that the mysterious man created with the last of his powers. Witness the tales of Dyne Valiant in his adventure as a Nostalgic Gamer in a Cultivation World. --- (Will also be posting this on Scribblehub.com and Webnovel. Support me on Patreon and read more (up to 90 chapters there!) Note: This isn't my first rodeo. I have written over 1000 chapters on two other ongoing stories that is ongoing with a 3-4 chapter per week rate at Webnovel and another in Meganovel. This will probably have at least 900 chapters before it ends. And I'm being very conservative. As this story is at its early phase, please read and rate it as such.

Status: [Ongoing] . . . _______________________________________________________________ :'Original'Synopsis: _______________________________________________________________ . . . Aristocles was no normal guy. Living his life on the edge of insanity and daring, he led the charge on every military campaign you can think of. He toppled governments and seized control over nearly half of his world in less than a few years of beginning his military campaigns. Nearly a decade into his reign, aliens from another world invaded his world. With his whole race on the line, everyone swore fealty to him in hopes for victory. When taking the field, he and his forces took the field, they easily drove the aliens to the brink of defeat. Just when it seemed the day was saved, Aristocles came across what seemed to be the ground leader. """"Do you yield"""" Aristocles stated with a mighty and intimidating voice. """"Blow up the planet"""" was the response. In the next moment, Aristocles looked into the sky as a beam came to pierce his planet. His last words were """"You cheated"""" """"So?"""". Upon his death Aristocles heard """"This one has finally died, though his world is gone, will now reincarnate in different universe. Error, memories retained, changing reincarnation to ant, solution verified, confirm."""" Just like that, Aristocles woke up to discover that he was a larva in a small ant hill. Not only that, but he could see an experience bar and hp bar in the corner of his eye [HP:1] [MP:0] [EXP: 0/1]. How will Aristocles survive as the weakest being you could possibly think of? Join me in the great adventure of ANT TENSEI! . . Status: [Being Re-written/ Discontinued/On Hiatus] 'Final' Chapter: Chapter 14 . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Official Rewrite Notice: _______________________________________________________________ . . . As of May 18th, 2015, the particular version of Ant Tensei now being titled 'Original' was discontinued in favor 'Redux', the official rewrite of the novel. The reason being that I wasn't actually taking it seriously for more than half of the chapters. All of my Fantasy-Styled works were never originally intended for publication, but after a surprising amount of attention during the initial weeks of release on a different medium, the decision was made to develop my Fantasy-Styled works at my professional level. This decision has thus sparked the decision to Re-Launch Ant Tensei as "Ant Tensei Redux". If there are still a number of those still interested in the old version of the story that was written as a way to relieve myself of excess time, then i'll eventually look into reviving the original intent for Ant Tensei Original and draft off an independant series for it under the title "Ant Tensei Original". For now, however, "Ant Tensei Redux" shall be the only version being progressively developed and released. Please share your thoughts on this early version of my original novel, Ant Tensei. There were 14 chapters of Original released before the development of Redux began, the chapter 7.5 special not included. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Overall Status: (Ongoing)
