《The Traveler's Adventures》Personal Entry: College

Why do we have to take etiquette classes? It’s not even magic, it’s just knowing what to say to certain people and for the most part I will never see those people, but for some reason it’s part of the required courses. I would’ve spent the extra time studying but no, I have to sit in class and listen as some non-magical spellcaster goes and pander off about how we should always be polite to others above our “standard” and to grovel like dogs.
It’s just a simple waste of time. I understand that to keep my scholarship that I have to pass all my classes, but it’s just a hassle. Master Magnolia never mentioned how much of a pain in the ass this would be. Although I do remember now that he mentioned etiquette classes but only in passing, when we were going over classes I’ll end up taking a while ago.
It’s been a while since I last saw Master Magnolia but I’m sure he’s exploring, looking for new magic for the college. Since it’s his job, it’s not unreasonable but sadly we never really speak to each other now, since he’s off wandering.
At the very least I’ve found a new friend. His name is not in Common though, but through one of my newer spells, Comprehend Languages, I’ve been able to get a sense of what his name is. Although I find his nickname, Scribbles, funnier so I use that more often. He’s rather unique, a Warlock instead of a normal wizard, so his spells are often limited yet powerful.
He’s also not human, nor one of the usual races that inhabit the college. He’s what is called a Teifling, which in broad terms is a human with devil characteristics. He hides everything under a lot of baggy clothes, but after hanging out with him long enough I was able to learn Abyssal, with the help of Comprehend Languages, and grew closer to him, enough for him to show me that he is a tiefling. I heard stories about tieflings but Scribbles didn’t really feel like anything bad, just some kid like myself getting through college.

Essence Eater (A Super Progression Fantasy)
Gods. Demons. Aliens. Superheroes. Supervillains.Consume them all for power. Eighty years have passed since WW2, when Prime took to the skies and ended the war. No one knows what gave him his power, or what birthed the wave of supers that came after. Some claimed the nuclear bombs dropped in Japan cracked the barrier between Universes, allowing alien energies to enter the dimension. Others believed the wars finally triggered what humanity needed to reach a new stage of evolution. Daniel Das lives with his uncle in post-super London, the League of Hero's primary hub. He's spent all of his twenty-one years pushing himself, training in martial arts and studying supers, hoping he'll awaken his metagene and gain super powers. The cut-off age is close, but he hasn't yet awakened superpowers. Meanwhile, the League is steadily losing parts of the city to the growing villain factions. Daniel's uncle wishes to keep him away from the world of supers, but with the hot zones closing in, that's easier said than done. There are villains selling unregulated superpowers to gangs and dark days are on the horizon. Despite his limitations, there is no stopping Daniel. He is ravenous for power. If needed, he will ally with demons if they give him the power to protect his family and home. -------------------------------- This world building is heavily inspired by Worm and The Boys. It features dark, realistic storylines, corporation-funded heroes, and villains who aren't necessarily bad guys. The protagonist's powerset involves the crowd-favourite consuming enemies for power trope, too. The GameLit/LitRPG elements are super light and takes a while to kick in. The powercreep is slow as well since I don't enjoy overpowered protagonists. Chapters everyday until book 1 is complete. The schedule will change once I reach that point.

8 102Sovereign of Loss Book 1: Invader
Have you ever felt like you're being watched by some cold unfeeling god? That's how Clive Adkins feels, every, SINGLE, day. Honor the Dead. This is the creed the man was taught from a young age after his mother's death. and the only thing holding him together as he gets shuffled around by players in a cosmic game spanning entire universes. This is the story of Clive Adkins, An unwilling piece in a grand game. Some tragedies are coincidental but many more were engineered, countless turning points in history, manipulated by forces behind the scenes. Hiroshima and Nagasaki, an attempt to kill a powerful being. Chernobyl, a coverup. Those fenced-in seemingly abandoned areas urban explorers seem to go missing in, exclusion zones. even the deaths of Julius Ceasar and Genghis khan can be attributed to them. The beings responsible for these events aren't fully understood we simply call them, the Invaders. Slimes are stupid!Annoying little pests that don't think about anything. How would they? They don't even have a brain. They don't even think about what they do, dissolving anything in their reach. That's worse than a beast acting on instinct, that's just following a program.A plague of mindless balls of goo.If it were up to me they should all get eradicated. At least that’s what I thought.Until my life was turned into a mess. Stupid slimes!
